For Emergency Contraception "It worked for me. I had sex with my boyfriend on May 14th, approx. 2 PM, and the condom slipped off. This was also on the day of my ovulation (according to the calendar, not super accurate, but I wanted to mention this fact). I checked the condom after, and there was no sign of semen. We have gotten pregnant before, so I took Plan B the next day, approx. 24-26 hours later. Experienced side effects for one day a week later (dizziness, pulsating cramps, major crabbiness). I got my period a week after that, one day early, with a little heavier flow. I would also like to mention that I am way over the supposed weight limit for this pill."

For Emergency Contraception "I just want to share my experience on this drug. I had unprotected sex with my husband the day after my period (August 28, 2015, Friday). He didn't ejaculate, but we're not ready for a baby yet, so just to make sure, I took Plan B One-Step the next day (Saturday, August 29). The first day, I felt okay, nothing is bothering me, till I felt nauseous, dizzy, and I'm having cramps (assuming that my period would come out again). I just let it be, and as the description of the box said, it's normal to feel those symptoms. After one week (Saturday, September 5th), I started to have bleeding, I assumed it was my breakthrough bleeding. It lasted for 4-5 days (like my normal period). This medication is 100% real, and it works for me."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex the second to the last day of my period. Two days later, I took Plan B. Like one week later, I began spotting.. it only lasted about 4 days (I bled for one day in that time). Then BOOM, every side effect possible: cramps, nausea, mood swings, dizziness, fatigue, EVERYTHING!!! I was convinced I was pregnant. Then my period came 8 days late!! Beware before taking this.. it was a lot to go through.. but glad I am not pregnant. It was a rough month. Also, beware of First Response early response digital pregnancy tests!! Those gave me a false positive result!! What a stressful month waiting for Aunt Flo! Have faith and good luck, y'all."

For Emergency Contraception "I had protected sex with my boyfriend at around 3 a.m., and the condom broke, but we didn't realize until after he had finished in me. At 12 p.m. the next day, I took Plan B. The symptoms I had were breast tenderness, dizziness, headache, cramps, and fatigue. I got my period as supposed to a week later from taking the pill. After that, my period arrived on the day it was supposed to, and everything was fine! Do not freak out if this happens or if you have a scare! Plan B really works, and you can rely on it! I remember how terrified I was and how all I wanted was someone to tell me there's nothing to worry about, so trust me, do not worry about anything until you know for sure whether you are pregnant or not."

For Emergency Contraception "Ok, girls, if you're reading this, it's because you are scared because you think you're pregnant and don't understand Plan B. I sadly am 15 and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I am on birth control, but being stupid, I was still scared even though he didn't cum inside of me, so I took Plan B anyway. The week after I had sex again unprotected, but this time he cummed inside, and that scared me, so even though I am on birth control, I took Plan B about 30 hours later. I have had awful side effects: dizziness, being nauseous, and headaches have been killing me for about a week now. I was supposed to get my period last night during the night, and I didn't, so I started getting really scared, but tonight I finally got it, and it was a big relief!!! Plan B works, don't worry!!!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I posted last week after I took Plan B. I promised I would write my experience if it worked, and it did. Took the one called 'Take Action' 26 hours after the 'incident.' Was absolutely terrified because I'm extremely fertile and it was on the day I normally ovulate, and I have never waited that long for the morning-after pill, so I was extra nervous about getting pregnant. My side effects were absolutely horrible, and they are so similar to actually being pregnant it's insane. I was fine the first couple of days, just made my head feel weird and I got emotional, but days after I was super dizzy and nauseous. I started 2 days early, and it's pretty bad, but better than being pregnant. Try to relax, pretty sure it works."

For Emergency Contraception "Listen, it works, and it works well. But there is something that I haven't seen other girls mention on here. Sometimes you won't feel the side effects right away, you may feel them on your first period after the pill. I had to take this pill twice in my life. The first time, I had paranoia during my first menstrual cycle after the pill. The second time, I had a major panic attack while at work. I had the feeling that something really bad was happening because my heart was racing, and I felt dizzy and had blurry vision. I have a history of depression, but my periods are never like this. This only happened the 2 times I took Plan B. Just wanted to throw this out there to warn somebody because I had no idea what was happening to me. But the pill works well as an emergency contraceptive."

