For Hyperhidrosis "Although Drysol does work, it is also very painful for me. When I apply, and even hours after, I have pain in my armpits. They are completely bumpy with red rashes, and the burning is the worst part. The morning after I apply it, the redness dies down, and so does the pain. The sweating does go away, and this product would be perfect without the horrible side effects it gives me! Overall, I feel that the product is not worth the pain I go through when and after applying."

For Hyperhidrosis "I have been using Drysol for close to 16 years now... I love it. My story is very similar to several I have read on this site. I had a terrible problem with underarm sweat - to the point of putting washcloths under my arms. It was so bad I could not wear sweaters in the winter because I would soak them. When I started using Drysol, I had the typical itching and burning for a few weeks. The more I have used it, the less the problem. Now, I only itch if I get too far out from under my armpit and put the solution on skin not used to it. When I first started using Drysol, I was an every-other-day user. Now, in the winter, I can go 6 to 8 days. In the summer, I go 3 to 4 days - I live in Atlanta, GA, and we reached 98 yesterday."

For Hyperhidrosis "I slowly noticed I would be sweating even when I was laying down doing nothing. I knew something was up when I was freezing cold but sweating like a pig. Only my underarms. It got so bad I had to start putting paper towels in my shirts, otherwise, my shirt would be soaked, and I’d have to change it. Let’s just say I was miserable. I didn’t think there was a cure for it. I basically accepted it. Then my best friend told me her husband has hyperhidrosis. So I did my research and went to see the doc. Turns out that’s what I have. She prescribed me Drysol. I didn’t think it would work. I tried all OTC ones. Nothing worked. I am amazed with this. The first night I tried it, I woke up the next day with no sweat. DRY! I was so happy. The only downfall is the itching and burning. I only had some slight redness. This is my second night I’ve done it. So I’m going to take a break and see how long I can go. But so far, it’s been a miracle. And I feel so much happier. Highly recommend."

For Hyperhidrosis "This stuff is amazing! Everyone in the world who suffers from hyperhidrosis should use this product! I started sweating excessively in the 10th grade, and I tried every antiperspirant on the market (and a substantial amount of home remedies), and absolutely NOTHING worked. In the spring of my senior year, I decided to see a doctor about it. He prescribed Drysol, and I started using it that night. It took a few days to work, and it itched and burned pretty badly, but now I'm in college, and I never have to worry about what to wear or sitting through a lecture. Bone dry every day! Drysol rocks!"

For Hyperhidrosis "I finally was able to use Drysol after years of dealing with excessive sweating. The first night I used it, I felt very mild itching about 40 minutes after application. The next day, I didn’t sweat at all! The following night, I applied the same amount to my underarms and dealt with EXTREME burning and a red rash that lasted hours. Drysol definitely works, but be careful if you have any skin sensitivities or don’t want to deal with the excruciating pain :("

For Hyperhidrosis "I have excessive underarm sweating, and I thought I would give Drysol a go, which is an over-the-counter medicine here in Canada. I was hoping that it would work, and I could wear clothes instead of putting on jackets in the summer. On my first application, I dried my armpits and slowly applied it around my armpit and only noticed a little tingling sensation at first. During the night, it itched a little bit, but nothing too bad. The next day, I noticed I was still sweating, so I thought it would work the next day. On the 3rd night I applied it, my armpit started to burn really badly. It burned to the point where I couldn't sleep all night, and I was still sweating like before."

For Hyperhidrosis "Drysol has seriously changed my life! I have excessive sweating on my scalp and face. No matter where I went, sweat would be pouring down my face like a waterfall. The biggest issue I had with the sweating was at work as I was serving food, and obviously, nobody wants to be served by the sweaty girl. Some days I didn't even want to go to class because my face would be dripping with sweat. I was recommended Drysol by a dermatologist, but I was told that it would sting a lot, but I was willing to try anything. Let me warn you that it burns like crazy. You will want to wash it off, but stay strong, it is worth it. I applied it on my face for 3 nights and my scalp for 2 nights, and I am dry as a bone!!! Drysol has forever changed my life."

