Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I am not your typical user! Did Muse at least 50 times. This I know. Every erection is always different, but ALWAYS BETTER for that day with Muse. Sure, there might be pain in your penis, but look at the color of it. Bright purple, right? That's because there is more blood in there than even in your youth! Did 5 minutes a day on an elliptical machine, reaching 15 minutes after a month. Did a Muse 1000 mcg and had a 4-hour porn star performance. Could have hit it with a board, only an ice-cold shower brought it down!"

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Only been using for about 4 months... I'm injecting 20mcg. Does anyone else experience burning pain after about 10 mins up until the penis loses the erection. I've had erection for more than 4hrs. But the burning sensation spoils it for me and can't ejaculated either. There's no pain on injection so anybody new don't be worried about injecting."

Caverject Impulse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I went to a clinic, and after discussion, I had an injection. Amazing result. I now use Caverject Impulse on a regular basis. It's magic. By the way, I'm 77, and I use the 20 mg unit. Erection lasts up to three hours, no pain."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Tried it once by itself, very slight results after three minutes that lasted only about five minutes, and caused a lot of penile pain that lasted over an hour. Tried a second time after taking Cialis first, as suggested by the urologist, and it was even less effective with very slight results that lasted less than five minutes."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I had my prostate removed 5 months ago, bladder is still settling down, but no erection. Tried Viagra numerous times with no success. As of today, injected the needle at the doctor's and up he came. My wife is so happy and me too."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Excellent results in the first try; removing years of disappointments. As a diabetic, the use of needles is not new, but I was unsure of this location and possible errors. It was easy, accurate, and without side effects."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "The first time I tried Muse (1000 mcg), I took the foil pouch from the refrigerator and placed it on the counter for 15 minutes. After unwrapping the applicator, and while standing, I lubricated the applicator with K-Y and held my penis upright. While pulling my foreskin back to expose my urethra, I inserted the applicator into the shaft. As the applicator was traveling through the head, it felt warm and expanded. After inserting the rest of the way and then pressing the button, I could feel a sharp warming feeling, and I could feel the sensation of the suppository traveling downward toward the base. I did not roll my penis as instructed, but I located the absorbing suppository in my urethra and gently massaged until I could feel most of the absorption at the lower half of my shaft. My erection proceeded from there very slowly and gave me a warm/tingly sensation but no urethral burning. My penis erection was rigid to penetrate, but not as hard as one of my better erections."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Tried Muse for the first time tonight, and, well, not very impressed yet. It gave me the initial erection but did not last long at all, not even an hour. I am on many meds for diabetes, though, so I'm sure that played a part. I will try it again for sure, though. Also, I am only on the 250 mcg dose. I would say it's a start, though, much better than what has been going on."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I use Edex 40mg and take 10 mg of Levitra. I can sustain an erection easily for one hour. I hold off climax as long as possible. When I feel that I may lose my erection, I hasten to climax. It usually stays erect for a little while after climax. I am pretty satisfied with the product. No side effects from Edex, but I have a heavy head from the Levitra. I am 75."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Applying was easy into the urethra. 5-10 minutes, you feel a slight burning in the penis. But a good type of burning. You can feel the blood entering the penis and it stays there with a little rubbing. Only side effects are slight burning and aching. Lasts for me 2 hours. I am a healthy 70-year-old retired physical education teacher who looks 55. So much better than the ED pills without side effects."

Caverject Impulse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Allows me to have an erection and have sex. I swap the needle in the package for a 31g insulin needle. Slides in without having to jab, with no discomfort. The impulse device is good, but I find that I would like a finer control over the dose instead of the 5 MCG units. I have no recognized side effects."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I started using Caverject some 8 months ago.  I started with 7.5ugm dose. It gave results in about 3 to 5 minutes while  massaging the injection site for 90 seconds to distribute the active component.   I have had to increase the dose rate over this 8 month period from 7.5ugm to now 15ugm.  It appears to have lost its potency and less rigid erections for about 45 minutes whereas before it for 90 minutes and hard.  This has been noticed by my partner.  Are other users finding this issue?  Here in Australia you can only get Caverject up to 20ugm."

