For Bowel Preparation "4th colonoscopy, 3rd variation and best prep so far. I was worried after reading all the negative reviews and feel for those with a bad experience but my own couldn't have gone more smoothly. The key is PRE-PREP! Ate a low-residue, NO-meat diet for 3 days prior, and a full liquid-only whole day of prep. I hydrated 8 oz of water, mint tea, and Gatorade as often as possible for 48 hours prior. Also, I took a Zofran anti-nausea pill 1 hour pre-prep (have seen that half a Dramamine helps too). Spaced the 12 pills out 1 pill every 2 1/2 minutes with 16 oz water & 32 oz water an hour later. It is a lot, so stay active by pacing, taking small walks in the yard, etc. Within 90 minutes of the first pill, I was going. Sipped mint tea & Gatorade till bedtime. Repeat steps (another Zofran too) in the AM with cramping and slight waves of nausea. All in all, a thumbs up for a clear successful colonoscopy. The key is to prepare and hydrate ahead of time, stay calm and don't rush the pills & water. Good luck!"

For Bowel Preparation "First colonoscopy. Followed doctor's instructions exactly (which required getting up at 3 in the morning before the procedure, ugh). I began eating low-fiber, low-residue foods three days prior and absolutely stuck to it (eggs, cottage cheese, Gatorade, broth, and Ensure). I hydrated like nobody's business with both Pedialyte and Gatorade. I consumed only clear liquids the day before. I didn't experience any cramping or vomiting whatsoever. My Dr. said my prep was excellent and he could see everything. Thank God I don't have to do this for another 10 years, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Sutab again."

For Bowel Preparation "This was my 4th colonoscopy prep and by far the easiest. I drank all the recommended water/liquids with the prep and did not experience any nausea or cramping. You do have to drink a lot: recommended 8 oz an hour for the 2 days before the procedure. In the evening before the procedure, you drink 6 16 oz glasses along with taking the pills over a 5 1/2 hour period (along with many bathroom visits). I found that eating soft foods for a couple of days before the prep, then the liquids only the day before the procedure made the prep much more comfortable. It really wasn’t bad."

For Bowel Preparation "Began the first treatment at 6 pm the night before. Followed the instructions, and within 30 minutes, I began relieving myself. Continued to drink water over the next few hours and continued discharging. By bedtime, I was able to sleep and only got up once during the night. Took the second dose early in the morning and continued discharging as expected. No cramps, nausea, or accidents. Fairly easy to use and go through the process. Will definitely choose this option again."

For Bowel Preparation "Not a walk in the park, but better than the liquids. First off, ate a very low residue, no dairy or meat diet for 48 hours prior to prep day (also hydrated with water and Gatorade the days before). As many here suggested, asked Dr. for Zofran (anti-nausea), it was definitely needed in my case. About an hour after finishing 1st dose of 12 pills, I was running to the bathroom (while working on 32 oz of water!). Little cramping or nausea. But the 2nd 12 pills were HARD to get through. All the sulfate rises up and causes an extreme salty taste and saliva buildup. I admit I only made it through 22 of total 24 pill dose. I couldn't risk throwing up all the pills I had taken when I was so close to the end. Paced around a bit and small sips of water until the salty taste and nausea subsided (15 min). That said, the prep was good and it did the trick. Slept pretty well and was clear for morning exam. A strange experience, but not entirely horrible either. Best of luck to all who try this."

