For Acne "When my dermatologist first prescribed Ziana, it worked pretty well. I put it on at night along with taking Solodyn, an oral antibiotic, once a day. I saw improvement in my acne for about 1-2 months, but I think it's starting to wear off a little bit. But overall, it worked pretty well."

For Acne "I had a wonderful experience with Ziana. This is the only acne medication that didn't dry out my skin after using it. I thought I would never have a good experience with acne medications. Ziana is a smooth, moisturizing acne medication that leaves your skin feeling great. With a couple of days, the redness and swelling of my acne went down significantly. I don't see myself ever using another acne medication."

For Acne "I am 23 years old, and since I was 17, I have been battling acne. I tried every over-the-counter gel, cream, and wash from Neutrogena to ProActiv. I had seen 2 different dermatologist offices and was constantly given prescriptions for things but never told what exactly was going on. This past September, I switched to a new dermatologist office and was prescribed Ziana along with Solodyn, a pill. I am not going to lie, the first month and a half was really hard for me. I am a teacher and felt embarrassed from how red my face was, the huge pimples that blotched my face and the peeling that was going on really took a toll on me. It is now December, and the improvement I have seen is amazing. I am looking much clearer and have no blotches!"

For Acne "I've been using Ziana since 2/2016, and this product has done wonders for me. I'm in my mid-thirties and have never suffered from acne until the last few years. I'd get these painful 'under the skin' bumps that I'd unfortunately squeeze (LEAVE THEM ALONE! Bothering them will only irritate them). I couldn't take it anymore, so I visited my dermatologist, and he prescribed me Ziana gel. For the first week, you will only use it every other day to get your skin used to it. After the first week, use it just before bed. Do not use it until nighttime because the gel oxidizes with sun exposure. Your skin will only be oily for a few months, and it helps with dark spots. Remember, less is best... Use ONLY a pea size or slightly smaller! Good luck!!!"

For Acne "I'm 18 and started Ziana about 6 months ago. My acne got so much worse for about 2 weeks, and my skin peeled for a couple of months (use face lotion!), but as of now, my acne is just about gone, a few occasional spots, and some peeling still, but that's okay! This stuff really works, but patience is key! As usual with a person, stress makes you break out at this age, so the medication doesn't really stop that."

For Acne "I wrote a review yesterday, but there is limited type space and wanted to add some things. Like I said, the facial helped avoid the purging phase, and I also had derma planning done, where they remove facial hair, which helps skin absorb products. When I use the Ziana gel at night, I use one drop to cover my whole face. The first two nights, I made the mistake of using about three drops, and it made my face red. Use a washcloth to cleanse/exfoliate, this will help the peeling. Drink tons of water, use Cetaphil lotion 30 minutes to 1 hour after Ziana application, and you should be good to go. It's been one week, and my face looks great and is hardly peeling. You can also apply more lotion to the dry areas. I pat in the lotion instead of rub to help with absorption."

For Acne "So I began using Ziana in the beginning of December 2014. Just as the others said, my skin did go through a purging process for about 2 months and a half. Almost coming to the end of the third month, I began seeing some of my acne disappear from areas I had always broken out in. Around March (4-month mark), my skin had drastically improved. However, the only side effect is my face is super oily even when I wash it in the morning, it starts to produce oil hours later. In my opinion, this is a small price to pay for clear skin. My advice to new users: stick with it no matter how awful it may seem! This medicine performed miracles for me."

For Acne "I went to a dermatologist back in November. He prescribed me Ziana. I started out by using it daily, and it caused me a little redness, but it went away. It also made me break out a little when I first started using it. I think that was one of the side effects. But anyways, it's now January, and my face is looking so much better. I only have a bit of scars, but besides that, Ziana helped me out a lot, and I would recommend this to other people struggling with acne. I also took before and after pictures, and I love how my skin is looking."

