"The worst thing about Flonase is that you have to try it for a full week to test whether it works. I just finished that week. It did not work, and I slept terribly because I couldn't breathe. I have a narrow nasal passageway. Flonase did not work."

"I suffer from serious seasonal allergies and have regular headaches, congestion, itchy eyes, you name it. OTC drugs provide temporary relief until I tried Flonase. I am not exaggerating saying this is a miracle drug. After the first couple of days, it had cleared out my sinuses so well, I did not realize how bad they were. I did two sprays per nostril for two weeks and now use it when I feel congestion, sneezing, headache, or itchy eyes are coming on. This is the first season I have had an allergy-free season. I just discovered I am covered with a prescription so now I don't have to pay for it."

"I would rate this a 0 if it were an option. Biggest waste of money. It says 60 doses, but yet you have to spray it twice before every use to have a steady mist. That being said, you only get about 30 doses if you're lucky. I have always used Afrin and I will continue to use it."

"I love Flonase. It works really well for controlling my seasonal allergies. You have to use it for a few days before you get the full effect, but then, for me, it pretty much stops my sneezing and runny nose. Once in a while, I'll sneeze, but maybe once a day, and my nose doesn't run. Sometimes my eyes will start itching really bad, and I know you shouldn't do this, but I pat a little bit of Flonase into the corners of my eyes, and that stops the itching. I don't have any side effects using Flonase. I also love their new recyclable paper packaging. Wish more companies would follow their lead!"

"I had been taking a spray that worked very well against the regular spring allergens as well as the smoke pollution from Central America, but it reacted after a short time with what I call the Afrin effect where wears off and leaves you worse than before. My wife (smarter than I) got some Claritin and Flonase and told me to use one of each in the morning and nothing else. It worked and I've been fine ever since."

"I have been on Flonase off and on, but mostly on, for almost 20 years. It works wonders for my allergies, no side effects, and best of all, no pills."

"Flonase will not dispense. You have to VERY vigorously shake the container. The one in 20 times it will dispense does offer some relief. It is very difficult to use Flonase."

"I have ETD since my first septoplasty. Doctors have been pushing corticosteroids to treat this condition. I, for one, do not care for steroids at all. My biggest concern is the weight gain and fatigue. It does help somewhat to provide relief but the side effects outweigh the benefit. I've been doing research online and read about Thymus glandular supplements for hay fever and allergies. I'm willing to try anything natural if it works without bad side effects."
