"Started taking this for osteoarthritis on advice from my pain doctor. My primary wanted me to try another statin, but the last one gave me terrible joint pain. I have had 0 side effects and it lowered my LDL from 75 to 59. That's a whopping 30% reduction which is better than some statins. It also lowered my triglycerides 50%. I know most people only get a 10% reduction, but I read research that indicated those with normal triglycerides can get a 20% or more lowering of LDL with this med. I am very happy with the results. Helped me reach my LDL target without a statin."
