Brompheniramine / dextromethorphan / pseudoephedrine for Cough and Nasal Congestion "I don't normally write reviews, and I know everybody reacts differently to medication. But I will never take Bromfed DM again!!! It made my heart feel like it was going to beat right out of my chest. It did not help my coughing at all, which is why it was prescribed for me. I hope it works well for others. But for me, I'll never take it again!!!!"

Brompheniramine / dextromethorphan / pseudoephedrine for Cough and Nasal Congestion "It was time for bed, so I decided to take a dose to help me breathe at night. I was heavily congested to the point I snored when I tried breathing through my mouth. I dosed off about 20 minutes after taking it, which is not normal for me, I usually have trouble sleeping at night. Anywho, a few hours in, I found myself awake and anxious. I felt my heart and thought I was maybe going to have a heart attack. I was tossing and turning and had weird dreams. It helped with my breathing, but that feeling of maybe dying is scarier than anything I’ve experienced. Maybe less dosage next time? I don't know, but it was something I would rather not experience again!"

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I was prescribed this medicine for bronchitis; 10 ml every 6 hours. The first dose made me feel a bit drowsy and weird, like I definitely could not drive a car, but I just rolled with it. Took my second dose at 9 pm to soothe my cough and have a good night's sleep; that time I felt even higher than the first dose and not in an enjoyable way at all. It caused confusion, heart palpitations, a weird state between drowsy and alert, my brain was definitely foggy and I don't think it is suitable for people that have to go to work or school. I'll stick with my albuterol instead!"

Brompheniramine / dextromethorphan / pseudoephedrine for Cough and Nasal Congestion "Helped cough, but the trade-off for the severe side effects of nausea, dizziness, and heart palpitations was not worth it. Never taking it again."