For Bowel Preparation "Most god-awful experience ever. Read all reviews, my doctor never heard of a bad reaction, so I tried it. Super hydrated and fasted. I took the first 12 pills at 5 pm and threw up at 6 pm (mostly water), sweating, cramps, nausea, and no poop. Then the second 8 pills at 10 pm (the last 4 pills would have literally killed me), and I had profuse sweating, violent, unrelenting vomiting into dry heaving while having first solid stool, then projectile diarrhea and excruciating cramps so bad I couldn't breathe. I lay on the bathroom floor to get cool and relieve pain, but it was impossible—sweat puddles for hours alone (bad idea). A friend begged to come get me and take me to the ER, but immobilized from pain, I couldn't open the door for her or an ambulance. Barely made it to bed because I was so weak and dizzy from trauma to my body. Left five messages for my doctor through the night that he mysteriously never received or responded to, but tried colonoscopy anyway and failed, so all for nothing and $$$. Research!!! Get water colonoscopy, do Miralax only prep."

For Bowel Preparation "These are vile in every single way! Worst experience of my life, and it’s still happening. First dose induced gnarly cramping as well as horrific chest pain. It is how I imagine a massive heart attack would feel! Took hours to begin working, and the results are violent! Just began my second dose 20 minutes ago. Five pills in, and I was projectile vomiting. After about five straight minutes of that, it subsided for now, but I’m pretty sure I lost it all. Still riddled with the chest pain and cramping. My head is now throbbing, and I’m shaking so violently that this is taking far too long to type. I’m so angry! I was given no choice. It was only Sutab. This is not my first prep. They are typically unpleasant, but this has been the worst night! No sleep! I paid way too much money for one of the worst nights of my life, and I will likely have to cancel. I will not be rescheduling because I will NEVER do this again! Way to go, Doc! You prescribed me a bad drug and have traumatized me!"

For Bowel Preparation "I fasted, drank only clear liquids, and took the pills as directed. The first bottle went fine. About 30 minutes after I finished the first bottle, I ran to the bathroom. I experienced two more severe bowel movements before even starting the second. Barely got through the second bottle when I vomited clear liquid. This was around 8:30 pm, spent the next 5 hours running to and/or sitting on the bowl. This is my second colonoscopy, my first experience with the liquid went fine. This was a horrible experience-bloating, cramping. Will not take this ever again."

For Bowel Preparation "Followed the diet suggestions one week in advance. The day before, I maintained a liquid diet: water, Gatorade, jello, and chicken broth. After taking the first 12 pills with the recommended water, my stomach felt bloated and tight. I could barely finish the next 16 oz of water before I got extremely nauseous and crampy. The first two times of attempting to vomit were dry heaves, then I proceeded to vomit two more times with success. It felt like I had been poisoned, thankfully, my body knew just what to do by throwing it up. I felt a little better after but had chills. About 30 minutes later, I began the elimination. It was off and on for about 3 hours, and it did clean me out pretty well. I decided I would not continue with the second half as it was a horrible experience, and my body clearly rejected it. I will not be recommending this to anyone and would advise the alternative method."

For Bowel Preparation "Horrible side effects and still no results 24 hours after taking all the tablets exactly as directed by my doctor. Very painful cramps, severe distension, nausea, lots of gushing sounds, but no evacuation whatsoever. My tests need to be rescheduled after my doctor has me do yet another prep. It certainly won't be Sutab. Amendment to the above: evacuation has begun 25.5 hours after taking the first dose. The cramping is unreal. This is all happening after my scheduled test time, so I now need to remain on clear liquids for another 24 hours and have my colonoscopy tomorrow. This product is the pits."

For Bowel Preparation "This is the best way ever to prep for a colonoscopy. It's easy to swallow, no bad taste, and it works. I made sure I didn't have any breakfast or any solid food. I only drank water and clear electrolytes. I took my first prep pills at 9 a.m., and second prep pills at 3 p.m., and I was done by 7 p.m. All clear. No cramps. Thank you, Sutab pills, for making prep so much easier."

For Bowel Preparation "I took Sutab at 5 pm and had nausea, cramps, vomiting, and weakness, and I could not sleep. I took a second dose at 5:30 am the next morning, and it lasted till 7 am. It was effective in the end but was not as easy as the preps I have used in the past."

