For Birth Control "I was switched to Tri-Lo-Mili after a terrible experience with Tri-Femynor. I took a 4-month break between birth control pills so I could assess the differences. So far, more physical side effects than mental. Pros of it: no mental/emotional health issues, which was my main problem with my last pill. No suicidal thoughts, no emotional numbness, no anxiety. Haven’t gotten pregnant. Boobs are huge. Cons: (at least in my experience) I’ve been spotting to heavy-ish bleeding for almost a month now, acne came back but not too bad, have noticed an increase in hair loss, appetite changes (some days I could eat a cow, some days I have no interest in eating at all), nausea in the 3rd week, I had a bad yeast infection in the first month, and I get a dry rash on my neck in the 3rd week. I’d like to switch to another pill, but I don’t want to risk my mental health when I know this pill doesn’t affect it, so I deal with the side effects :/"

For Birth Control "Tri-Lo-Mili is the worst birth control I've ever been on. I have been irregular for a very long time now, and I don't know what caused it. I was on Nexplanon for almost a year until the bar bent in my arm and made my left hand go numb, so I got it removed. I stopped taking BC for a few years. I've been super irregular-getting my period 2x in one month, then not at all for a month. I've never been diagnosed with PCOS, but I do get rotating cysts on left/right ovaries every month. I just started this BC on May 4th because my doc asked me to wait until I got my period. I didn't have a period in April other than one day, which was the end of my March cycle. I started on the 4th, like I said, and I have been bleeding with severe cramping for 23 days now! My period should've ended on the 11th-it did for the most part, except I've had cramping severely and some blood when I wiped. Starting on the 19th, I began to bleed heavy and soaking through tampons now! I'm so concerned about this! Never again!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking this for a few months now, and so far it’s been decent! After the first period I got with it, I’ve decided to skip my period, and it’s been wonderful. The first month, I had horrible nausea and headaches, but that went away by month two, aside from the random spat of nausea that usually goes away in an hour or so. Sex drive hasn’t changed, but I am dryer than usual, which is a downside for sure. Definitely not the worst birth control I’ve ever taken, and I feel like mentally I’m better than I was before taking!"

For Birth Control "I started on Tri-Lo Sprintec and now take Tri-Lo Mili (the same pill, just different names) for about 4 and 1/2 years now. Since I started, it has been a great experience. I went on it to balance my hormones and get rid of my cystic acne, which was very bad at the time. Within about 6 months, my skin was flawless. I had 0 symptoms, and my periods were regular and on time. Fast forward to now, I still get my period the same day every single month. Some months are better than others as far as cramping + bleeding, but still manageable. I also went on this pill to prevent ovarian cysts from bursting, and I have been free of pain since. I get sensitive + emotional at times of my cycle, but I have been on this pill for a long time so it is hard to say if this is a side effect anymore. Overall, limited side effects, for SURE worth it if you struggle with cystic acne, this pill literally evaporated it off my face!!"

For Birth Control "I've used Tri-Lo-Mili in 2013 and now again in 2025. After having my child, I was put on this and I lost 90 lbs in 3 months on this medication. I've heard it can make you gain or lose, depends on you. Other birth control I've used, like Lo Loestrin Fe, made me gain 20 lbs over a year. I have had little to no issues with Tri-Lo-Mili. Love this birth control, but do not take the morning-after pill if on this if you have blood pressure problems or have had issues with blood pressure because it will elevate it to hypertension. So be prepared for that. Other than that, no issues. Remember, birth control is only effective as you are taking it. I have even used this birth control as a morning-after pill. To do so, two white pills every 12 hrs for two days; it works."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this for a little over one month. Taking it for birth control and to treat PCOS symptoms. The only thing that I’ve noticed personally and in these reviews is that the first month on it is absolutely awful. Well, like there’s good and bad. Good: I’m not pregnant, but bad: everything feels over-exaggerated. Emotionally, I had my first real conflict with my partner because of it, because it made me feel so emotional and so short-tempered. I literally yelled at my partner because he doesn’t wipe down the kitchen counters correctly. (Yes, I really did that). But yeah, I recommend. I like not being pregnant, and this pill hasn’t made me gain weight other than the weight from emotionally eating at a Chili's on a Monday night. I will say the emotions will ramp up the last four pills in the pack, so I’d point that out for your partner to schedule his hunting trips accordingly."

For Birth Control "This stuff is awful. I loved my other birth control, but this stuff makes me feel so gross. Haven't felt good for days. Would NOT recommend at all!!!!!"

For Birth Control "I was on this birth control for about a year and a half. For the first few months, I noticed increasing mood swings during that time of the month. Eventually, my libido became almost nonexistent, and my mood entirely changed. I became pretty irregular as well. Everyone is different, but I have since switched to Blisovi Fe due to being unable to handle the side effects of the other."
