Azelaic acid topical "Have been using this cream for 3 days, and I already notice a big difference. I really didn't have problems with breakouts, more redness than anything. I have tried numerous creams and pills, this is the best so far. My skin looks better than it has in years."

Azelaic acid topical "I have been using this for 6 months, and the change in my skin has been amazing. I had been using doxy, which was going okay, but once I stopped responding, the doctor prescribed me this. I wish I would have started with this product. I have moderate rosacea coupled with some cheek acne. This stuff started making a difference about 4 days in. I had people asking me what I had done differently and why I looked so good. I only use it in the morning, and I can do this because it dries SO fast. It doesn't leave a weird film or feeling like lots of prescription creams do. Even so, it helps tighten the skin and has smoothed the appearance of fine lines. The only reason I gave this 9 stars is that it gives you peach fuzz all over your cheeks."

Azelaic acid topical "I've been on numerous topical and oral medications for acne. At one point, Solodyn and Doxycycline have been the only skin saviors for me. My derma put me on several different topicals over the course of the last four years, i.e., Ziana, Epiduo, Onexton, Retin-A, and Acanya. I've probably tried more but can't remember all of them. The last topical I was on was Epiduo until I found out that I was pregnant. My doctor quickly put me on Finacea since it is safe to use during pregnancy. I have to say, it's been 6 days using it morning and night, and it's the absolutely best topical I've tried. My skin is under control, and past acne scars are fading. I really do love this stuff. Wish I tried it sooner!"

Azelaic acid topical "My wife got some of this as a sample today. She has medium rosacea. She tested a little in the car while I was driving her home. When we got home (30 mins?), I went, wow, look at your face. She went, wow, too! Huge change with just one application! Hope this continues!"

Azelaic acid topical "I have tried everything for my rosacea, including antibiotics and even Accutane, but this product is the only one that truly got rid of my acne. In fact, it seemed like it worked overnight. The seemingly small bottle of foam lasted about 7 months, and my skin stayed clear the whole time. I’m so glad my dermatologist recommended this product after diagnosing me with rosacea. However, I definitely can’t afford to continue buying it, so I’ve switched to cheaper azelaic acid products. They don’t work as well, but still keep my skin looking healthy. I recommend trying this if you have rosacea or sensitive skin in general. The only reason I’m not giving this product a 10/10 is because of its cost."

Azelaic acid topical "Great results in reducing severe facial disfigurement and maintaining smooth and soft skin. Could not do without it. Now my insurance is harassing my doctor for prior authorization for a product that has been working great for me for over 10 years."

Azelaic acid topical "I have been using Finacea gel for the last 6 weeks and have seen amazing results. I had been recently diagnosed with a medium case of rosacea, but to me, it felt like it was a serious case. Both cheeks and forehead were affected. My forehead and cheeks were at times very red, and I became very aware of it. I use it twice a day and have also been given a course of erythromycin tablets, and I also use Zerobase moisturizing cream. By using all of the mentioned items, I have seen an incredible difference in my face, and on occasions, my face bears no redness as it used to. I saw some difference in about 10 days by using Finacea gel, and I cannot recommend it enough."

Azelaic acid topical "Been using for 10 years and has always kept my rosacea at bay. It stings during the first week of use but definitely worth enduring that discomfort, the results are amazing! A tube now lasts me almost a year as it only takes a tiny bit of cream to maintain clear skin."

Azelaic acid topical "I brought it from my country, the insurance does not cover this cream here. I only pay U$27 compared with almost U$400. Finacea really works for me. I used to wear Metrogel (didn't work), taking a lot of antibiotics in the past. My dermatologist gave me some Finacea samples because it was expensive. I cannot understand why all dermatologic problems are considered 'cosmetology' and insurance does not cover them."

Azelaic acid topical "I really like how this product performs! I received a sample from my doctor, my blemishes are clearing up and the redness is gone! However, it is not covered by my insurance. A month's supply would be $304.00! Even with a discount card, the cost was over $200.00. I cannot justify spending that much money on blemishes each month. :/ The patent is due to expire in Nov 2018... I hope a generic version is offered right away."

Azelaic acid topical "I've been using Finacea on and off for many years! When I was originally diagnosed with rosacea, the treatment was continuous tetracycline. A couple of years later, it was my ophthalmologist who prescribed Finacea, and the results were almost immediate. My usual course of treatment is a morning facial wash with a gentle cleanser and then a few dabs of Finacea smoothed into the affected areas. And then there are periods when I don't use it at all until I begin to see the initial telltale signs. Recently, and years later, I had a flare-up of rosacea-related acne on my cheeks, a new occurrence. My dermatologist placed me on doxycycline and twice-a-day Finacea with excellent results in a matter of a few days. It's been like a cure for me."

