For Emergency Contraception "I took the pill 20 or so hours after unprotected sex and when I woke up in the morning, I had almost immediate results. I woke up with lower abdominal pains (which is normal), and went about my daily routine. I started to experience a great amount of fatigue and I really honestly just wanted to sleep the whole day. I am telling you, the side effects are not too bad. Although, I missed my period. After I missed my period I began panicking but today I got my period! All is well, please do not stress out if you haven't gotten your period. Mine was 4 days late but this pill really works and it is worth the 50 or so dollars! :)"

For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice about 2-3 hours after unprotected sex. About 5 days later, I had a very, very light period that lasted for about 3 days. I was so scared it was implantation bleeding. Two weeks after, I had 2 days of a super light period again, then 3 days of an actual period. Not pregnant!"

For Emergency Contraception "When me Me and my boyfriend had sex the condom broke. It was also the day after my period ended. We bought this pill the next day and took it. The next day I threw up and was really nauseous. About a week later I had some spotting for about 5 days and it kinda freaked me about because I thought I might be pregnant. But after a really long month and a few weeks I finnaly got my period two days ago. This pill will work if you take it soon enough. Just be patient for your period. It might make it a few weeks late but don't panic. That's what made this whole experience bad because i was panicking. Good luck!!"

For Emergency Contraception "So I took the pill 10 hours after my little encounter with my best friend. It was my first time and I was shocked that I succumbed to the pressure. I experienced cramps and headaches the whole week after taking the pill. I was worried when my period didn't official start that Monday but I was three days late which was Thursday when I came on. I'm so happy and relieved. This pill works. So just calm down and breathe."

For Emergency Contraception "Ok so April 19th around 4am was when my man ejaculated in me. I came home from a girls fun “drinking” night. So yes I was pretty messed up. Well I was suppose to get my period on April 20th and it didn’t come. So I waited until the 21st and it still didn’t come so early morning around 9am on the 21st we went to get this pill and I took it immediately. Yes I started getting stomach pains, headaches, and toothaches for a few day’s everybody does not get all the exact same symptoms and everybody symptoms are not as severe. I was so paranoid all I did was look up reviews on this pill the whole time. So now April 27th came a week after my period was suppose to come down and here it was. It finally came and I’m sooo relieved. It’s March 2nd and it’s gotten very light should be gone by today. Ladies I am here to tell you just stay calm in this situation bc I think that I stressed myself out worse than anything for nothing. The pill DID work for me. Yaayy"

For Emergency Contraception "I had the biggest pregnancy scare of my life. I had sex with someone I had just met, about 2 weeks ago (the day before I was due to start my period, so I didn't think anything was wrong). The didn't ejaculate in me, but I had read enough forums of "pre-cum pregnancies" to be afraid. I took Next Choice One Dose the following day (about 48 hours after sex), and no side effects until 3 days after taking it, which, then I had nausea, no vomiting. In these last two weeks, I was getting freaked out because my period didn't come. Woke up this morning, though, and it's here! Don't be afraid, don't google anything. Just take this and remain calm. You'll be okay!"

For Emergency Contraception "My last period ended on June 14 then on the 30th I had unprotected sex, freaked out and took this pill. I was suppose to have my next period a week later and ended up having it 2 days earlier. I am pretty sure this means I am not pregnant but I still worry."

For Emergency Contraception "I took the pill 12 hours later at night. I was so scared I was going to be pregnant because I could have swore that I ovulated the day before. I felt that mini cramp. I have a period calendar, but my periods have been irregular so I wasn't sure when I actually ovulated. The next day, I was a little dizzy. I didn't want to move around as much because I was scared I would throw up. This lasted for 2 days. In the end, I didn't get pregnant! My cycles are irregular and my last cycle length was 36 days. This one was 29. "

For Emergency Contraception "Just took this a few weeks ago and I was extremely concerned about the side effects I was possibly going to have. Of course I researched on the internet and u always read horror stories that'll scare u to death. Anyway, I felt like I had no other choice so I took the pill very reluctantly. After about 7 hrs I did get nauseous, but never vomited. The nausea lasted for about a day. I was still able to eat a little though. I had the headache, but nothing more than a casual headache that pops up from time to time. Other than that, I was all good. So ladies, if u were like me and scared of the side effects, it was bearable and worth it considering the other alternative. Overall a pretty positive experience. Stay away from the horror stories."