For Acne "I'm 20 years old, and I had severe cystic acne after my dermatologist gave me tretinoin. It was so bad, but I switched to another dermatologist because of my insurance, and she gave me Aczone and Ziana with Solodyn pills. My skin is so clear and soft, it's unbelievable. I only have some dryness around my mouth, but besides that, my skin is the best it's ever been, and I never thought I'd ever be writing a review about something actually working."

For Acne "Just started using Ziana about a month ago on face, neck, and chest. My face has been doing great, but my neck and chest have been breaking out like crazy. I think this may be because I get regular facials and extractions, but not on my neck or chest, so there is a lot to purge. I am liking what I am seeing on the face so far. Still break out, but it seems like it is getting better. I am going to stick with it and see where it goes, will update if anything changes."

For Acne "My dermatologist put me on this, and I had to pay $180 for one tube! A little does go a long way, though. At first, when I tried this, my skin didn't show any signs. My dermatologist told me to wait six months! I couldn't bear it, so I stopped using it and tried Clinique 3 step. It helped after 3 weeks, but then I never saw any major changes, so I used Ziana with Clinique, and it worked great. My face isn't acne-free yet, but it's getting close. After a while, though, the toner and moisturizer made my lower face flake unbelievably, so I stopped using it, and now I just use the soap 2 times a day and Ziana at night. It has worked wonders. Good luck."

For Acne "I love Ziana. Since I was 15 years old, I experienced 'zits on nose', they're basically huge pimples that grow so big under your skin and stay there for about two weeks. This was the worst experience. Throughout the years, I've tried so many medications, but nothing worked. Now I'm 18. After 3-4 years of having zits on my nose continuously, Ziana is working with me, and now my nose is how I wanted it to be. Thank you, Ziana, and thanks to my dermatologist."

For Acne "Ziana is a great product. I have used it for 4 years. After years of suffering with adult acne and trying various dermatologists and products, nothing helped! A friend referred me to her dermatologist. I was prescribed Ziana and OTC cleanser CeraVe. Due to the cost, I almost didn't buy it. The pharmacist gave me a pep talk, and I purchased it. Oh, I am glad I did! I returned to the dermatologist for a 6-week follow-up. I was overjoyed with the results, my face had completely cleared. The only thing we didn't do was take pictures before. I had no redness or worsening breakouts. I still use it for maintenance. A life changer, and I highly recommend it to you. Insurance didn't cover all of the cost, but it was worth it. I thanked my pharmacist too."

For Acne "I have suffered from cystic acne on my face and back since I was 16 (I'm now 27). I was on birth control Diane for 10 years that helped with the embarrassing acne, but I wanted to go off of synthetic hormones. My acne came back with a vengeance when the birth control was out of my system (about 5 months later), and I was at a loss. My derm recommended a regimen of applying Ziana gel at night and Acanya in the mornings and also wanted to put me on antibiotics. I never took the Solodyn because I only like to take antibiotics in extreme cases to be kind to my gut. It took 3-4 months for the acne to clear up and the dark spots to disappear, but it is 100% gone! Not a single breakout. Be patient, it's worth it!"

For Acne "I promised myself that I would write a review if the product worked, and here I am! I’ve been using it for 2 years, and my skin has cleared. When I first used it (3 months), I didn’t see any improvement. One thing I realized is to minimize the amount of products (i.e., toner, essences) used when using Biacna. Simply use a moisturizer/lotion. I recommend a really thick moisturizer because your skin tends to dry a lot (coming from a person with a very oily face). Don’t give up using this product, and hope for the best for all!"

For Acne "When I first started using Ziana, I only had acne in between my eyebrows, chin, and the nose area. My acne worsened while using it, and then it got better. But after about 4 months of using it, it became ineffective. So I now have acne between my eyebrows, chin, cheeks, forehead, and the nose area. It's great at first, but after a while, it made my face even worse than before I used the product."

