For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medication is the only medication on the market that has allowed me to live my normal life. I started taking it around twelve weeks pregnant because I was losing weight rapidly and couldn't even keep sips of water down. At first, I had to take two at night and one in the morning to function. I am now fourteen weeks and have been getting by on only two a day. I tried not taking any at all today, and I was great up until 9 pm, then I got so sick I threw my whole dinner up... unexpectedly. Immediately took two pills and now I feel much better. The only downside is how expensive this medication is. It cost me $186 per bottle of 100."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Diclegis is by far the best medicine for morning sickness. I suffered with all my pregnancies (Hyperemesis Gravidarum), which is severe morning sickness. With this pregnancy, I was prescribed Diclegis, which works wonders. Not even drowsy! No nausea or vomiting. I love this medicine, it is a lifesaver and works great and is completely safe. Glad the FDA put it back on the market."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I am 7 weeks pregnant, my midwife gave me samples of Diclegis 5 days ago. Previous to trying them, I had nonstop nausea, vomiting, weakness, truly just felt like death! Day 1 of Diclegis, I was able to wake up, be semi-functional enough to where I was able to get ready for work pretty comfortably, but by mid-morning, all the symptoms came back. On day 3, I added 2 pills at night, 1 in the morning, and 1 in the afternoon, and I can tell you it is a miracle drug! It does take a few days to start working at its full capacity, but after the first few days, you feel almost back to normal! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I started taking this during the first trimester. I'm usually against taking medicine, but I was so sick. So, I figured it was worth a try. At first, I didn't notice any change. I mean, I was still slightly sick. I was expecting the nausea to disappear completely like Zofran would have done. I kind of thought it wasn't working, so I decided to stop taking it... big mistake... my nausea was severe once I stopped taking it. I decided to give it another go. By comparison, I could tell that it was working. I still feel tired, and certain things still make me feel sick (like strong smells and certain foods), but I am nowhere near as sick as I would be if I stopped taking it. I can totally tell if I miss a dose."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "My first trimester of pregnancy has been entirely brutal. Nausea from the time I woke up until I fell asleep, and sometimes even waking up to vomit. Many days I vomited 4-5 times a day. This medicine is not a “cure-all,” but it has helped me immensely. The drowsiness in the mornings is difficult, but it was way less severe than my nausea. This medication has made me feel slightly human again. Many of my other terrible symptoms remain, but my nausea is under much better control with this drug."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This medicine is awful! I’m 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd pregnancy, and this was the first time I had experienced nausea. My doctor gave me some samples, and the first night was wonderful! After a couple of days, I noticed I was zombie-like and could hardly get out of bed! I felt delirious and drugged! I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody that works, has kids, or who doesn’t want to be groggy all day long!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I took three. 1 in the morning, 1 around 1 p.m., and the nausea didn't stop, so I took another one. My doctor said I should take 1 before every meal and 2 before bed or as needed. The label says take 2 pills before meals. My point being, it made me feel horrible. It made me feel drugged up. I didn't want to move, I felt like I want to throw up and go #2 and just get out of my body. I'm never taking that again. It's 9:30 p.m., and I still feel drugged up. This drug is an antihistamine and messes with your brain. I should've read about it before taking it. Although I'm 8 weeks pregnant and nauseous all day, and my doctor said it is given to all OB patients, so I trusted him."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I hate this drug! I feel exhausted all the time on it, and it does not help at all! My doctor told me I can no longer take Zofran during the first trimester due to a study that said there might be issues, so she put me on Diclegis first. I have tried it for 2 weeks and am absolutely miserable! I am still throwing up and have nausea all day and night. I have always had horrible morning sickness and was hoping this would work. Sadly, it does not, all it does is make me want to sleep all day long! To make things worse, even with my insurance covering most of the cost, it still costs over $80.00 for a month’s supply. That is crazy!