For Birth Control "I've been on the Ortho Evra for 2 weeks. I've noticed that my boobs are getting very sore, and I get headaches every now and then. I've gained weight, but I haven't bled since I've had the patch on. I will update as I notice anything else. Question, if anyone can answer: for some reason, it may be how I sleep, but my patch gets a crease in it. Does that make it any less effective? As I put mine on my thigh?"

For Birth Control "I started taking the patch because I thought it would be much easier than taking a pill every day at a certain time, and it sure is. Personally, I do not experience many side effects at all. When I'm on my period week, I do experience more headaches, but I use the patches for 3 months straight, so I only have a period every 3 months. I have recently had some issues with them staying on, I always applied them to my behind, but now I've started putting them on my arm. I would recommend them, I think they are much more convenient than a lot of other forms of birth control."

For Birth Control "Was living in a constant state of severe PMS on the pill, and after 24 hours of starting the patch, those awful PMS symptoms had completely disappeared. I felt slightly nauseated when starting the first week, but really nothing like what PMS causes me! I feel so much more in control and relieved with these patches. Previous contraceptives always caused headaches, mood swings, and weight gain. Not this one."

For Birth Control "I have cramps now and get daily headaches. I truly believe it's from this patch. I will finish this month then maybe go to Minastrin, which is less estrogen. I haven't decided yet. I would love to just do natural family planning, side effects aren't worth it."

For Birth Control "Its main idea works great. I don't have to worry about pregnancy. On the negative side, I get constant headaches, nausea, and vomiting, and it is hard to sleep. Been using it for 2 months."
For Birth Control "My wife was on continuous patches, and she has breakthrough bleeding 365 days a year, nausea, throwing up, headaches, lower sex drive, and extreme pain in her stomach, which had her wake up in her sleep and crying out in pain, especially during her period when not doing the 4th week. The doctors didn't know what it was, so they gave her an unconfirmed diagnosis because they couldn't confirm anything else, but she's decided to discontinue the patch, and so far, all of the above side effects have subsided almost completely."