For Acne "I'm a Black woman who has mild acne (closed comedones on forehead and cheekbones), oily/combo skin, prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I began using Biacna (equivalent to Ziana) regularly in November or December of 2016, once a day at night, making sure to apply at least SPF 40 every morning. It is now May of 2017, 5 months later, and my mild acne has spread all over my face - my forehead, all of my cheeks, and my chin are regularly covered in tiny bumps, and when those resolve, they are replaced with more tiny bumps. I think it is safe to say that this product is not working for me, since my acne has only gotten steadily worse over time, with no improvement. I will use this product for one more month."

For Acne "Before this, I used to have so many little bumps on my forehead as well as acne. Then I started using all these products recommended, which made it worse. Later, after going to my dermatologist, which recommended me Biacna (Canadian version of Ziana). After about a week of using it, the purge was crazy! It got so much worse, but my dermatologist said it’s normal and to keep patient. Now it’s my two weeks, and all my acne and bumps are gone now, and it’s just marks I have to deal with! Good luck everyone, and be patient, the results are astonishing!"

For Acne "I had a sudden outbreak of what the derm called adult acne. It came back after it was almost better two weeks later, and I went to the Dr. He prescribed Ziana, which I use at night, and my face not only got 100% better with 0 blemishes, but it has not broken out again since. It does make me wake up very oily, but once I wash my face and apply makeup, I don't have that issue throughout the day. I didn't experience any redness or drying. Great product for me!"

For Acne "I've struggled with moderate acne the past several months and finally went to the dermatologist. She prescribed Ziana gel at night, as well as Epiduo for the mornings, an oral antibiotic, and Cetaphil Dermacontrol face cleanser and moisturizer. Like others, the first week of using Ziana gel made areas on my face where the acne was worse slightly red and peel. However, I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin, and it's only been a week. I also have been drinking a lot of water (hydrating from the inside out) as well as using regular Cetaphil after I apply the gel at night. The day I saw my dermatologist, I also had a facial done after my appointment, so I think that has helped me not have the 'purge' phase some people are talking about."

For Acne "I've only started this 3 weeks ago, however, I have seen a huge difference. Within the first couple of days, it cleared all the redness and whiteheads. It did dry my skin out, and I had to double up on my moisturizer. Now going into week 3, the deep bumps that never seem to go away have started to subside. I accidentally skipped one night and could tell the difference the next day, so it's definitely something you have to keep in the habit of."

For Acne "I'm a female in my mid-20s with mild acne, mostly around my jawline and occasionally right over my eyebrows. I was prescribed Ziana about a month ago by my dermatologist. I had previously been using Finacea. With Finacea, I still had the monthly 2-3 deep pimples that took weeks to completely go away. After starting Ziana, I have only had ONE pimple on my chin that went away in a few days. I did not experience the 'purge' my dermatologist warned me about. That may be due to the monthly facials I have started to get, but I'm not sure. I have noticed a drastic difference in my breakouts and skin overall. I have not noticed a difference in my acne 'scars' or pink/reddish-brown marks left from previous breakouts, but I will wait and see."

For Acne "I've been using Ziana for about a year now, it seems to do a good job preventing and treating new acne vulgaris, but does nothing to prevent or eliminate the whiteheads. I actually haven't used it in the past week and have seen no change in my skin. I also wash my face with a salicylic acid/glycolic acid face wash that my dermatologist sells."

For Acne "For the longest, I have had a problem with breakouts on my face, mostly on my forehead and chin area. However, I must say this gel is the truth! I have been using it for 6 months now and may have had one breakout in the beginning since I've been using it. I'm so glad I gave it a try, my skin looks great, and I haven't had to deal with those sometimes painful acne breakouts."

For Acne "This is a miracle product. I am zit-free now. Try it, you will love it. After a few weeks, I am completely clear. A small amount of the product is used, and the tube lasts me about 2 months. Again, a miracle in a bottle."
