"I was given this drug while in atrial fib. Nothing happened for 5 minutes or so, then my heartbeat began to 'try' to return to normal. Altogether, it took 10 minutes before I returned to a fully normal heartbeat. No pain, no problem. There were a few palpitations, but they quickly faded. For me, this drug is a godsend. I had an experienced cardiologist standing by with a defib unit just in case. This drug's effectiveness has given me a new lease on life. Now I have a solution in hand, so AF isn't nearly as frightening as it used to be. Hope you have the same experience."
