Apixaban "I've been using Eliquis for a month now, and it is horrible. I have tremors, headache, a lot of gas, body pain, and joint pain. I take it for the prevention of DVT. If the doctor doesn't find another way to treat me, I'll just have to change doctors because Eliquis side effects are bad, and they won't change it to something else. I think the doctor gets paid extra for prescribing this medicine because he is too obsessed with giving me this garbage."

Apixaban "My wife was prescribed Eliquis. It's very expensive, $526 for a month's prescription in our case. We don't have prescription coverage, so we had to pay full price. Called Eliquis to see if they could help, but since we don't have a prescription policy, they said no help and we had to pay full price. After she took three tablets, the bleeding started from her rectum, and the doctor advised us to stop the Eliquis. What a waste of money when it is taking everything we have to keep up with her cancer care for her remaining few weeks."

Apixaban "I took myself off Eliquis after taking it for several months for an internal jugular vein thrombosis due to its unbearable side effects and replaced it with baby aspirin. The side effects stopped, and I've been off it for about a month. I don't advise anyone else to do this, but it worked for me so far."

"I have been taking Eliquis for 2.5 months for treatment of a large thrombophlebitis that almost went into deep vein. Vein almost back to normal now. I was fine up until 2 weeks ago when I found blood in my urine, also had discomfort in my groin, almost like period cramps. Been for bladder ultrasound and blood work, both normal. Blood getting heavier and possibly coming from my uterus, more tests which I can’t afford! Stopped taking the drug and will see what happens next, hopefully, the bleeding will stop. Beware."

Apixaban "Anyone else feel a bladder infection sensation while on Eliquis? The constant urge to use the bathroom?"
