Vitafol Ultra (multivitamin, prenatal) "I took this prenatal during my last pregnancy and this one (31 weeks today). It's great! I don't get nauseous and it's easy to swallow. I don't like that it comes in individual sealed tabs because they're a pain to open every night but that's about the worst of it. They don't taste bad unless they burst in your mouth or before you put them in. Then they're repulsive! Overall O love them though and my insurance covers the full cost."

CitraNatal Bloom (multivitamin, prenatal) "I've found that these are easiest to take before you eat. Food eliminates the fishy taste. For me, they make my tummy rumbly but I read that they're supposed to help your digestive system so it might just be working on a problem I didn't know I had. Overall I feel a lot better on these vitamins even though they're gross. Eat a little, take the pill, then finish your meal & you'll be good to go!"

Provida DHA (multivitamin, prenatal) "The vitamin itself is probably effective, however the constant belching, aftertaste and smell is horrible. I’m literally cursing after every burp because it is that bad. Can’t deal with that for the next 9 months."

Vitafol Ultra (multivitamin, prenatal) "Don't let the negative reviews deter you from trying if you can. I know everyone is different but this is the third prenatal vitamin I've taken, I started with one I purchased outside the US when I first found out I was pregnant and had no issues. At my first prenatal visit I was given samples of a different prescription prenatal vitamin in tablet form and from the start it upset my stomach to the point of almost throwing up immediately after taking it. I was running to the bathroom chugging water and on the third day even after taking it with a full bottle of water I couldn't keep it down so I called my doctor's office and they prescribed Vitafol Ultra. As soon as I saw the capsules they look near identical to the first vitamin I took without issues and after taking it I haven't gotten that horrible instant nauseated feeling anymore."

"Love this prenatal. Soft pill and easy to swallow. Can take at any time of the day and on an empty stomach. Thought in the beginning it was making me nauseous but had to be just my morning sickness bc once I hit my second tri it ended immediately. Haven't experienced any fishy like taste like the other comments suggest. Paying $25 a month after insurance so not terribly expensive. All in all I would highly recommend it."

Neevo (multivitamin, prenatal) "I have been taking Neevo for a week now. I have Type 2 diabetes and a history of miscarriages. Since I have been taking Neevo, my blood sugar has been better than ever. I was told it may help reduce my blood sugar levels and is definitely has. I take Neevo when I wake up and it gives me a boost of energy all day long. I have felt really good the past week and am excited to continue taking Neevo due to this drastic change! I would highly recommend getting a prescription for Neevo. It is definitely worth the money and I feel it is the smartest thing I have done yet, to try and have a healthy pregnancy. I have not had any side effects and feel the pill is easy to swallow. Other prenatals I have taken had a "chalky" taste but not Neevo."

"I am 16 weeks pregnant, since I started taking vitafol I was suffering for 4 months with a cough chest tightness and wheezing. I was seen so many times by doctors because I couldn't breathe. I was treated with many antibiotics, steroids, inhalers to treat what they called "respiratory infection " "acute bronchitis " but nothing was curing or helping my symptoms. When I went to see my PMD finally in the hope he would figure out how to help me. I found out I was having a severe allergic reaction to Vitaful prenatal vitamins. The minute I stopped taking them I felt better, not 100% yet still with some cough but at I can breathe!!!!!"

"These have been my favorite due to the size and taste. I am unsure why many users say they have a fishy after taste? The omega 3 is plant based. The box clearly states there are NO fish products in Vitafol."

Prenatal Plus (multivitamin, prenatal) "I know I need them, but taking this vitamin causes me extreme nausea and constipation, I mean all day nausea that makes me not have any appetite. I decided not to take it for like a day or 2 and my nausea subsided, but I felt a little dizzy as if my iron was low. So I take it at night now to reduce the effect, and I'm going to start taking stool softener to fight off the bowel issue."

Vitafol Ultra (multivitamin, prenatal) "I love this prenatal and I cannot recommend it enough. When I took gummies, I wasn't getting everything that I needed. I was still experiencing nausea/vomiting with morning sickness. When I take this pill first thing in the morning when I wake up, within 30min I feel great. I am not nauseous on this pill, and my headaches are minimal. My skin glows, as well. I feel like I'm doing the very best for my body and baby when I take this pill. It's quite expensive but to me, it's worth it."

Vitafol Ultra (multivitamin, prenatal) "I tried every top prenatal vitamin, even gummies did not agree with my system. My obgyn prescribed these to me. The sample box came with a coupon I applied to a 3 month supply. Yes, it was pricey but worth it. They are easy to swallow and digest for super sensitive stomachs like mine. Highly recommend!"

Provida DHA (multivitamin, prenatal) "Horrific. Took one with food and 10 minutes later was belching what smelled/tasted like pond water. I ended up vomiting uncontrollably for 5 minutes trying to get it out of my stomach. Never taking this again. Absolutely disgusting."

"When I started to take the vitamins, I eat a little more on the side. In the first few days I had upset stomach, nausea and even vomiting (I could hardly vomit generally but the drug made me). Then I started to take every other day but still I was having stomach problems. Finally I stopped to take them for 2 weeks and I feel I am exhausted as the baby got all my body nutritients. I started to feel tired, sleepy and overall not well. Now I eat little by little and take the vitamin again every other day still I feel constipation but I try to drink lots of water to absorb the vitamin and I feel better. Also, try to bite it and then swallow(I know it is disgusting) it may help to absorb it easier."

Vitafol Ultra (multivitamin, prenatal) "Been taking for a week now yes the pills are easy to swallow and don't taste bad at all, but they did give me a major headache. After reading reviews I thought every person had different side effects, but they did give me an upset stomach and a major headache. I am not sure about taking them anymore."

Duet DHA (multivitamin, prenatal) "I just tried these as one of the many samples I was given. This is my least favorite because I am burping a fish taste within two hours of taking them. I hate fish so to me this is very nauseating. I haven't had this issue with any others."