Azelaic acid topical "I've been using Finacea for about 2 months daily. Maybe redness reduced, but stubborn bumps still there. Very expensive prescription for something that doesn't work so great. I think Prosacea - a $10 OTC drug - works as well or possibly even a little better. Good luck to all."

Azelaic acid topical "I have been using this Finacea 15% gel for about a week, and posting here just because I am totally shocked at the price some of you are forced to pay for this product. I live in Italy, and I bought this for 19€ (full price, no discount), and I thought 'that's too much for a tube of gel.' I feel sorry for you, they are extorting you, they are criminals. Can't say anything about the gel yet... too soon for me, but I have an acne problem on my skin."

Azelaic acid topical "My Finacea gel has been a lifesaver. Before I started it, I was on antibiotics for my rosacea. Those helped, but not nearly as much as Finacea. It has made my face go from extremely red and filled with dots and bumps to smooth and almost regular skin tone. I can finally go outside without makeup and not feel like an alien. The only side effect is that it makes my skin itch and burn a little after applying it. I solve this problem by using a moisturizer 5 minutes later. Oh, and one tube lasts forever!"

Azelaic acid topical "I’m using Finacea for mild rosacea. The first week, it was mildly burning. By the 7th day, I could tell an enormous difference. My skin went from feeling rough to being very smooth. I have had friends make comments about my skin looking nice. I can tell a HUGE difference. I am very happy with the results. I’m hoping my skin will improve even more with longer use. Most of the postpustules are gone, and the red spots are a lighter pink now. My skin is smooth."

Azelaic acid topical "So the initial price got me looking the other way, and silly me, I ended up spending more thinking I knew more than my doctor. Listen up, rosacea sufferers - TRY THIS! I have spent nearly 3 years trying to find other solutions, and nada. One tiny application, one time, I already see results. One tube should last for a very long time (I mean years). So it is worth the money to save yourself from being embarrassed."

Azelaic acid topical "I am writing this as an update from my original post a few months ago when I first started using Finacea after buying it online from an Australian pharmacy. Unfortunately, I discovered Finacea was not for me, it actually made my skin so much worse. I’d have to mentally prepare myself every time I put it on because it burned so bad I couldn’t even stand it, and my face was horribly red, dry, flaky, and tight all the time. If anything, it made my rosacea worse. I finally broke down and went to my dermatologist, and he prescribed me antibiotics, Soolantra, and Rhofade (which I know a lot of people hate), but for me, I have had much better results with this regimen. Redness is still there, but the Rhofade doesn’t burn and definitely reduces the redness and feels very soft and soothing on my skin, no more dryness and flakiness. Finacea just didn’t work for me."

"I get terrible flare-ups when I'm stressed. My father recently passed away, so my stress level was extreme! My aunt took one look at my face and said, 'You need antibiotics.' I've been on doxy and azelaic acid combination for 1 week, and I've noticed a huge improvement. I've also been using Benzac wash, which is good for acne-prone skin but is super soothing and doesn't dry the skin... so far, so good! Made a huge difference in my confidence too."

Azelaic acid topical "Finacea works really well for me in controlling rosacea, much, much better than Metrogel. However, I am just trying it out as a foam, and that is a terrible experience. It is very difficult to control the amount that comes out, and then you cannot spread it evenly on your face. It gets everywhere, including the eyes. I would really recommend that you stick to the gel."

Azelaic acid topical "I have moderate rosacea, but enough where my entire face is pink/red. I started using this two months ago, day and night, and the redness has gone down minimally, but I've started to break out in deep red pimples on my cheeks. I stopped yesterday, and the pimples seem to be clearing up a bit. Definitely wasn't worth it because I now have acne marks all over my face."

Azelaic acid topical "I took Finacea for nine weeks, and it has made my rosacea worse. I have inflammation and pustules, along with burning and stinging sensations, which have increased considerably. It appears to work well for a lot of people, but like every other rosacea treatment, it’s not for everyone."

Azelaic acid topical "I was suffering with a really bad rosacea flare-up for almost a year. New dermatologist gave me Finacea foam in addition to Metrogel to use twice a day. After 4 months, there was only such a small improvement, and I was continuing to get pustules on my cheeks daily. I ultimately got off of the Finacea and am now in Metrogel and another topical cream, which works so much better for me."
