For Emergency Contraception "I wanted to share my experience for anyone out there stressing. I took Plan B on Nov. 6 (3 days after my period ended). The condom completely broke inside of me, and my boyfriend and I didn’t realize until it was too late (I’m not on bc). I took the Plan B 30 minutes after, and I was petrified. I experienced light bleeding 5 days after taking it that lasted for 2 days. I experienced bloating, increased appetite, and changes in my discharge. I was late for my period by 15 days, but I got it! I took 2 pregnancy tests throughout the time period before I got my period, and they were negative. Taking this pill can mimic pregnancy symptoms, so keep that in mind as time passes. Please do not stress and trust the pill. Good luck!"

For Emergency Contraception "Two weeks ago, I had sex with my boyfriend without any protection. I used to take Plan B as we are not seeing each other frequently. But this time, for the first time in my life, I was so freaked out because I was having sex and taking Plan B on the same day as I was supposed to ovulate, which is the riskiest time. I took Plan B one hour after sex, and I got no side effects at all. Last time I took it, I was bleeding badly for a week after Plan B. But this time, I believed I was too late. For two weeks, I stressed myself out, and the day my period was supposed to come, I peed a lot, and by 2 pm, yeah, my period came! Plan B works even on ovulating day!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill in September after a condom slipped. I got my period on time. I then had to take it two times in October after two mishaps. I bled the week after I took the pills. I never got my period on my exact due date. I got it at the end of November. So girls, if you're worried you might not get it, you will. Just take it on time and right away. I am now going to get put on the pill and make sure I have a condom when I have sex. It was a lot of money, but worth it. You don't know how happy I was to see my period."

For Emergency Contraception "I've taken this 2-3 times. The first few times, mild cramping occurred but nothing major. The most recent occurrence resulted in cramps immediately afterward and bleeding, I mean heavy period type, 5 days after I took it, a mere 2 weeks after I had started my last cycle. The bleeding lasted about 4 days. I thought perhaps it had reset my cycle, but nope, got my 'normal' period a few days early, and it has been the most painful and heaviest I've experienced in some time. Obviously, Plan B works, although I have no idea whether or not I was even at risk of being pregnant. Just know it will possibly upset your cycle."

For Emergency Contraception "I hope my experience can help someone calm their nerves. I took Plan B a week after I finished my period, 1 hour after having unprotected sex. A week later, I experienced bleeding for 4 days. Maybe 2 weeks after taking the pill, I had a non-stop headache for 9 days straight, from when I woke up to when I would go to bed. After that, I was nauseous for 2 whole days (I basically convinced myself that I was pregnant). After that, I had light cramping but no period. My period finally came 15 days late (a month and 2 days after taking the pill). It was a very long and stressful waiting period, but it happened. I spent like $100 on pregnancy tests and couldn’t sleep at night, BUT IT WORKED! IT WORKED OUT! Try to relax, you’ll be fine!! (Also, important note: I was 3 days before ovulation, and I’m kind of at the weight limit.) I basically experienced all the symptoms and had an awful month, but the most important thing is that everything turned out fine! GOOD LUCK!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex on August 2nd and took Plan B around 20 hours after. I experienced some bleeding a week later. Missed my period for August (it was supposed to come August 19th). My period finally came around September 6th. I was freaking out because my period was late, and I was paranoid since a lot of people seemed to get their period a few days early/late up to a week later. Just be patient if you haven’t gotten your period on time and don’t freak yourself out like I did!"

For Emergency Contraception "This pill works! Don't read these reviews 24 hrs a day like I did. I was so scared and worried myself sick, but it works. I was on birth control but didn't take it at the same times. (Wasn't using as contraception, more to regulate periods). Period ended June 22nd. Incident on the night of June 24th, took the pill June 25th, 5 hrs after the incident. Withdrawal bleeding July 1-8. Regular period was supposed to come July 13, I got it one day early on the 12th. So basically, two weeks of bleeding in a month. Even after that, it was heavy, but I was worried about implantation and all that. But I got my next period August 8th, and it is two days early according to my birth control packet, but right on time if I counted 28-day cycle! THIS WORKS. TRUST IT!"

For Emergency Contraception "So I figured I’d share my experience as a first-time user. So I had an oops about 6 days after my period had ended, so about 30 minutes after the incident, I took a Plan B. I didn’t get any of the nauseousness or tiredness, I felt totally fine. About 5 days after taking the pill, I had spotting that started pinkish into full heavy bleeding, almost like a period, for about 3-4 days. I assume this was breakthrough bleeding from the pill, which was a common side effect. May 24th was supposed to be my period, but that came and went. Finally, after weeks of stress, yesterday, which would be the 10th of June, a very heavy and ache-filled period began. For all those who take it and are nervous about it, it seems that late periods and early periods are common side effects. I kept reading this forum to make myself feel better about having such a late period. Don’t worry, your period will come if the pill was used correctly! :)"

For Emergency Contraception "Plan B works! Follow directions! Boyfriend did an accident, so I took the pill 12 hours later, and I wasn’t ovulating. Caused bleeding for me a week later! Also experienced pregnancy symptoms. Btw, I’m over the 'weight' requirements for Plan B, and it worked with 1 pill."

