"I got Santyl as recommended by the wound care doctor. It was for scabs from a deep and long gash caused by vein borrow for heart bypass. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction where my lips swelled up and my hands burned and itched furiously. My doctor was surprised as I was the only one to have such a reaction."

"It took a long time, but I was able to debride the black heel in about a year of use on a Type 1 diabetic's foot. No side effects."

For Keratosis "After 1 week of constant use (changed daily), I have noticed some new skin growth around the interior perimeter of the approximately 1-inch open wound that has persisted for several months on the interior of my left ankle. While there has been some reduction in the size of this extremely slow-healing wound, I would have hoped for a little more rapid improvement."
