Atogepant for Migraine Prevention "I’ve been on Qulipta 30 mg for almost 6 months. It seems to have lessened them some, however, they are no help for migraines caused by weather changes and stress. We live in the South, and the barometric pressure swings like crazy, causing my migraines. I feel like they aren’t as bad as they were, and I have been on every drug made for migraines and seizures. I go back to my neurologist next month, and he may up the dosage. I have lost weight because I have no appetite. It hasn’t affected my depression or any other health concern, so I’ll stay on it until my doctor does something different."

Atogepant for Migraine Prevention "Currently take this, and it works fairly well for me. Kind of reminds me of Nurtec with its intended purpose and category. Went from 10-15 migraines a month to 3-6. Only downside, I couldn’t eat much anymore due to loss of appetite and lost a lot of weight. To fix this, I was instructed to cut it in half, which seems to have worked well so far."

Atogepant for Migraine Prevention "I started taking Qulipta a few weeks ago and have had no issues other than loss of appetite. I am using it to replace Aimovig, which was effective in preventing migraines, except it would wear off before the next injection. I am of normal weight with a BMI of 20-21, so I do not need to lose weight. I am trying to force myself to eat normally, but I am down 4 lbs. I would like to know if others with this side effect have found that it improves with time."

For Chronic Migraine "It seemed to work almost instantly. From 18+ migraine days a month to 4 in the first month and 2 in the second. Two months after that, I had 1 migraine day. I know when I would be getting a migraine, but it never develops beyond a pressure feeling in my head. Side effects seem to be a decreased appetite, especially for snacking between meals, and increased fatigue. This could be down to other conditions I have, but I am more tired than usual, with lethargy rather than sleepiness. I take 60 mg at night."

Atogepant for Migraine Prevention "I’ve been taking the 60mg pill for about three and a half months, and it’s helped prevent migraines from a couple of very common triggers: weather change, odors, and flickering lights. It also makes the migraines I get usually much less painful and easier to get rid of, or to stop from starting with Fioricet. It has reduced my appetite, but I’m slowly gaining weight and eating less, I have to figure that out. I’ve used Aimovig and Emgality too, and this is the best one."
