"This medicine has enabled me to regain a functional life for the past 5 years. It has no side effect on me. I was once proposed to take Tramadol and felt quite sick. Every treatment I tried has failed so far. I am thankful to have Propoxyphene to relieve my debilitating pain."

"I have severe pain in my jaw and pain in my abdomen from Crohn's disease. I have been on this medication for two days, and so far it has worked well. I was on Tramadol, but it gave me no pain relief and made me ill. My doctor tells me this medication does not have as high an abuse rate as others, so I think it was a good decision to try it. The only problem I have with this medication is that it takes about one hour to begin working."

"Took Darvon 65 for over 40 years for migraine headaches. Worked great. I retired from banking after 32 years. Doctors told me it was no better than Tylenol. They were dead wrong. It never adversely affected my work. Doctors and mass hysteria drove it off the market without considering the millions of people it helped."

"I took Darvon off and on for about 20 years. No side effects or bad reactions, except that the pain went away. They switched to Darvocet capsules somewhere along the way, and they were as good. No side effects or bad reactions. They worked too, and I still haven't had a heart attack."

"This was a great drug without any side effects for me. I first took it because of a serious dental problem that was very painful, and my dentist prescribed it in my 20s. I took it as directed, and it helped me tremendously. I was in so much pain from my mouth. Never had any side effects at all. Later in my 50s, I took Darvon 65 for serious pain and injuries. It helped again and enabled me to not take much time off work because it helped with the pain. Then I tore my rotator cuff in my right shoulder from a fall and had back-to-back surgeries. Again, I asked for Darvon Compound 65 because I knew it worked for me with no side effects. The second surgery turned into a nightmare, and that was that. I wasn't able to get the Darvon Compound 65, so I was given a generic called Tramadol 37.5. It helped but wasn't as easy on the stomach because it was generic in pill form (not in capsule), and it took longer to work without the lasting quality of Darvon Compound 65."

"I have found this medicine to work on my arthritis pain as well as my migraines. It is a godsend! But for some reason, they took it off the market. They say it causes heart attacks, well, I have a mitral valve prolapse and was off and on it for twenty years, never caused me any heart problems. But I took it as prescribed."

"Darvon is highly addictive and causes violent mood swings. Once my brother built up a tolerance to it, he began titrating up over time. He eventually became addicted and, consequently, died of a drug overdose of Darvon."
