"I had the biggest pregnancy scare of my life. I had sex with someone I had just met about 2 weeks ago (the day before I was due to start my period, so I didn't think anything was wrong). They didn't ejaculate in me, but I had read enough forums on 'pre-cum pregnancies' to be afraid. I took Next Choice One Dose the following day (about 48 hours after sex), and no side effects until 3 days after taking it, which was when I had nausea, no vomiting. In these last two weeks, I was getting freaked out because my period didn't come. Woke up this morning, though, and it's here! Don't be afraid, don't Google anything. Just take this and remain calm. You'll be okay!"

"I took the pill 12 hours later at night. I was so scared I was going to be pregnant because I could have sworn that I ovulated the day before. I felt that mini cramp. I have a period calendar, but my periods have been irregular, so I wasn't sure when I actually ovulated. The next day, I was a little dizzy. I didn't want to move around as much because I was scared I would throw up. This lasted for 2 days. In the end, I didn't get pregnant! My cycles are irregular and my last cycle length was 36 days. This one was 29."

"So I took the pill 10 hours after my little encounter with my best friend. It was my first time, and I was shocked that I succumbed to the pressure. I experienced cramps and headaches the whole week after taking the pill. I was worried when my period didn't officially start that Monday, but I was three days late, which was Thursday when I came on. I'm so happy and relieved. This pill works. So just calm down and breathe."

"I'm 38, took the pill, had light cramping off and on but no period. A very light spotting that I wouldn't even consider a period. Now a month and a half later, still no period. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and all have been negative. I'm hoping I will start my period soon, but if not, I guess it's a trip to the doctor."

"I took the Take Action pill last year, and I didn't research it or anything. I was really scared it wasn't going to be effective. My husband got it for me. I'm happy to say this pill didn't really have any scary or painful side effects, the only thing I felt was maybe little cramps, breast pain, and that was it. I got my period 3 days after when I was supposed to get it, even though this pill is only effective during 72 hours (3 days). I took it the 4th day, and everything felt normal. I took the Take Action pill last year, July 4, 2014. I have recently taken it again 2 weeks ago, and I've so far just had headaches and breast pain."

"I took Next Choice within 24 hours of unprotected sex. I have a 2-year-old already, and I am not financially able to have another child right now. After taking it, I felt fine, but 4 or 5 hours later, I was so sleepy. I dozed off all evening and went to bed early that night. It's been about 3 weeks since I've taken it, and I've been miserable! I've had stomach pains, nausea, and dizziness. 3 days afterwards, I was having chest pains. I started my period today, and although it's really light, I feel horrible. I'm nauseated and my stomach is cramping something awful. It also feels like I'm having vertigo. I recommend staying away from this pill, because even though it is extremely effective, I want to feel normal again."

"Just took this a few weeks ago, and I was extremely concerned about the side effects I was possibly going to have. Of course, I researched on the internet, and you always read horror stories that'll scare you to death. Anyway, I felt like I had no other choice, so I took the pill very reluctantly. After about 7 hours, I did get nauseous, but never vomited. The nausea lasted for about a day. I was still able to eat a little, though. I had a headache, but nothing more than a casual headache that pops up from time to time. Other than that, I was all good. So ladies, if you were like me and scared of the side effects, it was bearable and worth it considering the other alternative. Overall, a pretty positive experience. Stay away from the horror stories."

"I took Next Choice One Dose after unprotected sex in late Dec 2014. I just had ended my period a couple of days prior and probably was not ovulating but took it just in case. After taking the pill, I experienced tiredness the first day, awful cramps for a couple of days after, and then started to bleed for about 4 days, which seemed like a period. This is a common side effect I read. I was also told if you bleed after the pill, that usually means it worked. My period ended up coming last night, which is 8 days after my normal period date. I was stressed the whole time waiting for my period to come. Finally, it's here. This pill works!"

"It all started when this guy I had sex with did it inside me, however, I hadn't taken my birth control in about a year, and it was on my most fertile days. (Miscommunication there.) I was reading all of these reviews to help me calm down, which did help a little. Took the pill on the second day, and three weeks later, I got my period on time! So thankful for this pill."

