For Dry Skin "The same experience everyone is having. I was worried there for a minute because I couldn't find any answers to why I was getting the same issues some of these ladies had. There is something in this product that is making us allergic to it. Yes, it dried out my lips so bad. Yes, they got red, swollen, and whatever chemical is in this lip balm is no good. I'm still recovering from burnt lips. This product needs to be removed immediately from every store that sells this awful product."

For Dry Skin "I used this type of Blistex in December 2021 and again recently, and both times woke up with swollen lips and a round ring rash on my lips and skin around it. I didn’t make the connection the first time as I had other things going on. I threw it out. This type of dry skin takes weeks to heal. Look into what is the raspberry lemonade flavor. It is very concerning."

For Dry Skin "I always wear some sort of chapstick and have never had any problems, nor am I allergic to anything that I know of anyway. Lol A couple of months ago, I bought a 3-pack of the Blistex Fruit Smoothies. It smelled nice and seemed fine going on, until I woke up with swollen lips. I didn't even realize it was THAT balm causing it for a day or two since I use a bunch of different chapsticks and just grab whatever happens to be in arm's reach. Nevertheless, the swelling went down a day or so after I stopped using it, but the skin on my lips would NOT stop sloughing off, constantly and heavily for about two weeks. Because of that, they hurt REALLY badly. Btw, I wasn't picking at peeling skin. The skin was literally coming off on its own. My lips only seemed to improve after I started using O'Keefe's Lip Repair Balm, but that could've just been a coincidence. I still don't know exactly what in the Blistex caused that reaction, but I definitely don't plan on ever using it again!"

For Dry Skin "My sister and I always use Blistex medicated lip ointment for years and years, and about two months ago my sister's lips became swollen and she had a burning sensation. A few days ago, I bought a new tube, and the same thing happened to me. I think you have a batch with too much medication in it."

For Dry Skin "I had a bad allergic reaction to this. I used the Blistex Raspberry Lemonade lip balm, and instantly my lips began itching. The next day, I woke up with swollen, bumpy, itchy lips, chin, and neck. My airways also started to close. Check the ingredients on this before using."
