For Migraine Prevention "This medicine was like magic for the first 2 weeks I was on it! I got slight auras, but they never developed into pain or other symptoms. I have daily migraines for the last 3 years, and this reduced them to 1 over those 2 weeks, and it wasn't a bad one. However, after those 2 weeks, I had a 2-day long panic attack out of nowhere. I had to go to the hospital, and my blood pressure was 160/129. It went back down 5 hours later after that panic attack subsided. Depression got way worse, and my stomach felt like it had a baby in it without eating anything. Got off Qulipta, and all that went away when I stopped after 4-5 days. Sucks because it was awesome for the migraine! I was also only taking the 30 mg. I still recommend giving it a try! It's better than doing nothing about your migraines!"

For Chronic Migraine "13 days ago I started 30 mg daily of Qulipta with zero expectations. Today, I am going on day 13 of not having a migraine. I can honestly say this medication has changed my entire life in only 13 days. Upon taking my first dose, the first three days following, I had horrendous sharp stomach pain and constipation. These side effects are finally easing up but not entirely. For me, the pros versus cons in taking this medication was something I really thought long and hard about before taking it. I ultimately decided that stomach pain over multiple migraines a week was something I could deal with. I’m hoping it’s temporary and will subside even more than it already has. I have also been tired in a way that is kind of hard to describe but not to the point where I can’t function on a regular level. I feel like my body is getting used to this medication slowly but it feels like it's working! I can still feel the mood changes associated with my migraines, which is crazy, but overall 10/10"

For Chronic Migraine "I am in my 50s. History of chronic migraines for 30 years (20+ migraine days/month). Started 30mg Qulipta in December. Initial nausea for the first few weeks. Migraines were down to 1-2 a month, however, they have crept up again in the last 4 weeks, 2-3 migraine days per week. Going to try the 60 mg dose. The first few months on Qulipta were magical!"

For Migraine Prevention "For the first time in my life, I am not a migraine sufferer. Qulipta has eliminated almost all headaches for me. I may experience the occasional headache, but aspirin usually takes care of them now. I've had no symptoms for the first year, but have recently begun to have back pain. I'm not certain if this is a side effect of taking Qulipta, and I'm wondering if there are other people who take Qulipta and are also experiencing back pain."

For Chronic Migraine "I have been on 60mg of Qulipta for about a month. It's been great for my migraines. I only had one. I normally have 4 to 5 a week. I unfortunately had to stop taking it due to severe stomach issues. I had major constipation and bloating. My stomach looked like I was 4 months pregnant. Extremely uncomfortable. I can't live on laxatives every day either. Plus my insurance doesn't cover the medication and I can't afford to pay $1,200 every month. I will go back to taking Aimovig, which is covered and gave me no side effects."

For Chronic Migraine "Qulipta worked wonders for me for 1-1/2 years. I've had migraines my whole life, and this was the first preventative medication that truly stopped ALL my headaches. However, after 1-1/2 years, Qulipta stopped working altogether, and sadly I'm now getting daily migraines again."

For Chronic Migraine "For the last 30 years, I was having one migraine episode every 5 days, and now with Qulipta 30 mg once a day, it's been 2 weeks without any (using samples). I am going to ask for a prescription. It's a wonder drug!!! Finally, my wishes have manifested with this discovery. All usual sensitivity towards migraine triggers have gone. I am so happy with the results, you can't imagine. Yet, I have not seen any weight loss or any side effects in the last 2 weeks. Highly recommend trying this drug. Life changer. I take it with the first tea/snack in the morning."

For Migraine Prevention "Qulipta has been extremely effective for me. I’ve been taking it for 8 months, and in that time have only had 3 migraines. I used to get 4-6 a month on average. The three I got while on Qulipta all came when I had several triggers, and they responded well to my triptan. My only side effect has been some mild constipation, which I have found easy to manage with the occasional smooth move tea."