For Emergency Contraception "Well, Plan B worked. It worked, and here we are a year later, no baby. However, the side effects are horrible. I threw up 3 times a day for a week, bled heavily, and had cramps so bad I couldn't get out of bed. But, hey. Discomfort for a week or two or an unplanned pregnancy?"

For Emergency Contraception "I told myself that if Plan B worked for me, I'd write a review, so here I am. I took Plan B on October 13 after an incident and took one more pill the next day. After that, I'm not sure why I did that, I just thought it would work better, I guess. I had light bleeding a week after for like three days. I got so happy thinking it was my period, but it wasn't, it was just breakthrough bleeding. I have been sick for four weeks after taking this pill, and I was convinced I was pregnant. I have had sore boobs for all those four weeks and have been feeling nauseous every single day. Since it's been four weeks, I was sure I was pregnant. I also felt dizzy at times and very out of it. Today, four weeks after, I started my period. So happy."

For Emergency Contraception "For one, I just want to say PLEASE TRUST THIS PILL! I got my period today (May 16th) and couldn't have been any more relieved, especially after more than a week of stressing. I had unprotected sex on May 3rd and took this pill the next day, which was May 4th. Ever since then, I have been so worried about being pregnant. My partner was very confident that he pulled out and did not finish in me, so that eased the stress only by a little bit, as pre-cum could still possibly get you pregnant (chances of that are EXTREMELY low, so please do not stress). Also, if you are a bigger woman, don't stress, I read research saying that it's not effective if you are over a certain weight limit, but I am 285, and I'm 6'1, so that's rubbish. I was also scared because I started bleeding yesterday (May 15th) and it looked like implantation bleeding, but it was definitely just my period starting, being that it is on right now. YOU WILL BE FINE!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had protected sex with my boyfriend on Sept. 16th at 1 am, but the condom broke. The following day, around 2 pm, I took Plan B One-Step for the very first time. I read reviews before taking the pill so I would have an idea of what option to take. I didn't receive any symptoms at all, so I was convinced the pill didn't work, so the panic began! This morning is when my period really kicked in. Very heavy bleeding and bad cramps. Overall, this pill really works, and I couldn't be happier to see my period."

For Emergency Contraception "My boyfriend and I had sex on 2/6 around 5 p.m., and the condom broke. I was scared that he didn't pull out fully and accidentally finished inside me. The last time I got my period was on 1/22. I wanted to purchase Plan B, but I didn't get the pill until the next day around 12 p.m. Five days after taking the pill, I was bleeding for about four days (super light). I was waiting and waiting for my period to come, but nothing was happening. I was getting impatient and really nervous that I was actually pregnant, so I went and bought a pregnancy test, and it came out negative. I finally got my period today on 3/13 around 5 p.m., I could not be happier. The pill works, ladies, so relax."

For Emergency Contraception "I had sex (first time) May 31st. Although he didn't cum inside of me, we thought we should be safe! So that same day (earlier) at 11 almost 12, I bought and took the Plan B pill. I took it with water only and was fine. (I don't have a sensitive stomach). I had no side effects. 5 days after taking it, I had period-like bleeding (one of the side effects of the pill) that lasted 5 days (like my normal period would). I also had a fever (rare side effect). I had all my symptoms as well: uterus cramps, farting (weird, I know), and lower back pain. After that, I had no other things happen until June 25 when I started my period! It's a little off (none of my normal period symptoms). It works! Relax. Don't stress. You'll be fine."

For Emergency Contraception "I was also looking at reviews, worried I was pregnant. A guy finished inside me while I was ovulating, and I’m not on BC or anything, so I panicked. We bought Plan B, and I took it an hour after he had finished. I was so paranoid it wasn’t gonna work because I have bad luck, and I’m not in the “weight limit” people claim there is to be, but it worked for me. My period came 1 month after it happened, and I’m not pregnant!! Good luck, girls, and don’t worry because the stress will push back your period like mine. I wrote this because, like others, I said if it worked for me, I’d write a review to help others in the situation I was in. Side effects: I was having light bleeding 1 week after I took the pill, would have cramps, and some light headaches."