For Hyperhidrosis "This is hands down the best thing that has ever happened in my life. My problem areas are my hands and feet. They would sweat so bad, the sweat would appear through my sandals, and my hands would stick to my paper when writing in school. So embarrassing. I used Drysol for 3 consecutive nights, and after the 3rd night, I was sweat free! I did not experience burning and itching until the third night, and, boy, was it uncomfortable to sleep in. I now only use it once a week, but will cut down later on in the year. Drysol did make my hands very dry to the point when I rub them together, the dead skin/flakes would fall off (and a lot of it). I am in search of a good hand cream, but I am in no rush because dry hands are better than sweaty ones."

For Hyperhidrosis "Around the age of 12, I started noticing how much I was sweating, and it wasn't normal. I was sweating the most under my arms, hands, and feet. It was so bad I'd be embarrassed to shake someone's hand, wear sandals, and colored shirts. I'd feel sweat drip under my arms, and my hands would leave sweat marks on my desk/papers. I told my dermatologist, and he recommended Drysol. I've been using it for 4 days, and I can genuinely tell you it's helped about 75%. I'm really pleased because my sweating was way worse than most people with hyperhidrosis, and nothing else was helping me (certain dry, Hypercare). However, some nights when I apply it, my underarms are burning and itching, but I try not to touch it & just go to sleep. I strongly recommend it."

For Hyperhidrosis "Ok, so I’ve been suffering with hyperhidrosis for as long as I remember, maybe 8th grade. Well, I’m in my 30s, and I used Drysol for the first time last night. Today, no unnecessary sweating or anxiety about it. Will continue use. Side effects: it burns like anything, and I did have some rashes from it. I’m a Black woman, and this is a game changer for my face and pits!"

For Hyperhidrosis "Drysol works very well. If you let your underarms completely dry, either by themselves or with a blow-dryer on a low setting, there should be no irritation. If there is any continuous itching or burning, simply watch your armpits and dry them. Use sparingly."

For Hyperhidrosis "I am 19 years old, and I have been so embarrassed by my excessive underarm sweat for as long as I can remember. The worst was when I realized that I would sweat more from my underarms than the guys I hung out with. I tried every 'prescription strength' and 'clinical strength' over-the-counter product that I could find (I even tried men's clinical strength antiperspirant/deodorant), and nothing gave me relief. Finally, I talked to my doctor, and she mentioned Drysol. I have very sensitive skin, and when I had to use it for the first 2-3 days in a row, I had excessive itching and burning, and a rash, but I toughed it out, and now I no longer have the burning or rash. I have been using the product for 2 weeks now, and I couldn't be happier!"

For Hyperhidrosis "This is the best solution to underarm sweating. I did experience one problem, a little burning under my left arm. After I washed the Drysol off of my left arm and applied some irritation ointment, and then the Drysol, everything was great. I have been dry all day today, and I have only used Drysol for 1 night. I'm so loving this. I can't wait to go to Miami, I can wear any shirt or blouse I want. I'm so hyped, I give this medication two thumbs up."

For Hyperhidrosis "This product is a godsend. Minor burning sensation after applying and in the morning until I shower, but you have to weigh the positives with the negatives. I used to be drenched under my armpits, but now I can go a full 8+ hour shift without even noticing any sweat."

For Hyperhidrosis "This stuff really does work. My right underarm would sweat almost instantly and would leave the biggest stain. Since using Drysol, that has stopped. The only downside is how badly it burns. It burns and itches so badly when you first apply it, but the results are so good that the temporary burn is almost worth it."

For Hyperhidrosis "I have had extreme underarm sweating since I was about 13. I was too embarrassed to go to a doctor about this problem. I used every deodorant and antiperspirant available, nothing worked. I would sit and do absolutely nothing and have my underarms soaked with huge pit stains. I thought there was no cure. I recently went to my doctor because I'm now 21 and married and don't want to deal with this anymore. I got prescribed Drysol, and let me tell you, I was really skeptical. I put it on at night, and it did burn and itch, but nothing horrible I couldn't stand. The next morning I went to work and wore a tight colored shirt, and no sweat, not even a drop. I almost cried, I was so happy. It really works! Try this if you haven't already!"

For Hyperhidrosis "Drysol works! My dermatologist recommended it to me as a last resort before getting Botox shots. I was hesitant because I've tried Driclor, Perspirex, and CertainDri, and they've lost their longevity in a matter of days and didn't work for me, but Drysol seems to prove different. It doesn't really burn much and dries fast, and it keeps me dry with every application I've used, and so far, almost a month of using it, and it's still working wonders! I feel all the other hyperhidrosis antiperspirants I've used in the past can't even compete because they're complete knockoffs compared to Drysol! I'm so happy I was prescribed this! I highly recommend it!"