For Chronic Migraine "I have tried multiple different prescription medications for migraine prevention, literally, none of them worked, and I had all but given up hope that I'd ever be free from the plague of chronic migraines. Until my neurologist put me on Qulipta 60 mg/day, I went from approximately 15 migraines a month down to 2. I can't say enough good things!"

For Migraine Prevention "I was having headaches all the time. 1-2 a week. On weeks that I had my period, I would have one the entire time. Since starting Qulipta, I have had only one really bad one that caused me to stay in bed all day in the last year and a half. Now when I feel one coming on, I take an Advil and it usually goes away."

For Migraine Prevention "I have just finished my 1st month of Qulipta 60mg and I didn't have a single headache all month! I've only had 2 side effects. First is off and on profuse sweating and feeling hot. It was pretty bad at first but now it's subsiding. The 2nd, I had an upper respiratory infection and was put on Augmentin and I experienced severe dizziness the whole time. To the point of falling over. I've been on Augmentin before and never had dizziness so I can only assume it didn't mix well with the Qulipta."

For Migraine Prevention "I have been on amitriptyline for 7 years. Beginning a year ago, I was on a very high dose, one of the highest you can take, and still getting multiple migraines a week. I was then offered Qulipta, and it has helped tremendously, but I still have to take amitriptyline every day with the Qulipta. I went from 5-6 migraines a week to maybe 1 every 2-3 weeks. I have been taking it in the morning and haven't had any issues with sleepiness. However, one missed dose for me means an immediate migraine, so I've had to really stay on top of the timing of my dose. The only side effect I seem to have, which is not listed, is hair loss. It may not be connected, but it didn't start until I began this medication. Overall, I would definitely recommend Qulipta."

For Migraine Prevention "I have suffered from migraines for 28 years. I've also been diagnosed with bruxism, which is nightly teeth clenching that causes me to wake up with a headache almost every day. Some turned into migraines, some didn't. Some just plain started as migraines. Doctors have had me try Verapamil, Topamax, Prednisone, Nortriptyline with no success. I've been to physical therapy, tried acupuncture, seen neurologists to no avail. I was getting anywhere from one migraine per week up to four! That wasn't counting the headaches that didn't turn into migraines. Those were as little as one per week up to 6!! Nothing seemed to help until my doctor suggested Qulipta. It's only been three weeks, but the difference has been amazing!! In that time, I've only had two migraines and one minor headache!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that AbbVie will continue to allow me to use coupons to purchase this, my insurance continues to approve this, and it continues to work!!!"

For Chronic Migraine "I have been on this since 04/29. I have not had a headache or a migraine since, this has been life-changing for me. I had 4 headaches a week and 5-6 migraines a month. Nothing since I started taking it. I am tired from the meds, so I take them at night. As far as weight loss, I have lost some weight as well."

For Migraine Prevention "I have been on Qulipta for a few months. I averaged 15 or more severe cluster migraines a month. I take 60mg 1x a day. Pros are that my migraines have definitely reduced, averaging maybe 1 or 2x a week. Cons are the following: severe constipation, weird and at times horrific, vivid nightmares, and when I do get a migraine, it’s extremely severe and basically shuts me down for the day."

For Migraine Prevention "Definitely helps with migraines. I still get headaches, but they are milder, so a dose of Excedrin will take care of it instead of the whole 3 days. Room spinning and the need for a dark room are significantly reduced."

For Chronic Migraine "Qulipta has been a life changer for me. I've tried every medication, diet change, and all-natural remedies to no avail. I cut my 60 mg pill in half because I don't have insurance. Since day one of taking the meds, I've barely had any migraines. I went from 3-4 days in bed all day to 0. At first, I was afraid they would come back, but after 3 months on the meds, I have hope. I've only had one or two less severe migraines in 3 months. Unbelievable for me. I thought I would never find help. The only side effects I've had is constipation, so I take a stool softener 2x per day, and that has helped. The constipation was so bad it was like having cement in my bowels. No kidding. Also, I've experienced a little problem with staying asleep, but I’ll take that any day over being bedridden. I highly recommend Qulipta and hope it becomes more affordable soon."