For Emergency Contraception "My husband & I were intimate with no protection but we're not ready for a baby right now - I took Next Choice within 2hrs- I was very nervous about taking it since I had been on bc pills for 12yrs up til 2 months ago - I didn't want to mess myself up now that I was hormone free but I didn't want to be pregnant yet - I took ovulation test after and of course it was positive so I freaked - I didn't have ANY side effects at all during first day - I'm due to get my period in 4 days and I've been dizzy nauseous cramping and flushed all week so I'm convinced I'm pregnant - I just took test and it's negative :) I'm praying I'll get my period in a few days, if not then I'll take another test in and submit an update of whether it actually worked or not - so far so good!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took next choice within 24 hours of unprotected sex. I have a 2 year old already and I am not financially able to have another child right now. After taking it I felt fine, but 4 or 5 hours later I was so sleepy. I dozed off all evening and went to bed early that night. It's been about 3 weeks since I've taken it and I've been miserable! I've had stomach pains, nausea, and dizziness. 3 days afterwards I was having chest pains. I started my period today and although its really light, I feel horrible. I'm nauseated and my stomach is cramping something awful. It also feels like I'm having vertigo. I recommend staying away from this pill. Because even though it is exremely affective, I want to feel normal again"

For Emergency Contraception "I took the take action pill last year and I didn't research it or anything. I was really scared it wasn't going to be effective. My husband got it for me. I'm happy to say this pill didn't really have any scary or painful side effects the only thing I felt was maybe little cramps breast pain and that was it. I got my period 3 days after when I was supposed to get it, even though this pill is only effective during 72 hours (3 days) I took it the 4th day and everything felt normal. I took the take action pill last year July 4, 2014. I have recently took it again 2 weeks ago and I've so far just had headaches and breast pain."

For Emergency Contraception "I'm known to be a little paranoid, but everything turned out just fine. Took the pill about 7 hours after sexual intercourse, experienced side effects such as headaches, dizziness, and spotting a week later. After 8 days of experiencing the side effects, I finally got my period. Definitely recommend it!"

For Emergency Contraception "It all started when this guy I had sex with did it inside me, however I hadn't taken my birth control in about a year and it was on my most fertile days. (Miscommunication there) I was reading all of these reviews to help me calm down, which did help a little. Took the pill on the second day and three weeks later got my period on time! So thankful for this pill."

For Emergency Contraception "This pill gets the job done in preventing pregnancy but the hormones made my body crazy. I took this January 6 with no symptoms until a week later. I had high blood pressure, really bad dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, a slight fever, and really bad breast tenderness. I spotted from Jan 15-18, at first it was brown then a small amount of blood but not enough to fill up a pad. I thought this was my period but soon after the spotting stopped my breast became so sore and big. I had prominent veins on my breast and all over my body as if I was pregnant, back aches, insomnia, anxiety, depressed, small cramps on abdomen, and all over body cramps. My period was suppose to start Jan 22 but it never arrived. It is now March 13 and still no period."

For Emergency Contraception "I took Next Choice One dose after unprotected sex in late Dec 2014. I just had ended my period a couple days prior and probably was not ovulating but took it just in case. After taking the pill I experienced tiredness the first day. Awful cramps for a couple days after and then started to bleed for about 4 days which seemed like a period. This is a common side effect I read. I was also told if you bleed after the pill, that usually means it worked. My period ended up coming last night which is 8 days after my normal period date. I was stressed the whole time waiting for my period to come. Finally it's here. This pill works!"

For Emergency Contraception "This made me really sick. I would say go for plan b even if it is a little more expensive. Plan b didn't bother me when I took it before. But , with this medicine , I had all of the side effects you can imagine. But I am not pregnant , so the medication did do it's job. Just be wary that you can get upper respiratory infection, diarrhea, terrible cramps, & a lot of bleeding."