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Absolutely improved my pregnancy experience by reducing my nausea and vomiting. I was prescribed 2 tablets before bed, 1 in the morning, and 1 mid-day because I was extremely sick. They always recommended it to be taken on an empty stomach. I only took 2 before bed with food (because I refuse to take any pill on an empty stomach), and it worked wonders. If I ever forgot to take them, I was guaranteed a horrible day."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I started out taking 2 nightly, but this medicine seemed to make me so tired I could barely function. I am now taking just 1 a night, and even though I still feel a little nausea, it's not all day, and my vomiting has gone away for the most part. It wasn't expensive for me. My insurance did not cover this drug, but I only had to pay $40 for 60 pills. It's a small price to pay for me right now!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "As a pregnant, working mom of a toddler, this medicine is my enemy. I would rather feel the nausea than feel like I can't lift my head off the pillow. I have taken just one before bed a few nights in the last week, and each time I do, I feel like I have the worst hangover the next day. I can't function. I don't recommend it to anyone unless they have their entire pregnancy to hibernate."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "This is my third pregnancy. My previous pregnancies, I had horrible nausea and vomiting. Took Zofran from the time I found out I was pregnant until the day I gave birth. With this pregnancy, however, Zofran wasn't working for nothing!!! Got prescribed Diclegis and took 1 at night (last night), made me very sleepy. Woke up and felt a million times better, though. I haven't felt like this in months! I finally feel normal! This is a lifesaver, my copay was $50, but it was worth every dollar! It's now 8:30 pm the next day, and I still feel pretty good off last night's pill. It did put me out like a light, but reading other reviews, the drowsiness shouldn't last long."

For Nausea/Vomiting "After horrible all-day nausea (no vomiting), I was prescribed Diclegis by my doctor. It felt like a miracle drug. I was able to enjoy life again and not be bedridden from severe nausea. I remember looking the drug up online before I got it, and I hesitated to try it based on reviews - DON'T. It works differently for everyone. I tried every natural remedy. This was the only thing that made the biggest difference - I would still feel some nausea towards the end of the day, but it was a night-and-day difference from before. I was not drowsy, as I feared on this drug, and I've been able to wean off it (took 4 a day, then just 2 every evening) after 13 weeks. STOP reading reviews and just try it."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I had extreme nausea, couldn't keep water down, much less any kind of food. I tried 4 different medications before the Diclegis. Only one of those 4 worked, but I felt so drugged, and I was slurring my words. I'm extremely tired with the Diclegis, but I can keep some food and water down. I'm taking 2 at night, 1 in the morning, and 1 at noon. My house is messy a lot, and my 2-year-old sometimes wears pajamas all day because I'm so tired. It's not a perfect medicine, but it's better than not being able to walk across the room without almost fainting and going to the ER once a week for IV fluids and nutrition."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Best medication ever! I started taking it at 9 weeks after losing 10 lbs. I'm on my 17 wks and tried to stop it for one day to limit the use, but the nausea is still going. So I guess I'll keep using this medication because it's the only thing that seems to help. 100% with only 2 tablets at night."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "With my 1st pregnancy, I suffered from severe morning sickness to the point that I lost a significant amount of weight. With my second pregnancy, I started getting very sick again and mentioned it to a nurse at my OB-GYN office, and she prescribed me Diclegis. Prior to that, I had tried many other homeopathic solutions such as the Sea Bands and ginger. None of these worked for me. The Diclegis worked from the morning after I first took it until now. At 12 weeks pregnant, I thought I might be out of the woods, so I stopped taking the Diclegis last night. I have been nauseous all day and vomiting! It is obvious that these meds work. I will be taking them again for the next 2 weeks. Only complaint is I'm more fatigued than usual when taking it."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was given vitamin B6 and Unisom, which ended up making me more sick because I hated the smell of my own saliva after taking them. Then, the worst medicine on the planet called metoclopramide “Reglan,” which doesn’t work at all. Finally, after I lost 4 kg while constantly throwing up, my doc decided to put me on Diclegis, and ladies, don’t read negative comments, give it a try and you will forget nausea. They say it takes 5-7 hours to start kicking in, but for me, it took 4 hours. After those final four hours, I felt light and happy again. I am back in the kitchen, back on my feet, eating healthy fruits and vegetables. I couldn’t resist the smell of onion frying or baking bread with Reglan and other meds, but now I don’t even feel the smell of onion or biryanis being cooked constantly in the house... love him or her, whoever invented this formula."