Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I started to notice that I sweat a lot, so I went to the doctor yesterday, and she prescribed Hypercare. When I got home, I put it on, and about 30 minutes later, my underarms started to burn and swell and was red. I was up all night long in pain and couldn't do anything about it, and I'm still sweating today."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "Hurts way too much to continue using this product. I've taken a weeks break and still is unbearable. Wish it would have worked for me. Using Sweat Block now, doesn't work as well but there is no pain involved."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical "I was prescribed Drysol because I found a lump in my armpit, and my doctor thought it could be a clogged pore. The lump was gone within a week, and so was any sweat! It wasn't painful for me, sometimes a little bit of itchiness, but that's it. I just want to say to anyone who is experiencing pain, make sure you do not apply to freshly shaved armpits! The pharmacist told me this, one time I had shaved but forgot to put the Drysol on before, so I had to put it on after. I was in a lot of pain, and it was very itchy. Otherwise, this is a great product! I do sweat a lot on my hands and feet, but when I use Drysol, it will stop for weeks!"

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "I'm a female in my 20s and since I can remember, I have always struggled with excess, embarrassing sweating. This is the only product that has seemed to prevent my armpit stains entirely. But this product comes with a price. I do have sensitive skin, so I get a very abnormal severe rash when using Certain Dri. My armpits get a harsh red rash, and I have a hard time sleeping with it on because it says to apply at night. However, this rash is painful and itchy, so it is hard to relax and fall asleep, but in trade, you really will NOT sweat at all. I can finally wear white T-shirts without worrying about pit stains. I highly recommend NOT shaving your armpits before using at least 1-2 days because it makes them way more irritated and the rash can be worse. Also, the rash was noticeable to my friends because I was in a swimsuit, and they could notice it was bright red. Pick your battles between having an itchy, painful rash while sleeping or not sweating for 3-4 days. I only apply 2x a week between shaving my armpits."

For Hyperhidrosis "I've never had any reaction to a prescription, but this one started a bad tightening in my throat. I can't swallow, it's awful. I am throwing it out. I'd rather sweat than feel this pain, it's horrible."

Aluminum chloride hexahydrate topical for Hyperhidrosis "Ever since middle school, I have suffered from hyperhidrosis since I was 12. My problem area was my armpits, and I was very self-conscious. Although this product has helped with the sweating, it doesn't always work but ALWAYS causes extreme pain, rashes, and itching. There were times when I would feel like crying because of the pain. The product isn't terrible and certainly works, but is NOT WORTH THE PAIN."
