"I've been using Soolantra for a few years with great success in lowering the inflammation in face, decreased redness and blushing. The first few days I used the Ivermectin cream I noticed the skin barrier on my flaking cheeks started to heal and my skin appeared much less inflamed with continued use. I'm a BIG blusher but was starting to get a few tiny red bumps on the bridge of my nose which went away in the first week of use. Soolantra has given me the freedom to live a normal life again."

"I've tried all the lotions and potions..and nothing helped. After decades of daily acne-like facial breakouts and cysts, my dermatologist offered me samples of Soolantra Cream to apply to my face daily. After just ONE application, all new breakouts stopped, and within a few weeks my skin was noticeably clearer. I've been using it daily for 3 months now and the improvement is remarkable. The cream is very lightweight, non-greasy, and easy to apply. It has NO fragrance or odor which is very important to me. My pharmacist said it was the first time she had dispensed it and asked me how it worked - Great! No side effects! The cost is very expensive though..around $330 for a 30 G tube . I paid $35 after insurance and a manufacturer's card."

"I’ve been using Soolantra for about three years. I used to get red cheeks and regular papules. Discovered when looking on NHS site a new cream, known as Ivermectin. This cream has helped me so much. I rarely get papules now. If I do, it’s just the odd tiny one. Redness has practically gone. I’d had rosacea for 7 years before this new cream. Nothing else worked. I use a tiny amount each night before bed. That’s all. Love it."

"Prescribed Soolantra by my dermatologist for rosacea. Day 1, entire face became inflamed. Bright red with a burning feeling. Day 2, entire face felt like it was on fire. Used ice to help cool my face. Day 3, entire face swelled up. Face and jawline was still red with burning feeling like a sun burn. Called my dermatologist about my symptoms. I was advised to discontinue use. Was told to used Hydrocortisone 1% twice a day for 3 days. Then call back to report. I also took some over the counter Benadryl. Feel better already. I had high hopes for Soolantra. I may have an allergy to it. Glad it works for some."

"Soolantra has been an absolute nightmare. I went to my dermatologist for general redness and the occasional pustule. Now, 4 weeks later, my conditions is AT LEAST 300% worse than when I started. My derm told me "It often gets worse before it gets better." but as I feared, it got worse only to get worse yet. Pustules, papules and cysts have popped up AND STAYED, reinfecting and reinfecting and now I look like I have a serious disease. In addition, I actually had to PAY for this nightmare substance!! Soolantra has made me agoraphobic. It may work for some, but it has completely wrecked me entirely."

"I've been using for two months and the results have been amazing. My skin is clearer and brighter than it has been for years. I use Fincea every morning and Soolantra every night. After the first massive die off and resulting flare up after two weeks it has been smooth sailing."

"My derm gave this to me on a whim, as a sample at my last visit. The nurse PA said her mom used it and it worked great........how many times have I hear that. I have to say this stuff is FANTASTIC. Not only have I not had any more cysts to form, it seems to have evened out my skin tone and texture. I was very surprised at the results. I have been using it for about 4 weeks......and I have three small pimples......PIMPLES....not cysts that are what "normal people" would get. I have been very pleased and I keep thinking it will fail.......so far so good. I would definitely recommend Soolantra"

"I'm 56 years old. I was diagnosed with rosacea a few years ago. It mostly affects my nose with break outs. I've tried everything. Watching my diet. Covered up in sun and cold. Took different supplements. Nothing. Used Azelaic Acid gel. Helped a little. Today I'm on day 2 of this product. I hope this helps. This condition has be so depressing"

"Wow. This drug was miraculous for me! I saw results after just a couple days, then at about 4 weeks my rosacea flared up badly. Two weeks later, it cleared up and my skin is almost 100% perfect! I also use finacea, in the morning. I use Soolantra at night. Finacea alone made me smoother but still red. I haven't had clear skin like this in 15 years since I first got diagnosed. Excellent!!!!"

"I have been using this for 2 years and it’s worked brilliantly for me. Prior to this I used other topical creams and antibiotics on and off. For 7 years. This is the only cream that has kept my skin clear for two years. Highly recommend you give it a go!"

