Brompheniramine / dextromethorphan / pseudoephedrine for Cough and Nasal Congestion "I could not sleep because of this medicine, it made me feel like I had to move every second and made me so paranoid and anxious. It also made my heart pound hard and just made me feel so messed up. I can’t wait for it to wear off to never take it again. I literally feel like I’m about to have a heart attack."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I took one dose of the syrup, and it made me feel really spacey and weird. Felt like I needed to sleep but couldn't. My wife and I were both prescribed this medicine. She turned pale white in the face and said her heart was racing. I don't see how doctors prescribe this medicine, it's horrible. I felt worse than I did before I took it. I was thankful when the medicine wore off. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!"

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I contacted my doctor to ask him how I can ease a dry, painful cough with coughing fits and a head cold. This is what he prescribed. Using an oral syringe from the pharmacy makes taking it very easy. 10 to 15 minutes after taking my first dose, the congestion in my head lessened. I did have a headache come on afterward. I took Tylenol, put an ice pack on my head, and was able to fall asleep. The cough lessened in severity from the first dose onward. I still felt the urge to cough but was able to suppress the cough, in contrast to before taking the medication where if I felt the urge to cough it meant a coughing fit was definitely about to happen. The coughing fits were painful and taxing, so I'm really glad for this medicine. Other side effects I felt have been my vision being a bit weird, though not quite blurry, and my heart racing (but no more than if I had a strongly caffeinated drink)."

Brompheniramine / dextromethorphan / pseudoephedrine for Cough and Nasal Congestion "I have bronchitis and am coughing nonstop. This did not help. It made me anxious, and my heart beat rapidly for a while. I just wanted it to wear off. Still not able to sleep due to coughing."
