For Alcohol Use Disorder "Been a 'problem drinker' for a long time. Alcohol is EVERYWHERE, it's just too hard to have the willpower never to pick it up again, and one drink leads to many more. Antabuse should be advertised more. I wish more people knew about it. I borrowed some from a friend who was done with it (yes, I know I should have seen a doctor). It works fabulously. Of course, I experimented to see the effect. A half glass of beer, and my face and eyes would turn red, my heart would beat increase, my breathing would change, and some degree of fatigue and dizziness might ensue. It keeps me in check in the way I want, and I've got my excuses not to drink lined up when the situations arise. I find myself eating healthier and no hangovers!"

For Alcohol Use Disorder "I tried acamprosate and naltraxone. Both were jokes. Finally, I tried Antabuse. I heard many stories online that some could even drink on Antabuse. I was in fear. It was my last chance. I wanted the drug to make me sick, terribly sick. Because I knew I would eventually experiment. A few days passed sober, one day I had an urge to drink. I wanted to experiment, so I took a beer. Afraid and scared, I finished my first beer. Once the beer was in, my fear vanished. I ordered another and went home. Slowly, I got what was about to happen. A feeling of a heart attack. I wasn't able to breathe. But inside, I was happy - my biggest fear that Antabuse wouldn't work wasn't true. It was working, promise. First time in my life I booked a cycle rickshaw for a 10 min walking distance, asked the driver to drop me at whatever price. I puked, unlimitedly had a terrible headache. I was so happy that the next weeks I took my Antabuse every day. Side effects: I sleep 24/7 on weekends and wish I had more time to sleep. Too much fatigue and drowsiness."

For Alcohol Use Disorder "Helped me break a long cycle of binge drinking, but after 3 weeks I found the side effects too much to deal with: constant drowsiness, fatigue, muscle pain, nausea, and stomach cramps. Good luck to everyone who can make it work for them!"

For Alcohol Use Disorder "Started Antabuse on December 27. 250 mg a day. Still taking it every day. Some slight fatigue, but no more anxiety, no more drinking, lost 5 lbs without trying. Fear of the interaction with alcohol keeps me from drinking. This drug works. If people say it doesn't affect them when they drink, I suggest they prove it to the manufacturers. I probably will need to take this for the foreseeable future. If it's too expensive, ask for the generic brand, disulfiram. It's been around for decades, there's no reason it should be expensive. This works, so grateful I started!"