"Last week (night of May 10th/early May 11th) had some awesome sex, the condom broke though :( I took the pill around 6 in the evening of the 12th. No crazy side effects - the first day I did feel a little nauseated, but I really think that was from stressing out all day. I took it with food to keep my tummy happy, and for the time following, I really focused on staying positive, eating healthy, getting good rest, and trusting the medicine to do its job. Yesterday I got my period (it was two days late, but that's normal for me), it isn't any heavier than usual... I feel so relieved and thankful to live in a time where this is an option available to women! Hang in there and take good care of yourself, the pill works magic, and it'll all turn out okay <3"

"Ok, so April 19th around 4 a.m. was when my man ejaculated in me. I came home from a girls' fun “drinking” night. So yes, I was pretty messed up. Well, I was supposed to get my period on April 20th, and it didn’t come. So I waited until the 21st, and it still didn’t come, so early morning around 9 a.m. on the 21st, we went to get this pill and I took it immediately. Yes, I started getting stomach pains, headaches, and toothaches for a few days. Everybody does not get all the exact same symptoms, and everybody's symptoms are not as severe. I was so paranoid, all I did was look up reviews on this pill the whole time. So now April 27th came, a week after my period was supposed to come down, and here it was. It finally came, and I’m so relieved. It’s March 2nd, and it’s gotten very light and should be gone by today. Ladies, I am here to tell you just stay calm in this situation because I think that I stressed myself out worse than anything for nothing. The pill DID work for me."

"This made me really sick. I would say go for Plan B even if it is a little more expensive. Plan B didn't bother me when I took it before. But, with this medicine, I had all of the side effects you can imagine. But I am not pregnant, so the medication did do its job. Just be wary that you can get upper respiratory infection, diarrhea, terrible cramps, and a lot of bleeding."

"I'm writing this review just to ease the conscience of some of you out there, but trust me, this pill works. I've had to take Plan B and this pill, and they both did the job. Granted, with Plan B, I had fewer side effects, but this pill I took 12 hours after having unprotected sex. I wasn't at my most fertile time of the month, so that probably lessened my chances even more of getting pregnant, but I took it just to make sure. Right after I took it, I was extremely exhausted and took a really long nap. The other side effect I had was cramping and an occasional headache, but nothing too bad. I actually ended up getting my period a day early, but the cramps were excruciating. Other than that, I was fine. The earlier you take it, the better, ladies."

"I had to take the morning-after pill after I accidentally hooked up with my ex-boyfriend, and he forgot that I do not take birth control. I was already 5 days since I finished my last period, and I knew I was close to my fertile time of the month, so I decided to take the after pill the same morning on 4/10. I didn't have many side effects for the first 4 days after I took the pill, except some lower abdominal bloating. On the 5th day after taking the pill, there was some light spotting, and I decided to pack some tampons as I headed to Coachella. It has now been 7 days since my period started, and it is the heaviest period I have ever had. I've gone through 18 supers in 3 days. On day 14 and still bleeding. Be prepared for the bloodbath!"

"The pill does a great job of preventing pregnancy just like Plan B will. I have taken this pill several times before, but this time, wow. This pill does a good job at mimicking pregnancy symptoms, but I am glad to say I am not pregnant. Had intercourse on January 6 but took the pill just in case of pre-ejaculate. My period was due January 22 but spotted earlier on January 15-18, brownish and then pink. I had real bad breast tenderness, dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, high blood pressure, headaches, backache, prominent veins on boobs and all over body, muscle spasms, cramps, but no period, slight fever. It is now March 13 and yet no period, the pill threw my cycle off real bad."

"My last period ended on June 14, then on the 30th, I had unprotected sex, freaked out, and took this pill. I was supposed to have my next period a week later and ended up having it 2 days earlier. I am pretty sure this means I am not pregnant, but I still worry."

"I'm known to be a little paranoid, but everything turned out just fine. Took the pill about 7 hours after sexual intercourse, experienced side effects such as headaches, dizziness, and spotting a week later. After 8 days of experiencing the side effects, I finally got my period. Definitely recommend it!"