For Chronic Migraine "I started taking Qulipta about 2 months ago. I've suffered from migraines since I was 3. I have had chronic headaches my whole life. I've tried so many medications, and the side effects were crazy, and I couldn't take them. This is the first medication that actually works. The only side effects I really have are constipation and fatigue. And my appetite has decreased, which is fine with me. I highly recommend!"

For Chronic Migraine "I take 30mg/day, and for the first time in thirty years, I'm able to stave off a headache with ibuprofen, which used to be completely ineffective. I'm taking my rescue meds very infrequently - maybe once every month or two - when I used to ration them. I'm waking up feeling rested almost every day for the first time in my life, as well."

For Migraine Prevention "I have had daily headaches and migraines for many years. My doctor has prescribed many different meds for prevention and daily headaches and migraines, but nothing worked. Qulipta works! I don't have the daily headaches and I've only had two migraines in the past five weeks. It's expensive, but it works!!"

For Migraine Prevention "Completely changed my life. I went from 4 migraines a week to 0. I finally have my life back after 6 years of debilitating headaches! I take one pill each night before bed and have not had a migraine since starting the medication over a month ago. My only side effect is mild constipation. Also, my insurance doesn't cover it so I'm trying to figure out how to continue it. I'm desperate and don't know what I will do if I can't get it anymore."

For Migraine Prevention "I started taking Qulipta a few weeks ago and have had no issues other than loss of appetite. I am using it to replace Aimovig, which was effective in preventing migraines, except it would wear off before the next injection. I am of normal weight with a BMI of 20-21, so I do not need to lose weight. I am trying to force myself to eat normally, but I am down 4 lbs. I would like to know if others with this side effect have found that it improves with time."

For Chronic Migraine "Qulipta has been a lifesaver for me. I had gotten to where I was having migraines pretty much every day. I couldn't stand the lights on or being outside. The pain was 8-10 on the pain scale. My doctor gave me a sample of Qulipta, and it worked within a couple of days. I now take it every day and very rarely have a migraine. Maybe twice a month is all. I can't say I have had any side effects while taking Qulipta. My insurance company has given me a hard time about taking it. In fact, they refused to pay for it. However, the company that makes Qulipta has been very good to me and has helped me continue to get the medication. Thank you for finally coming up with a product that works! I've tried so many medications as well as Botox injections, and nothing has worked until Qulipta!"

For Migraine Prevention "Medication works great but having issues getting it, my doctor has to preauthorize every 6 months due to its cost per my mail order prescription plan. This is a real pain in the ass because my provider is not a fan of mail order pharmacy. It takes up a lot of time for them to keep verifying that yes, I have been a migraine patient for 10 years! I’m constantly worried I will run out of medication due to delays. Shame that this has to happen with a medication that finally works. Comes down to greed in my opinion. Pharma Pro Act hates that I have 0 copay, so they hound a busy doctor’s office for the same questions and BS every 6 months."

For Chronic Migraine "I have been a lifelong headache sufferer for over 50 years, experiencing as many as 15-20 headaches a month. I have pretty much tried every option out there, from beta blockers to Botox and even acupuncture, with no real substantial benefit. I used to take 3-4 ibuprofen for each episode, but over the past 10 years, I could only take a triptan to abort the pain. I have been on only 10 mg of QULIPTA nightly for almost 3 months and have only had about 6 headaches. I haven't had too many side effects other than dealing with constipation, which I have had most of my life anyway, probably due to other meds. I'm going to stay on this for now to see how it goes for a few more months, but so far I am pleased with the results. I had to get this approved by my insurance company, and they wanted me to purchase it from a mail away service. I am currently using the Qulipta savings card, which is fantastic. I just need to purchase it at the local pharmacy."