For Emergency Contraception "Typical story: condom broke during supposed ovulation/fertile days and took the pill the morning after (within 8 hours). In my personal experience, I had no complications or any abnormal side effects, such as I have read reported from others (no cramps, nausea, or abnormal bleeding). I was very fortunate and received my period on the date scheduled as predicted. Although I do not normally or personally advocate non-natural medications and hormones, hey, sometimes one needs to take care of themselves quickly and immediately. Wishing everyone else the same effectiveness and similar positive experience to the one I had with the pill."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B about 2 weeks after my period. Around the time I would have ovulated, 3 days later I bled for 3 days, and when I should have gotten my period, I didn't. I was 18 days late! But if you count from when I took Plan B to when I got my period, it was a month, so I think it just reset my period. It worked, but the waiting was not fun."

For Emergency Contraception "To all the ladies reading the reviews and stressing out, stop. This pill is very effective, but stress will delay your period even more. Mine finally came today, 9 days late. And I took the pill on day three after the 'accident.' I just kept stressing and stressing, having parsley in tea and taking in lots of vitamin C and cinnamon, paranoid. Reading reviews all day. The incident happened like 5 days before my period was supposed to start, so this waiting game seemed like forever. My friends kept telling me to relax, but I felt like I was going to die being 18 and all with overprotective parents. It was my first time, and it didn't happen all the way, but my friends told me about precum, so I was terrified. Having bad cramps right now and bleeding :D"

For Emergency Contraception "To start off, I had sex on April 15 and took Plan B about 45 minutes after the condom broke. Five days later, I experienced bleeding for 2 days, and I would say it wasn't spotting, but it was medium/heavy. After the bleeding, I was trying not to think about it and just hoping science would do its magic. About a week later, I started stressing again. I already have bad anxiety, which made this situation a lot worse. I couldn't fathom telling my parents, there was a point where I was almost convinced I was pregnant, and honestly, I think it was just me getting worried. But here I am, May 7, and my period is here, and I couldn't be happier! It works! Seriously, just relax!"

For Emergency Contraception "My period ended on the first of November. Two days later, I had protected sex, but the condom had broken. This was around 7 or 8 o'clock at night. All of the pharmacies were closed, so I had to wait. I found Plan B One-Step at a local pharmacy, and I took the pill within 48 hours. Because of the pill, I've experienced a lot of irritability. It basically just feels like PMS. Today, six days after I took the pill, I noticed light bleeding, and I've had a little bit of cramping."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Plan B late July because, like everyone, accidents happen. A couple of days later, I started to bleed (first a brown-reddish discharge, then it turned like a period) for a couple of days. It worried me because my period wasn't supposed to come until two weeks. After the two weeks came, I missed my regular period. I took about 4-5 pregnancy tests, ALL negative. I began feeling my breasts become very heavy, and I started to cramp, and sure enough, I thought I was pregnant. I began a parsley regimen to try to induce my period, but it did not work. I recounted the days I'm supposed to have my period, starting with the first time I bled, and my period came right on time after that! Overall, it works, you just need to be patient!"

For Emergency Contraception "Promised I would share my experience on taking Plan B One-Step if I had a good outcome, so here I am. On September 14th, I had protected sex. During the intercourse, at some point, the condom broke. From the time he last checked it to the time he noticed it broke, it was probably less than 2 minutes. He did not cum inside me, was just afraid of pre-cum. Of course, I freaked out since that was the first time that had happened to me AND it was my ovulation day. Took the pill within an hour. My cycle is 28 days, so I still had two weeks till my next period. Had slight cramping, bloating, and tender breasts. Had slight bleeding about 5 days leading up to my period, but I knew it was not my period. Took two pregnancy tests about 4 days apart, and both came back negative. FINALLY!!!! I got my period on October 12th, which was 7 days late, but I got it! Super happy!!!!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex, and he came in me the 2nd of March. The next day, I got so anxious I took Plan B 15 hours later. That week I had darker nipples and bumps on them, I swore I was pregnant. My period was supposed to come in 6 days from the 2nd. The pill delayed my period by just over a week. I was spotting on the 11th to 12th, kinda brown and red, and thought I was pregnant once again. (PLAN B MAKES U FEEL LIKE YOU'RE PREGNANT.) On the 13th, I was bleeding VERY heavy with lots of clots. Plan B can make your period VERY heavy. I bled for 9 days and thought something was wrong with me, but it was just all the Plan B. You can never get enough information about Plan B unless you talk to someone professional. Don’t stress yourself out, get off the internet - it will just make you more worried. I took a pregnancy test after feeling EVERY symptom of pregnancy, and I’m NOT PREGNANT. I am now on birth control and highly suggest getting on the pill, it is way better than relying on Plan B."
