For Rosacea "I'm so disappointed and wish I read these reviews before putting this cream on my face. I don't understand why my derm recommended this. I have mild rosacea and suffer from getting really random red blotches and small bumps all over my face, with an uneven skin texture. Of course, everyone's skin reacts differently, but I had the same negative reactions as most other reviewers on here. Within 5 days of persistent use of this cream and no other changes to my skincare routine, I developed tons of tiny whiteheads on my chin, and my face is redder than ever. Even my boyfriend asked what was wrong with my skin when I woke up this morning. It's such a shame that this medication is so expensive, especially with insurance, and it doesn't seem to work for most people. The side effects it brought on my face are awful, and I'm scared to see how long I have to deal with this for. :( USE CAUTION!!!!"

For Rosacea "Horrible. Was prescribed this by a dermatologist for mild rosacea, without any warning about possible side effects. I used this in conjunction with Plexion daily wash. Used no other facial soaps at all. Only other skin regimen was to use the recommended neutral moisturizers. Within 5 days of using Rhofade, the redness had become much worse. Before treatment, I just had a smooth, simple blush. After 5 days of this 'medicine,' my skin had become much more red, over much more area. Instead of smooth slight red, it's bright red and blotchy, with bumps and breakouts forming. Dry and rough and yet looks very shiny. Itching became so bad that I could not sleep (I did resist the urge to scratch). I stopped the meds 2 days ago, but the symptoms persist. With so many negative reports here, how did this medicine pass approval? The studies claim only very low (like 2%) have adverse reactions. What is the truth here? How long will it take to recover? Or is the damage permanent?"

For Rosacea "I asked my derm if there was a way to minimize the capillaries in my cheeks from years of rosacea. He prescribed Rhofade. Thank God they did a pre-authorization or it would have been necessary to remortgage my home. After one application, my face was red, inflamed, and broke out in bumps everywhere. I now have two full tubes of this stuff, and I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy."

For Rosacea "I have mild rosacea and thought I could get it under control if I got a prescription from the dermatologist. I paid more than I should have for Rhofade. I immediately experienced burning, and the redness and swelling are so severe, worse than I’ve ever looked before! I’m so upset! I’ve obviously stopped using the product, yet the irritation, redness, and bumps have remained. I fear I’ve destroyed my skin permanently! How did this cream ever pass the testing phase and legally get distributed? I feel we are the victims and only wish I did my homework and saw these reviews before I ever tried this product! There needs to be a class action lawsuit."

For Rosacea "I used this for a week, and it did not lighten my redness. What’s worse is that it made me develop bumps all over my face, and my face has always been clear, just red. It’s been a week since I’ve used Rhofade, and my face is just now starting to go back to normal. I will NEVER use this cream again. My skin looked 100 times worse than even my teenage years."

For Rosacea "This is a horrible product and should be recalled. I had a very minor rosacea problem with two patches of redness on my cheeks. I used this for one week and it worked fine, but then the second week it made my face a living hell with bumps and itching. The area infected increased to three times the size. I stopped using it and am now using something different from a different doctor. DO NOT USE IT!!!"

For Rosacea "I have mild rosacea and have not had bumps for about a year after I started using metro cream. I went to the dermatologist to see if I could get a cream that would help the redness go down. I used it once and saw a significant difference, but as soon as I used it a second time the next day, my face burned and I got red bumps! Do not use if your rosacea is mild and you don’t have any bumps! Horrible product :("

For Rosacea "DO NOT use this product. Heed the other reviews. My derm prescribed this for some moderate flushing, and honestly, I wish I'd just dealt with the redness, because now my skin is covered in bumps and pustules. I stopped using and pray for a rebound. Seriously, my skin was basically clear apart from redness before using this product, and now it's bumpier than even during my teenage years. I pray for a speedy recovery..."

For Rosacea "I have mild to moderate rosacea. My doctor made this sound like it was such a great cream to treat rosacea, and she's never had any patients have a bad reaction to it. She gave me a sample and a prescription. I had the same awful reaction to it as other reviewers, after the first use. I got huge red bumps (similar to pimples) on my face. I used it a second time, and it got worse, so I threw it in the trash. Thank goodness I did not buy this expensive product."

For Rosacea "I have been using Rhofade for 7 months for redness and flushing, and I love it. I did not have any issues with bumps or anything. I did notice at first I had some small areas that would be a brighter red than the rest of my face when I did not use the cream. But I have been taking pictures of my face to compare, and actually, my face is way less red than usual even when I don’t use it. So the brighter red areas were actually the little areas that did not get lighter. I would not have realized this if I was not using pictures to track my skin. Now my skin on days I don’t use it is much less red. So I say over time this works to lessen the redness. But while it’s on your face, it’s definitely not red at all for the whole day. Friday, 6 am applied before work, still looking clear at 2 am. The only bad side is the high cost of this cream. But it works very well for me, I do not wear concealer or cover up at all. I do use a light moisturizer 10 minutes prior to using Rhofade. Not sure if that matters for bumps, etc."

For Rosacea "I used Rhofade for about 2 weeks before I started to have problems. Initially, I thought it was awesome, but then I started to have a breakout of red bumps that stung like crazy. I tried adding more Rhofade, but it only made it worse... much worse. My face still stings even though I stopped using Rhofade. I hope I didn't do any permanent damage."

For Rosacea "I had very mild redness on my cheeks, no bumps, just a very rare small pimple. I received this from my derm as a sample, and she told me to use it twice a day. At first, it seemed as if the redness was better, but I noticed that I would wake up with red, itchy eyes. I did not make the connection between the Rhofade and my eyes, I just thought it was something else. On day four or five, I was waking up with a beet red face and eyes. Bumps erupted on my cheeks, and my face and eyes burned. I realized it must be the Rhofade and immediately discontinued. Then I went online and saw all of these similar experiences. I am concerned whether this will be permanent damage and cannot seem to get any clear info regarding this anywhere. This drug should be taken off the market."

For Rosacea "I had mild redness, and my dermatologist recommended I try Rhofade. I tried it for two months and noticed only a slight reduction in face redness, but a large increase in red bumps that I never had before. The red bumps went away two weeks after stopping Rhofade."

For Rosacea "I was prescribed Rhofade for the flushing caused by my rosacea. Previously, I had smooth skin with no bumps, just redness. However, after using this medication for three days, my face feels like it's on fire. It has turned blood red, itches intensely, and I now have little bumps on both cheeks. This medication is absolutely horrible. I do not believe the extremely low percentage they claim for allergic reactions. Based on what I've read, the actual percentage must be much higher than what is disclosed to the public. I had high hopes that Rhofade would eliminate the rosy cheeks I had, but instead, I now look like my face has been burned. I strongly advise against using this medication; you will regret it."

For Rosacea "I've had mild rosacea for years and was thrilled to read an article espousing Rhofade. My dermatologist prescribed it without warning of possible side effects. After two days, my face is dark red everywhere this cream touched my face. Bumps and burning. Beware of this product."

For Rosacea "Just tell me when the rebound will stop. My face is on fire, and I have red bumps that hurt - has been for five days and only used Rhofade for a week! Help me, I’m so depressed. My skin is ruined."