"I took this pill 19 hours after our condom leaked. My period had just ended, so we wanted to be cautious. I took it on Jan 4, 5 days later, I had some abdominal cramping, a severe headache, and cramping. The bleeding and cramping lasted 4 1/2 days. I also had some very minor light-headedness off and on during January, but I'm not sure if it was really caused by the pill or not. My next period was very late. I usually have a short cycle, about 25 days, since I don't use birth control pills regularly, its length is irregular, but mine came a full 7 days after my longest cycle of 28 days. It started on Feb 2. I did have more cramping the week before it started. The cramping was not fun, but at least it worked."

"This pill works! I had unprotected sex and took the pill 6 hours after. I got my period (very light) after 4 days of taking it, which is just normal based on my cycle. Although I didn’t get my period for the next 2 months, I got it on the third month, having my normal flow back again. Do not overthink, this pill is meant to work. Searching the web for answers won’t help that much. In fact, it will just increase your chances of overthinking. So, yeah. Just relax and hope for the best!"

"I am on the pill Trinessa but took an antibiotic, Ciprofloxacin, for a urinary tract infection a week before having sex with my boyfriend. He didn't use a condom, and I heard that antibiotics can make the pill less effective, so I was super paranoid and scared that I would get pregnant. So, about 16 hours after sex, I took Next Choice One Dose. Right after I took it, I had a headache, but that's it. Didn't have any other symptoms for several days after. Since I am on the pill, I know exactly when I am supposed to get my period. I felt menstrual cramps and fatigue for a couple of days before the day my period was supposed to start. I had light bleeding and cramps on the day it was due. Relax & good luck."

"My husband and I were intimate with no protection, but we're not ready for a baby right now. I took Next Choice within 2 hours. I was very nervous about taking it since I had been on birth control pills for 12 years up until 2 months ago. I didn't want to mess myself up now that I was hormone-free, but I didn't want to be pregnant yet. I took an ovulation test after, and of course, it was positive, so I freaked. I didn't have ANY side effects at all during the first day. I'm due to get my period in 4 days, and I've been dizzy, nauseous, cramping, and flushed all week, so I'm convinced I'm pregnant. I just took a test, and it's negative. :) I'm praying I'll get my period in a few days, if not, then I'll take another test and submit an update on whether it actually worked or not. So far, so good!"

"My boyfriend and I had sex with a condom, but I got paranoid the condom broke because I didn't get a good look at it afterward and took Next Choice two days later (the day I was supposed to get my period according to my app, but I knew I wasn't getting it that day, hence the paranoia). Had sore boobs throughout the week after, but I normally have sore boobs before my period, so I don't think this was fully due to the pill. Five days later, I now have my period! Looking back, I didn't need the pill probably, but it helped me feel better."

"I had unprotected sex on Feb 1, 2015, around 4 p.m. My periods have been irregular, and at this time, I haven't had my period in 3 months. The next day, I took the Next Choice One Dose pill at 5:30 p.m. (I took a pregnancy test before taking the Next Choice One Dose pill, and the test was negative.) That week (2nd-7th), I experienced pain in my lower back, painful cramps, dizziness, and headaches. On Feb 8, I got my period! It started off very heavy and got lighter at the end. During my period, I experienced the regular period symptoms and PMS. The period lasted for 5 days. I recommend this medication because it is cheap, and it works!"

"My boyfriend and I had one too many drinks, and we decided to have unprotected sex without using the pull-out method! Well, I took the pill about 10 hours after for my very first time. I had no major side effects after taking the pill. After an hour or two of taking the pill, I became very sleepy. I had my time of month a week earlier, and I was more hormonal than usual. I did not imagine the pill being a little expensive, but I rate it a 10 because it worked, and it is sure worth the cost."

"My girlfriend took this the night after our condom broke. She took the pill about 12 hours later, and it prevented the pregnancy. She said it made her a little dizzy when she took it, but it's well worth the minor side effects."