For Hyperhidrosis "I have spent over a decade sweating through everything, ruining every shirt and sweater I bought. My coworkers even know me as the sweaty one, applying deodorant throughout the day (even though, let’s be honest, I’d sweat the second I’d stop rolling it on). A few weeks ago, my supervisor told me she had a similar problem and used some prescription med before bedtime 15 years ago and it changed her life. She wasn’t sure if they still had it available, but hey, worth a shot, right? I spoke with my Dr., and he prescribed Drysol. Last night was my first application. I read the instructions thoroughly. It was pretty itchy, but not unbearable. IT'S A MIRACLE! I didn’t sweat at all today! I just applied my second application, and oh my god, guys, it burns. It’s starting to lessen, but wow, this stuff stings! I definitely won’t apply tomorrow and will see how long I can go in between. But so far, I’m amazed!"

For Hyperhidrosis "I've had hyperhidrosis since middle school. It was my armpits. They sweat something awful. It could've been 3 degrees outside, and I looked like I just ran a 20-mile marathon. I was prescribed Drysol and didn't read the directions, so I just went home and put it on. It made my armpits extremely itchy and red, it also burned. So I figured it doesn't work... It sat on a shelf for years while I struggled with hyperhidrosis. Then one day, I decided to try it out again and got a new prescription for it. I followed the directions and didn't shave before use and put it on before I went to bed. I also didn't wear deodorant the following day. I stopped sweating, it was a miracle. I was mad at myself that I had the cure sitting right there the whole time."

For Hyperhidrosis "I've been using Drysol for about a year and a half now and got my 2nd refill about a month ago. With my first bottle, there were no complications. The product rolled on nicely, and I didn't sweat at all. With my 2nd bottle, not the same results. The product has caused severe burning and irritation under my arms, and nothing I do stops it. Even using cold water to close the pores."

For Hyperhidrosis "I have had a problem with underarm sweat for years now. My shirts get drenched. It's so embarrassing. I have tried every over-the-counter clinical strength, and nothing works. I even asked my doctor about it, and she declined giving me a prescription strength, saying that they don't work! She wanted to send me to a dermatologist right away for laser treatments or Botox. I didn't want to do that. So I kept suffering. Until last week, I did an internet search on sweaty underarms, and I found Drysol. It arrived this weekend, I have used it 3 nights now, and I am totally dry! It does burn and itch some at night, but that is totally fine with me! Because I feel like I have a new lease on life! It's a life changer for me. Drysol rocks!!!"

For Hyperhidrosis "So far, so good! It’s been 3 whole days since I’ve sweat under my armpits. I tried Carpe, and it burned, not to mention it didn’t work. But I have a really good man that makes me nervous, and I sweat so badly when he’s around, it’s embarrassing."

For Hyperhidrosis "Amazing product. I've only been using it for two days now, but already I'm hardly sweating at all under my arms anymore. Yes, it burns, but it's so worth it. If it continues to work for me, then this is literally a life-changing product."

For Hyperhidrosis "I have been struggling with excessive underarm sweat since I hit puberty. I had tried literally everything, and nothing even slightly helped. One day, I was at the drugstore and spotted Drysol. I was a bit reluctant about the price, but my desperation decided to give it a shot. Just after a few nights of using the product, I saw results. Using Drysol has literally been the best decision of my life. I am no longer anxious and embarrassed about my underarms and can wear anything I'd like!!! Although it did make it hard to sleep at night due to the itchiness and slight burning, I say it's totally worth it, and eventually, I got used to it, and it wasn't so bad. Definitely recommend!!!"

For Hyperhidrosis "This works amazingly. I've had a problem with sweating for so long, and this was a lifesaver for me. However, if you get it prescribed by a doctor, I recommend that you test how often you put it on yourself. I recently had Hypercare, which, according to my pharmacist, had the same exact ingredients as Drysol, so my doctor told me how much to put on a week, etc. But a horrible burning and redness happened in my armpit, and a lump came about from using it too often. So seriously use this sparingly and test it yourself how often to use it. Everyone is different, so you may only need to use it a couple times a month or week, etc.! Just a warning for new users!"