For Emergency Contraception "I'm writing this review just to ease the conscience of some of you out there but trust me this pill works. I've had a to take plan B and this pill and they both did the job. Granted with Plan B I had less side effects but this pill I took 12 hours after having unprotected sex. I wasn't at my most fertile time of the month so that probably lessened my chances even more of getting pregnant but I took it just to make sure. Right after I took it I was extremely exhausted and took a really long nap. The other side effect I had was cramping and an occasional headache but nothing too bad. I actually ended up getting my period a day early but the cramps were excruciating. Other than that I was fine. The earlier you take it the better ladies"

For Emergency Contraception "I had to take the morning after pill after I accidentally hooked up with my ex-boyfriend and he forgot that I do not take birth control. I was already 5 days since I finished my last period, and I knew I was close to my fertile time of the month so I decided to take the after pill the same morning on the 4/10. I didn't have many side effect for the first 4 days after I took the pill except some lower abdominal bloating. On the 5th day after taking the pill there was some light spotting and decided to pack some tampons as I headed to Coachella.. It has now been 7 days since my period has started and it is the heaviest period I have ever had. I've gone through 18 supers in 3 days. On day 14 and still bleeding. Be prepared for the blood bath!"

For Emergency Contraception "The pill does a great job of preventing pregnancy just like plan b will. I have taken this pill several times before but this time wow. This pill does a good job at mimicking pregnancy symptoms, but I am glad to say I am not pregnant. Had intercourse on January 6 but took the pill just in case of pre-ejaculate. My period was due Jan 22 but spotted earlier on Jan 15-18 brownish and then pink. I had real bad breast tenderness, dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, high blood pressure, headaches, back ache, prominent veins on boobs and all over body, muscle spams, cramps but no period, slight fever. It is now March 13 and yet no period, the pill threw my cycle off real bad."

For Emergency Contraception "Last week (night of May 10th/early May 11th) had some awesome sex, le condom broke though :( I took the pill around 6 the evening of the 12th. No crazy side effects - the first day I did feel a little nauseated, but I really think that was from stressin' out all day. I took it with food to keep my tummy happy, and for the time following I really focused on staying positive, eating healthy, getting good rest, & trusting the medicine to do its job. Yesterday I got my period (it was two days late but that's normal for me) it isn't any heavier than usual...I feel so relieved and thankful to live in a time where this is an option available to women! Hang in there & take good care of yourself, the pill works magic and it'll all turn out ok <3"

For Emergency Contraception "I was supposed to get my period on Sunday, had unprotected sex but used pull out method the following day (Monday). Same thing happened on that same week on Thursday. Period was 6 days late at that point & decided to take pill. Took the pill that next day (Friday). Still no period, took pregnancy test (Saturday) came out negative. After taking the pill I kept cramping and having leg pain but no period. Finally got my period which ended up being 12 days late. Pill did what it's supposed to do. Definitely experienced all the side effects directed which is okay."

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill 19 hours after our condom leaked. My period had just ended, so we wanted to be cautious. I took it on Jan 4, 5 days later I had some abdominal cramping, a severe headache and cramping. The bleeding and cramping lasted 4 1/2 days. I also had some very minor light headedness off on of during January, but I'm not sure if it was really caused by the pill or not. My next period was very late, I usually have a short cycle, about 25 days since I don't use birth control pills regularly it's length is irregular, but mine came a full 7 days after my longest cycle of 28 days. It started on Feb 2. I did have more cramping the week before it started. The cramping was not fun, but at least it worked."

For Emergency Contraception "THIS PILL WORKS! I had unprotected sex and took the pill 6hrs after. I got my period (very light) after 4 days of taking it which is just normal based on my cycle. Although I didn’t get my period for the next 2 months but I got it on the third month having my normal flow back again. Do not overthink, this pill is meant to work. Searching the web for answers won’t help that much. In fact, it will just increase your chances of overthinking. So yea. Just relax and hope for the best!"

For Emergency Contraception "I took this pill the same day after unprotected sex and was told that I would have horrible side effects and this was my first time ever taking an emergency contraceptive pill. After I took it, I kept waiting to feel pain but I had NO side effects at ALL which made me very happy. I'm going to take a test in the next week or two to see if it worked. "