"Here is my experience with Soolantra. Week 1 - 2 : Burning, itching, tingling. Sometimes very intense. Week 3 - 4 : Things got very bad during week three. I looked horrible. End of 4th week I started to noticed some slight improvement. Weeks 5 - 6 : Major improvement in skin texture, papules diminished, redness decreased. Week 7 - 8 : Very frustrating. Good one day, bad the next. Towards the end of week 8 things began to clear again. Week 9 - 12 : Continued improvement during the 3rd month with mostly good days. After 3 months I stopped using it daily and my skin has never looked this good. Redness has improved considerably but not 100%. Suggestion for those considering this medication is to start off using very little. And stick with it. Cost for 45 gram tube is $400 in Southern California. With my insurance it was $200. Adding the manufacturers coupon it was $75. After 6 months I just got my first refill. A little goes a long way. Good luck to all."

"I know that people read these reviews with doubt. I am also aware what works for one won't always work for another. Based on my own experience this cream has been amazing. I had, for months, persistent redness and lesion type marks on my cheek and they have dramatically cleared up since going on this cream a month ago. It's important to say I am using an anti-biotic (tetralysal) too but as I understand it (not that I am claiming great knowledge), it would take months for the anti-biotic to really kick in. On that basis I am attributing the immediate improvement to the cream. I am from Ireland and the cream is dear c. €40 but to be honest I'd have paid more for the improvement! I genuinely hope this helps someone else!"

"When first diagnosed w/rosacea I had the occasional papules/pustules, some redness. It was not bad enough that it bothered me that much. Fast forward about 7 years the outbreaks became unbearable. My face was in a constant state of rebellion with never ending break outs. So I tried azelaic acid...did NOTHING. Tried MetroGel...did NOTHING. I went to my PCP for this treatment since I did not have 6 months to wait to get back in with my dermatologist, I asked her if she would call in Soolantra as a last ditch effort & she did. I saw it especially helps those w/the papules/pustules. Give this a try if nothing else has worked. My face is 100% clear as long as I apply each night. This cream is life changing. Use coupon for savings on copay."

"I love this product. It helped reduce my rosacea outbreaks ( pimples) and dry flaky skin. Metrogel cream was just aweful for me but Rosiver ( the Canadian name) has helped my skin so much. I only get an occasional outbreak here and there, which may be related to hormones and or being exposed to the elements. I do have some rosacea redness but it has gotten much better. My doctor shared with me that only laser treatment will help with the redness. I started seeing amelioration within the first 2 months of using this cream and it only got better. After a year of using this product, I see BIG improvements. I'm so happy! I don't have to hide anymore and wear minimal makeup. One tube of this product will last you 3-4 months easily. Good luck!"

"So far, so good! I've had rosacea for over 20 years. I've had good days and bad days. It seemed like the bad days were coming more often, my confidence level plummeted, and the disease was affecting me at work, socially, etc. I was hesitant to try anything new from my dermatologist as it seemed like nothing was working. I figured that I had nothing to lose trying the Soolantra, as my doctor provided me with a few samples. Within days of using the Soolantra, my face looked and felt great! "After putting this cream on my face once a day just before bed for 3 months my rosacea has completely gone. Within two weeks the pustules had disappeared completely leaving only redness. At week 4 the rosacea returned for one week and then disappeared again. At month 3 I stopped using the cream and have been completely rosacea free for over a year. The redness is also almost completely gone now and my complexion is only slightly pink with no rough skin or bumps. Before this I tried 3 different oral antibiotics, finacea, metrogel, rosex, nicotine acid as well as over the counter pharmacist redness reduction creams. None of these helped until I was given soolantra."

"I highly recommend! Had bad flare-up with Rosacea both cheeks and my Dermatologist has me applying Soolantra and after just 3 days my Rosacea is 75% cleared. Med feels good and I have been very generous with applying even tho directions say a thin coating. At 72 with very fair skin IF I have almost any cosmetic procedure this will happen. I hope it works as well for you!"