For Emergency Contraception "(UK babe here) I use natural cycles to track my BBT. I took Levonelle the night of my predicted ovulation. (It’s free in Boots if you’re under 24). I was scared as anything. I didn’t get any normal PMS until 2 days before my period was due. I have headaches on and off, and once PMS symptoms started, I was dizzy as anything! My period started 1 day late and was a tad lighter than usual. God is good!! Delayed but not denied, lmao! Take a deep breath, girls, and get off Google!"

For Emergency Contraception "My story is the same as most of yours; broken condom. This is my second time taking the pill, and I feel like the second time around I had a really adverse reaction. I have the most awful stomach pain, headaches, diarrhea (eww), dizziness, breast tenderness, fatigue... Everything that could go wrong went wrong. I got the wrong end of the stick this time, I guess. The symptoms are making me nervous, but reading all the positive comments on here makes me feel better!"

For Emergency Contraception "The condom broke during sex. I took Plan B an hour after. I had awful cramps and bloating and tiredness and felt dizzy for a week, and the period came early. All tests came back negative. I would have given it a 10 if the side effects didn’t suck so much, but all in all, happy."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex with full-on ejaculation on Nov 3rd. I am well over the alleged weight limit. Went to Walgreens and took Plan B an hour and a half after intercourse. I took the pill and waited for the longest 12 days of my life. The night I took it, I went to bed almost immediately. I was fine through the night. I woke up slightly dizzy, but that wore off. I was a little crampy, tired, and a little nauseated for the most part. Nothing that stopped me from everyday activities. Two days later, I started PMS symptoms, but like 10x. My breasts ached so bad, much worse than regular PMS breast pain. I had little cramps throughout the day for the full 12 days, and I was nauseated at random times. Also, I was a total cow (this was probably also due to the stress haha). On Nov 18, I got my period. This pill works as long as you are not already ovulating. Like I said, I also took it right away. I hope this helps someone. Stay as calm as possible and have faith in this pill! It really works!"

For Emergency Contraception "My advice: be extra careful and ready when being sexually active. Birth control is the best contraception! However, Plan B was a lifesaver. It took a week for my body to take any kind of response. I was dizzy and nauseous and had my period a week later. I was just like you all reading reviews, hoping for a sign it was going to work. So much so, I was in tears and stressed to the max. It DOES work, and sit back and relax, let the medicine do its job. It is pricey, but it is effective. Worth the $."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex on January 13th, about 8 days before ovulation and 2 days before my fertile window. My January period had ended on the 8th. My period has always been regular, so I know my cycle. Even so, I decided to take Plan B, just in case. On January 14th, maybe 9-10 hours after. Please remember that you are overloading your body with hormones, so it is normal to have some side effects. I started heavily bleeding on January 18th for about 7 days, with blood clots, cramps, breast tenderness, headaches, and dizziness, which is very normal for my period. This also would have been a second period for January, which was very annoying. I am currently waiting for my February period, which may be late, this is absolutely normal. Plan B is there to push back your ovulation date, your body releasing an egg (your period) is the sign that the egg was not fertilized. Do not stress, everything will be okay as long as you take it within the correct timeframe under the correct circumstances!"

For Emergency Contraception "Took 2 Plan B's in one month after unprotected sex. My last real period was May 7th. Took the Plan B's the 15th and the 25th. Each time I took it, I bled 5 days later. The month of June was miserable-bloating, headaches, emotional mood swings, cramping (with no period), dizziness, and tiredness. I ended up taking a HPT (which came back negative). Finally, I got my period on June 29th. Almost 2 months after my last real one (if you don't count the bleeding from taking the pill). Plan B WORKS. The side effects were worth the end result of not getting pregnant! Hope this review helps put someone's mind at ease. If your period is late, it's because of the high amount of hormones in this pill. Just wait it out and try not to stress."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B after a... mishap. I was a little nervous, since I had never taken hormonal birth control. I had a slight bit of nausea, tiredness, and dizziness shortly after taking the pill, but no other side effects. I got my period about a week later, so it worked. It wasn't heavier or more painful than normal."

