For Arrhythmia "Afib and Vtach sporadic for 3 years. Went through 3 other antiarrhythmics, they all made me very sick, vertigo, N/V, or tanked my BP. Dr. recommended this because I was already in the hospital from complications from my first ablation, which gave me Dressler's syndrome and eventually a pericardial window from fluid buildup that they said was from Eliquis. After 4 weeks on Tikosyn, no horrible side effects like what Rhythmol, flecainide, or Multaq gave me, just mild headaches and a little fatigue. I'm praying this is the keeper because I never want another ablation."

For Arrhythmia "I went into afib flutter 3 months ago. Been on dofetilide 250 mg since with Eliquis. I reacted with it, so changed to aspirin-82 mg. I have now reacted with it that with gut and stomach pains, general discomfort, memory problems, and brain fog too. But has kept me out of afib-flutter, which I had for 3 or 4 days, before I had cardioversion paddle. Blood pressure is high in the AM then goes down at night. On Cozaar-50 mg also. What to do?"

For Arrhythmia "I have battled arrhythmia for about 3-4 years. Had ablation 3-4 times, and it never lasted more than a week or two. Finally ended up on Sotalol, usual anti-HTN meds, and Eliquis. I also had a Watchman procedure to close the clot-forming left atrial appendage. After a few months of healing, I stopped Eliquis. Essentially, I could live with my arrhythmia but was offered another approach using Tikosyn (Dofetilide), Lisinopril, a statin med, and baby aspirin. I don't want to live with arrhythmia, so I checked into the hospital to start Tikosyn. It wasn't a restful experience with all the EKGs, blood draws day and night, and I started Tikosyn on day 1. On the 3rd day, I had an ablation. After 24 hours, I was discharged and given the usual instructions about what drugs I should avoid, but doing very well, etc. What blew my mind, I was told not to take vitamin supplements across the board, including AREDS 2, which is highly recommended for my macular degeneration still in dry form. Am I the only one being told?"

For Arrhythmia "I was administered Tikosyn in Nov. 2018. Since then, it has kept me in sinus rhythm. In March 2021, I took the second shot of the Pfizer vaccine, and within two weeks, my bpm started going up (I was in bradycardia till then with bpm below 65). Got all exams done and seem that I will need to go through ablation. A few more people recorded the same reaction after the COVID vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna). Can I come back to the previous stage after the vaccine effect is lessened? After how long the vaccine effect will go away, I do not know. In some cases, the heart rhythm was restored after 6 hours. In another episode, after one month, it came back to sinus rhythm. I still take dofetilide, why, I do not know, because now it makes no sense."

For Arrhythmia "I was put on Tikosyn seven months ago even though the electrophysiologist could not make a-fib happen. I have no idea whether I have a-fib or not. What I do have is clusters of premature heartbeats. I don't like this drug. I see the EP in 10 days, and I’m going to ask to be taken off. A week ago, I missed my morning dose. It was the best I felt since starting this drug. I’ll repeat, I really don't like it and don’t know why the EP insists that I take it."

For Arrhythmia "I have been on Tikosyn for 30 years. I also have a pacemaker. I have sick sinus syndrome along with AFib. I am in AFib about 12% of the time and can tell when I am. It is usually for less than 5 minutes. If not for this drug, I would probably have had a major stroke. I won't ever quit this drug until the doctor tells me to. Also, I had an ablation before starting this drug."

For Arrhythmia "I have used Tikosyn since Jan 09 and have had an ablation in late 08. Tikosyn has worked well without any problems. I tried many other drugs with not much success."

For Arrhythmia "Keeps me in good sinus rhythm. Must be careful of red wine, which can put me temporarily into arythmia, but I automatically return to sinus in 24 hrs or so."

For Arrhythmia "Nothing else worked on my A-fib. Finally, in addition to pacemaker installation, Tikosyn solved my A-fib after just two doses in the hospital. Great drug-but expensive!"