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Diclegis is a lifesaver! Starting at week 6, I had terrible nausea and vomiting. It was so debilitating, I could barely keep anything down or function normally. About two weeks ago, my doctor prescribed me Diclegis 4x a day, and it's been a game changer. The only thing I've noticed is that I start to feel really sick again if I miss a dose or if I take the medication late, but other than that, I'm feeling great!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Just started this medication and have had a great improvement! I’m taking the full 4-pill dosage. I was a regular Unisom user before taking this, so I do not find it makes me very drowsy, maybe a little midday, but who doesn’t get tired in the afternoon? Totally worth it to not feel sick and miserable - I had moderate to severe all-day nausea, no vomiting. I’m trying to get on a schedule of taking all 4 spread out (vs. two at bedtime) to get really consistent levels, since it does not make me very drowsy. This medicine helps me get through the day with my toddler! It is a little expensive, but worth it for me, feeling sick is the worst. Together with some lemon candies and magnesium spray for random waves of nausea, it’s a good combo."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I was prescribed this by my OB-GYN and began the medicine as instructed with 2 at night and 1 the next morning. I woke up in the morning feeling angry and frustrated and was taking it out on my 2-year-old and husband. I continued about my morning and took my daughter to daycare and realized something was not right about me. I was dizzy and feeling groggy and irritated. I was out of it for the rest of the day. I discontinued using the medicine and called my OB-GYN the next day, who told me I had a bad reaction to the medicine. Bad stuff for me and now still living with the nausea and sickness versus feeling all of that from the medicine."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Overall, Diclegis has definitely reduced my nausea, so that I don't want to die 24/7. I can still notice the nausea some, especially when it gets closer to the next dosage. I am on 4 a day. It took two days to lessen the nausea, and I've still been vomiting once a day on average, and holding more back. I still need to keep my stomach full, but at least I can drink sips of water and eat some food, other than only toast. The first three days, I was a zombie. Now I can stay awake with caffeine in the morning, a nap in the afternoon. I don't know if I can return to work because I am so sleepy, which is the major negative. I was also constipated the first several days. I hate taking medicine, but I have two children to care for and was getting dehydrated."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "I'm pregnant with twins, and after 6 weeks, I started having severe nausea, and at 10 weeks, the vomiting came along. My doctor prescribed Diclegis. It works, the only downfall is the aftertaste. I have this horribly bitter taste in my mouth. I don't even know which is better: the nausea or the bitter taste."

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "Before I took this medicine, I was miserable. I didn’t have any morning sickness really in the first trimester, but when the second one hit, I was throwing up multiple times a day and through the night as well. Pedialyte and body armor were my go-to and still didn’t work. Finally, I took this. I take 2 at night, and it kicks in. Once it’s time to take it again, my body usually knows because I start getting nauseous all over again as if it weren’t in my body. I sleep better. It’s amazing, and I hope the effects never wear off. I can actually eat now."

For Nausea/Vomiting "After 5 weeks of uncontrollable vomiting and severe dehydration, I was admitted to the hospital for a week for hyperemesis. They gave me Zofran, which helped with nausea, but after research I decided to stop that, and then my OB then prescribed Diclegis. It’s not as strong as Zofran, no, but it has definitely helped me keep things down!!!"

For Nausea/Vomiting of Pregnancy "At first, the Diclegis seemed to work somewhat. I was no longer vomiting, though I was still gagging at times, but I was glad to be able to keep my food down. However, now I'm in my 2nd trimester at nearly 14 weeks and taking 3 a day, and the nausea is on and off all day, the gagging is intense, and I have even thrown up a few times. I'm not sure what is going on, the doctor even took me off my prenatals to help the nausea, and nothing seems to work. I was planning on decreasing my dose soon and getting off the medication, as I'm still skeptical and concerned about the long-term effects it could have on my baby. This medication also makes me very sleepy all day. It makes it really hard to wake up at 5 a.m. for work."