For Emergency Contraception "So I was 18 years old at the time with my boyfriend. At the time, it was last summer, and we had sex. We used condoms most of the time, but the one time we decided not to, he was going to cum, but he pulled out. We were scared he had precum, so he got me Plan B. It was the worst side effects. It made me so sick, and it made my period so heavy. It made me dizzy. I was bleeding so much, and I was so bloated. It made my period come early also, but I missed my period two months after that. But I was beyond happy I got my period, it worked for me. I was beyond lucky it did. It may not work for everyone. God has a plan for you. Please be careful having sex, especially if you are young. I learned from my mistake."

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill yesterday around 9 p.m. I felt fine. I actually had no nausea, maybe a slight bit of dizziness, but that's about it. I woke up this morning after sleeping for 10 hours, and I still felt exhausted. Today I've been tired all day, to where I could probably pass out any time, but already having two kids, I can say what I've felt from this pill is no match for what I felt with pregnancy and motherhood."

For Emergency Contraception "My experience was eye-opening for me. I had sex with this guy around the time I was ovulating, and the condom broke, he finished in me. I took the pill 14 hours later and thought I'd be pregnant either way. After about 4 days, I started experiencing dizziness, abnormal bleeding, and nausea. I love to eat, so I knew that something was wrong. I was beyond moody, and I felt extremely distracted from everything. I was positive I was pregnant. Thankfully, I got my period 2 days early, and even though I have severe cramps, it's all worth it!!"

For Emergency Contraception "January 5th, I was ovulating, and my boyfriend and I hooked up. He came inside of me, and I was totally freaking out. Went to Walgreens to buy this wonderful gift and took it about 7 hours after we did the deed. I just started my period today! I'm so very happy and thankful for Plan B, it works, ladies! I was completely skeptical about it since it was my first time taking it. I had mild side effects, like it made me feel nauseous, I had a huge headache, I was dizzy, but 24 hours after I took it, I felt much better. Make sure you take it ASAP, before 24 hours is definitely your best bet! Trust Plan B!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill the next day after unprotected sex. This pill worked for me, but I experienced horrible side effects (nausea, vomiting, cramping, dizziness, and flu-like symptoms), and I got my period 8 days late. I had horrible anxiety thinking I was pregnant due to the high dose of hormones in this pill. Do yourself a favor and get on some regular birth control."

For Emergency Contraception "If you are reading this and are currently freaking out, please stop! I was in your same position. I had sex with my boyfriend on June 26, and the condom broke. Immediately after, I drove to the store and bought Plan B. I took it within the hour. Over the next couple of days, I experienced mild cramps and a little dizziness, but other than that, I felt completely fine. I began to wonder if the pill didn't work because I wasn't having any other side effects. Today is July 8, and I got my period, only 2 days late! I know you're reading all of these reviews and hoping to make everything okay, but I promise you that the pill WORKS. Don't stress out. Just be patient and give it time!"

For Emergency Contraception "Had unprotected sex during ovulation and took the Plan B within 3 hours of unprotected sex. I was still terrified because I was ovulating, but I’m happy to say I got my period right on time. I didn’t give it a 10 rating because I had bad side effects. I was very dizzy the next day, and during the following week, I experienced nausea. Overall, this pill works."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B One-Step 7 hours after intercourse (pull-out method, no BC) on day 12 of my cycle (usually ovulate day 14-16, sometimes earlier). The first 24 hours following, I was very warm, dizzy, and extremely tired. I stayed very tired for the following week. About one week after taking the pill, I had breast tenderness and some slight cramps from time to time for about a week. This made me concerned I was pregnant. I took two HPTs... One 10 days following intercourse/pill and the other 12 days later, both negative. Period started 13 days following the pill (5 days earlier than expected). It is heavy and dark, and I am relieved."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B One-Step 7 days ago (Sunday). I was days before ovulation and fertile at the time, so I took the pill the following day (Monday). I had no side effects. However, recently (Friday), I was extremely dizzy and had a massive headache for about 2 hours. So I ate, relaxed, and laid back for a minute, and it was gone. So side effects can come days later. But hopefully, like mine, they are short-lived. I still haven't gotten my period, but it isn't due for a couple of weeks."