For Bowel Preparation "I was hesitant after reading reviews on this med, but I have to tell you I found it so much easier than past prep options. No cramping at all. I think it helped that I drank 20 ounces of water instead of 16 oz. I also found chewing mint gum was helpful."

For Bowel Preparation "I have lost track of how many bowel preps I’ve done at this point, but compared to the salty drink I had during my first colonoscopy when I was 16, I was excited when I was told they have pills for the prep for my surgery tomorrow. I literally just had to do this for a colonoscopy 2 months ago and had to drink one of the liquids, so I am unfortunately a frequent flyer when it comes to these. I don’t remember what time I took the doses - I honestly just estimated the times I was supposed to take them based on my check-in time in the early morning. Took me about 90 seconds to take all 12 pills each time. I love water, so drinking water all day (plus bone broth for protein) was also easy. No cramps, nausea, or any other adverse side effects. Been peeing out of my rear end and it’s now yellow (that’s the sign you’re ready)."

For Bowel Preparation "This was my fourth colonoscopy prep. All the others were awful because of the copious amounts of liquid I had to drink. 20 years ago, the prep barely worked, and I was up all night with cramps. The pills are great. I took the first dose at 4 pm. I swallowed all of them in 1 minute. I had one soft stool. Then, 2 hours after the pills, at 6 pm, pure liquid came out. No cramping. Lasted until about 8:30 pm. Was able to sleep without any problems. Started again at 4 am. I felt a little nauscious drinking my last 16 oz of water, but slowed down, burped, and was fine. Eruptions began at 5 am. But not that much left. I hope I will be done by 7:30 when I go to the doctor. I agree with using cream on your bottom and Tucks, which sting. I probably should have drank more during the day."

For Bowel Preparation "Took Sutab to prepare for my colonoscopy on Friday. The good: VERY easy to take, no bigger than a multivitamin and has no flavor; just have to drink it with lots of water, which you should be having anyway. I was prescribed Zofran (anti-nausea) and took one tablet 1 1/2 hours before I started, didn't have any problem with nausea, vomiting, or cramps. Took about 2 1/2 hours to kick in; I was fully evacuated by about 8 hours later. The bad: It didn't clean me out as completely as the Miralax prep I did 10 years prior. Still had little bits of residue coming out right before my colonoscopy. Doctor noted that my prep was 'acceptable' but remarked that there was still fecal matter present. I followed the instructions to the letter, so that's on the Sutab, I guess. Bottom (ha ha) line: Sutab did well enough for me, but the Miralax prep cleaned me out better. If you use Sutab, start a low-residue diet starting 5 days before, get some anti-nausea meds and hydrate!!"

For Bowel Preparation "It’s a colonoscopy prep. It’s no fun, but Sutab makes it a heck of a lot easier. 3rd colonoscopy, first with Sutab. Took the pills, drank the water, no cramping, no nausea, over by 10 pm. Slept well, had the colonoscopy, back to normal the same day. Way better than liquid preps. Highly recommend. Heard a lot of the people at the facility who were also having colonoscopies saying the same thing."

For Bowel Preparation "I never cared for the prep drink. I can do it without fuss, but I don't like it in the least, and up until recently, wasn't aware of any other alternative. After getting the Sutab, I came online to read all the horrible reviews here, so I was questioning if I shouldn't have just gone with the drink again. So glad I didn't. Starting 3 days before the procedure, I started a low-fiber/residue diet and stayed well hydrated. Had absolutely zero issues with the first 12 Sutab pills, I even took them rather quickly (less than 5 min for all 12 and the water). Within an hour, they started to work and was 'cleansed out' about 4 hours after starting them. For the second dose, I had read that I wasn't supposed to take them so quickly, so I set a timer and took one every 2 min. The 16 oz of water was perfect for taking all 12, followed up with the additional 32 oz as directed, and had zero issues: no bloating, no cramping, no nausea. It's the most pleasant experience I can imagine for what it is."