"Soolantra has changed my life! I am 50 and about 5 years ago started breaking out with terrible pustules - up to 30 on my face at one time. They were like infections, sore and itchy, and would takes weeks to heal. My face was a mess and I was getting so depressed. Went to 2 Dermatologists and they put me on minocycline which cleared my skin up beautifully but gave me terrible side effects. Once I stopped taking them the pustules came back with a vengeance. Went to a third Dermatologist (in Geneva, Switzerland) and he instantly said you have Rosacea! The previous Dermatologists never said that! He put me on Soolantra at night and Rozex in the morning. My skin cleared very quickly now I rarely get a spot and if I do it clears in about 2 days. For me Soolantra is a miracle cream. I have been using it for one year now with continued great results. It does not cure the redness from my Rosacea but it has cleared the pustules. I’m a very happy!"

"I have had pretty bad rosacea all my life, which means redness AND those small red acne scar marks. It was mainly all over my cheeks. I've tried so much different creams and honestly half of them I wasn't consistent with because I was convinced nothing was ever going to help my face. I was prescribed Soolantra to see if it can help combat my redness and the acne marks. After the first night I used it, my face was flushed red and BURNING. After a couple of days, I didn't recognize my skin.. I had so much whiteheads, the texture was rough and I had red dots everywhere. I was honestly freaking out because my skin never was THAT bad. But I decided to read the reviews and I saw everyone saying that they had similar symptoms and to not give up, to stick by it because it DOES work. I somehow managed to stick to it and stay consistent and when I tell you my skin NEVER looked like this before.. I mean it. KEEP TAKING IT AND DONT GIVE UP!!!!!! IT IS WORTH IT!!!!"

"Literature on Soolantra says its works for 80% of users. And for that 80% it is significantly more effective than other prescribed treatments. Fortunately I am part of the 80%. For me, truly great success and no side effects. (The same goes for my two brothers) On another site I gave a similar review, but my youngest brother said to add, "Soolantra works for him were everything else failed.""

"I am 57 and have had rosacea for many years, my father also had it. I have always had a face that went red easily, with alcohol, coffee, mild exercise etc but started getting a few pustules and small lumps on forehead cheeks after a few wines over 20 yrs ago. Not severe but enough to be noticed and to try varies antibiotic creams, tablets and laser with varying degrees of short term success. I couldn't even pluck the top of eyebrows without having an outbreak! My skin is generally good as minimal other issues growing up and rarely use any makeup. Obviously this cream has been just what I needed. 10 mths ago, after using it for a month sparingly for @3-4 weeks HAVE NOT HAD A SINGLE OUTBREAK!!! Where has this been all my life. I now just apply a little twice a week and still have a 1/3 of 30g tube left ! Hope u have type of rosacea that responds too "

"I have suffered from papulopustular rosacea for years. I was initially prescribed Met gel, which cleared it up, but it came back worse than ever. Using Met gel only dried my skin and made it worse. I bought Soolantra out of desperation and it has worked a treat. Have been using it for two weeks once at night and I currently have no white heads! My skin is also so smooth and clear now. It does get worse before it gets better, but this may be because it's killing all the Dermodex mites and their life cycle including eggs is 3 weeks."

"Possibly Soolantra is only thing to properly clear my rosacea up. First 8 days were awful as my skin was red and crusting over. Day 9 all dried up , day 10 woke up to clearer skin. Day 11 and 12 redness subsiding. I'll never touch antibiotics again as it ruins your body. Use omega 3 with cold liver oil tablet, apple cider vinegar with mother (natural thing in it) plus antihistamine. Good luck to you all."

"I took this on recommendation of my doctor & my rosacea had really cleared up after 15% mandelic acid serum since April 2018 & pretty much weaned myself off the antibiotics. Stopped dairy&sugar too stopped getting major red bumps& the mandelic acid really took the redness away but still had minor bump& slight redness. Took soolantra July 25 only once & had a bad feeling after reading things here. Had mild rosacea & mad at myself for not researching it first. It is now 3 weeks later& my face has major redness & cystic acne bumps with one between eyes that is painful to touch. Worked so hard to clear up skin & one applic of this stuff and I’m ruined. Once the mites die off in the third week will these bumps keep reoccurring after I stopped the medication? Or is this die off a one time thing once you stop? I had these mites under control & now I look worse than ever. Can someone please tell me if they stopped using it and what happened? I haven’t had bad rosacea like this in 5 years!"
