For Hepatitis C "I am on day 12 of Zepatier. I have had to tweak the times of when I take the medication and have found that 7 pm is the best for me. I do experience muscle ache, headache, and fatigue when I take it. I sleep like a log. This way, I am able to enjoy the day without those side effects. Yesterday was the first day I felt results. I was thrilled! I haven't had that kind of energy or clarity of the brain for so long, I don't remember! It is kicking in now, obviously. I woke this morning clear, happy, and optimistic. Oh, happy day! I realize I will have to go through a bit of discomfort for a few hours a day. And it really isn't that bad at all. I hope things continue this way. Over the moon. Counting the days until I get my first bloodwork."

For Hepatitis C "End of week 4 and mild side effects like fatigue and stomach cramps. Diarrhea subsided also, I feel pretty good, but a couple of days out of the week it feels like my heart is beating slow and I feel lightheaded, nauseous, headache, and whole body ache."

For Hepatitis C "Finished treatment almost a week ago. Undetectable virus load two weeks into treatment. Virus remains undetectable. Odd mild headache which lasted a couple of minutes, but took no medication whatsoever, avoiding possible interaction. I've had no other side effects. I continue working and living my normal life. I eat plenty of vegetables; smoothie made of fresh bananas, blackberries, blueberries, mango, and kiwis. I kept the weight at bay and drink fresh beetroot with green apple. No alcohol or fried foods, and drank lukewarm water mixed with fresh lemon juice, and swallowed raw garlic on an empty stomach. Contaminated illness during my childhood. Don't despair. Treatment works, and it's bearable. Best to you all."

For Hepatitis C "I've just finished 12 weeks of Zepatier for the treatment of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), and the most difficult things to deal with were headaches and fatigue. I also had sore throats as well, which only lasted a day or two. My blood tests at 4 weeks showed zero virus, and I am looking forward to seeing what my next blood test will show. I will update my results when they are through."

For Hepatitis C "Told my doctor I was not feeling good, blood work showed ALT level not good, but no hep C to be found. Went back with more and more complaints, and after 3 tests 4 weeks later, Hep C showed up. Two weeks later, I was in a Hep C study, so I did not have to pay for the medication. First 3 days on Zepatier, I was like new, so much energy, after that, it went down. Muscle pain, sleepy, headache, skin problems, nervous system problems. The same I was feeling before the treatment, so at this point, I don't know if it's working, maybe it's the side effects now! I'm now on day 21, and my doctor told me I should definitely feel better after 4 weeks, and maybe not! It's stressful because you don't really have somebody to talk to. Keep you posted."

For Hepatitis C "I am a 20-year-old female, one of the youngest patients my doctor has ever treated! Thankfully, being pregnant helped me detect it! I'm on my 3rd week of treatment with Zepatier. The first 2 weeks have been fine, with a few headaches here and there, but now, in the 3rd week, I've become really ill. I'm not 100% sure it's from the medication, but I can't think of anything else it could be, and nobody else is ill. I have a really sore throat and dry mouth, my joints hurt, and I just have no energy! Luckily, I've not been sick, but I'm on day 2 of this illness, so it could go anywhere! I'm going to speak to my doctor on Monday if I'm no better and keep you updated, but I will keep on my medication so I can fight this!"

For Hepatitis C "I have 17 days left on a 12-week study. I got the medications free as I am on a study comparing Zepatier and Harvoni. I take the Zepatier. I don't have my blood drawn until the end of 12 weeks. Initially, I thought I had a placebo. Into week 6, I experienced headaches, fatigue, hives, heartburn, hair loss, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, weakness, and irritability."

For Hepatitis C "Finished treatment 5 months ago. I’m cured with flying colors. Still experiencing headaches, hip pain for some time, but now it’s over. Main problem is my chest area. I feel pain there and discomfort. My esophagus and throat are a bit funny. Will wait a bit longer until looking for help. Acid reflux seems to be worse. It wasn’t that bad before treatment. Also, a few times per month, extreme fatigue when I have to lie down and stay home. I’m happy with results, but not happy with my health at all."

For Hepatitis C "I started Zepatier in July 2016 and completed the 12-week program. I did have well exceeding a headache and fatigue, but that only lasted for the first few weeks. I found that, while taking the medication, you kind of feel a little off, not yourself, but I continued to go to work throughout the program. My 4-week blood work came back virus not detected, as did my 8-week and 12-week end of treatment. I just received my 6-month blood work, and the virus is still not detected. I was a little worried when I first started taking this medication about side effects and the final outcome, but as I look back now, the decision was the right one, and the outcome was what I hoped for."
