For Prevention of Thromboembolism in Atrial Fibrillation "I have been diagnosed with intermittent atrial fibrillation. I am 59 years old and was put on Eliquis. After a month, I have dizzy spells where I feel like I am going to faint and feel very weak. It has gotten to the point where I am scared to drive. I am also supposed to start taking Multaq, a heart pill, but I am scared due to the side effects I have read about. I am currently waiting on Multaq because I now have gallstones and will need surgery. I feel like I have no life now."

For Pulmonary Embolism "I have been on Eliquis for pulmonary embolism in both lungs. I was a healthy, active 42-year-old woman, and no reason for them. I had severe headaches, muscle weakness, and fatigue for a few weeks. I started feeling a lot better and was doing well with my usual kickboxing workout until recently. I am now experiencing fatigue and severe back pain, as well as dizziness and shortness of breath. I'm hoping I can get off of the meds in March. Anyone else experience this?"

For Pulmonary Embolism "The first two weeks I slept non-stop, had extreme vertigo, and twice had vertigo so bad that I ended up falling and hurting myself. I have had constant chest pain, palpitations, and shortness of breath. I now am having blood in my urine and have been experiencing moderate to severe back pain, as well as daily low-grade dizziness and sometimes confusion."

For Deep Vein Thrombosis "I'm 21. Despite being active, managed to get a DVT in the last weeks of pregnancy. Was on Fragmin injections, then was swapped to this tablet, 5 mg twice a day. Not noticed any physical changes to my affected leg, swelling is still apparent. Feel dizzy and on the verge of fainting more than three times a day... that's the side effect I have had."

For Deep Vein Thrombosis "Been on this med, Eliquis, for almost 2 months, but also going through chemo. Been having dizziness and feeling lightheaded. I attributed it to chemo, but after reading other reviews, can't rule out that Eliquis may be the problem."

For Deep Vein Thrombosis Prophylaxis after Knee Replacement Surgery "I would like to know if anyone else on Eliquis has experienced the following while on this med. I have had a 12-pound weight gain in three months, a cough that won’t go away, gout, balance issues, and serious joint pain. Am I the only one? Are others experiencing some of the same? Every day I wake up, my weight is up two more pounds. I am very tired all the time. Help, I feel like I am going nuts, and the doctors think I am a hypochondriac."

For Pulmonary Embolism "I had a blood clot in my leg (DVT) which caused a clot to go to my right lung (PE). Started taking the drug Eliquis at the hospital. My first prescription was filled at Walmart for $78.00 with insurance. CVS charged me $40.00 for my second prescription with insurance. I called Eliquis and did qualify for a $10.00 copay card. Yea! I've experienced nosebleeds after blowing my nose. I've had dizzy spells that feel like very low blood pressure or feel like passing out after standing. Sometimes I'm okay, but after about 20 steps, it hits me hard. I've had rashes on my hip and pectoral region of my chest. I've had to itch my arm and ended up causing a bruise. Be careful and scratch lightly. Please quit smoking if any way possible."

For Prevention of Thromboembolism in Atrial Fibrillation "I have been taking Eliquis for about 7 months due to AF. I resisted taking Eliquis forever and insisted that aspirin was doing the job. My cardiologist was nice but firm in mentioning that I have a history of strokes on the maternal side of my family. My AF got worse after 8 years of being on Flecainide, BP and cholesterol meds, so I had a cryoablation in June of 2016. So far, I have not had any bad side effects, but I do have some dizziness and occasional flushing. I also have a tendency to get rashes. Has anyone had this happen? So far, I've been fine and no AF, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it all works."

For Prevention of Thromboembolism in Atrial Fibrillation "I have been taking Eliquis 5 mg for a year and was on Xarelto for a year. Taken off of Xarelto 20 mg due to not working. Now I take 1 chewable aspirin, Crestor, and now all my cholesterol stuff is low, and Eliquis 5 mg twice a day. I mainly get the dizziness and muscle cramps. Can't blame the dizziness all on Eliquis because I also take Verapamil SR 120 mg... ugh Angie age: 51"

For Deep Vein Thrombosis "I've been on Eliquis for a little over a month now. Started on the 7 days, 20 mg, and am now on the 10 mg dose until Oct. I sometimes feel dizzy or get mild headaches while on it. The headaches come and go. I can't wait to be off it."
