Atogepant for Chronic Migraine "I am on the Botox and Aimovig injections (for a few years) with Qulipta recently started. The Botox and Aimovig lessened daily migraines, but I started having hemiplegic migraines, which mimic stroke symptoms. The Qulipta seemed like a wonder drug for the first few months, minus the constipation, which is a good thing for me. However, within the last two months, I have started having right shoulder and collarbone pain, excruciating stomach pain, and back pain. The pain even went down my right leg in the nerves and the muscles. Back pain is worse than before I had back surgery years ago for a broken back. The doctor couldn’t find anything wrong with any of these problems. So after reading most of these reviews, I’m beginning to wonder if this is a symptom of this Qulipta? I do have the agitation/anger, ringing in the ears, and exhaustion as well. Disappointed."

Atogepant for Chronic Migraine "I have been on Qulipta 60 mg for 1 month for chronic migraine. I am experiencing ringing in my ears, insomnia, and a dullness in affect. I am not tired but have no energy or desire to do anything. I have had symptoms of migraine, like neck pain, but no debilitating headache. Today, I tried 30 mg, hoping I will feel more human."

Atogepant for Migraine Prevention "Qulipta was prescribed to me for migraine headaches. I have headaches that vary according to a pain scale of 4-9 about an average of 12 times a month, with auras of both photophobia and photophobia, numbness and tingling in my face, body fatigue, nausea, and dizziness. Qulipta has helped diminish the headaches but also caused me to be extremely tired and dizzy from time to time. I was officially put on the highest dosage (60 mg) of Qulipta in the beginning, and the neurologist lowered the dose to (30 mg). The higher dosage of 60 mg caused me to not be able to function. I would sleep for 3-4 days straight, I would not be hungry or thirsty during that time because I was sleeping all the time. Pulling back on the dosage to 30 mg daily has helped me greatly. I have not been taking Qulipta for very long. I hope this continues to work. One other problem that I have with Qulipta is $$$. I had to go through many different medications before approval by my insurance company."

Atogepant for Chronic Migraine "I have been on this since 04/29. I have not had a headache or a migraine since, this has been life-changing for me. I had 4 headaches a week and 5-6 migraines a month. Nothing since I started taking it. I am tired from the meds, so I take them at night. As far as weight loss, I have lost some weight as well."

For Migraine "This is the most amazing, life-changing drug for me. Used to have one migraine a day, now one, perhaps, every 3 or 4 months. Please try it if you can, it could save your life. I am blessed that I can have this on regular prescription with the NHS. I'm sorry for anyone that can't get this life-changing drug. Side effects are minimal, but I do feel tired, but I think I already did feel tired."

For Chronic Migraine "It seemed to work almost instantly. From 18+ migraine days a month to 4 in the first month and 2 in the second. Two months after that, I had 1 migraine day. I know when I would be getting a migraine, but it never develops beyond a pressure feeling in my head. Side effects seem to be a decreased appetite, especially for snacking between meals, and increased fatigue. This could be down to other conditions I have, but I am more tired than usual, with lethargy rather than sleepiness. I take 60 mg at night."

Atogepant for Migraine Prevention "I have been on Qulipta for migraines for about 4.5 months. (7-year history with constant migraines.) My doc gave me 60 mg, but I was incredibly tired and falling asleep. So much so, it was like I was in my 1st trimester of pregnancy again. (Not pregnant now.) I decided to break it in half and only take 30 mg daily. The 1st week or two, I still had a lot of headaches, but sumatriptan helped. Then the migraines pretty much stopped! I was constipated, but that pretty much has evened out. However, and this is a big one… in the last month to month and a half, I have lost half my hair! (I’m a 43-year-old female with long fine hair as it is, and losing half is extremely upsetting to say the least.) Now, I have also been on Bupropion for 14 months, and there is a 1% chance of losing hair on that. Also, maybe perimenopause could be kicking in… but to lose that much hair that quickly???! I stopped Qulipta and Bupropion both cold turkey last week to see if my hair will stop falling out or not."