For Erectile Dysfunction "A nurse showed how to inject with a small amount, and I could feel it working. When I got it, I used the full amount, and my life changed. The only problem I have with it is my 65-year-old wife. She can't keep up with me and says I am much bigger now. I don't know about that, but it makes me feel like I was 20 years old again. My sex life would be better than it has ever been if my wife had something like this drug she could use. But I understand where she is coming from, so we just pace ourselves. This drug is a godsend for me, life without testicles and no libido is hell. I love this drug, it works for me!!!"

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Sometimes causes a small bruise (pencil point size) to as large as 1 inch by 4 inches (twice). Must add, very infrequently bruised, as I've learned to be careful at the injection site. Been using 40mg Edex for about 6 years. Like it better than Caverject (5 years) for ease of injection and preparation. Twice had gotten bent needles, but called Edex, and the medication was replaced free through my provider. Sometimes use a 'ring' with the medication. Gave a 9 instead of 10 because of bruising."

For Erectile Dysfunction "I use Caverject on average 3 times a week as I have a younger partner. With an erection that lasts at least an hour, it can satisfy her. I replaced the needles that come with the Impulse for finer, shorter ones used on insulin pens: 8 mm x 31G. That length is quite adequate to get the medication where it has to go, yet not long enough to stick into the urethra. You do have to make sure you massage your penis to disperse the medication, or you may not get a result. I have no side effects, and there is no pain during the injecting apart from a slight prick. To me, it is the answer to my prayers."

For Erectile Dysfunction "I have used 20 injections of alprostadil. The erections have been better than I expected. Most of the time my erection has lasted for 2 to 3 hours, and I have been perfectly satisfied and happy with the results. A few times I had some pain, but I have decreased the dose, and it works fine now. I don't like to inject my penis, but I must say the gain is worth the pain."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "This is the only product of all the ED medications that gives you a full and firm erection, takes about 20 minutes and lasts over a hour, I have been using this product for over 5 years, the only thing is its very expensive and I don't have insurance and they do not offer any discounts"

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "A miracle drug that changed my life... I tried all the pills and felt that I was at the end of the road and just accept I have ED... I tried Edex shot injections and it was a life changer as far as intimacy with my wife. It has been amazing. I highly recommend to anyone with this problem."

For Erectile Dysfunction "I'm 66, in good health except for high blood pressure, and have been using Edex for almost 4 years now at the lowest dosage. It works most of the time, giving a fast erection (in 5 minutes or less) and a reasonably long-lasting one. This isn't as effective (neither as hard nor as long-lasting) as the 'cocktails' found at the various 'men's medical clinics' you hear advertised on the radio, but if it's covered by insurance, it's far less expensive. Sometimes there is a lingering pain in the penis for several hours afterwards with the alprostadil, but the results are worth it!"

Caverject Impulse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I had my prostate removed 13 months ago and was advised by my urologist and prostate nurse to commence a rehab program of 5 mg Cialis daily and include a pump routine (I do 6 x 5 minutes, one to two daily), which has almost returned my length and girth to square one. As I hadn't been achieving an erection adequate for penetration, my urologist instructed me on injecting Caverject Impulse 10 mcg last Friday with great results. On Monday at home, I self-injected 10 mcg with no pain and stayed erect for 1 1/2 hours. Although I didn't hit any small veins, it was a bit awkward finding the best spot, so this morning I decided to do a gentle pump, increasing the penis size, and injected very easily. Increasing my dose to 15 mcg was a bit tight."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Tested today with the urologist. I'm a 38-year-old diabetic in great shape, actually, but have erectile dysfunction, and nothing seems to work. They prescribed 20 mcg of Edex. We tried it at 10 mcg. Seems to work really well."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Have been using Caverject for six years now, at the beginning it was great. Injecting 20 mg. However, what the manufacturer does not tell you is each time you inject, the needle causes scarring to the penis wall. After about five years, I found it was taking longer to pee. I did not link the two together. However, recently visited a consultant and informed him of my condition. He then told me this can happen. So, advised me to now take Muse. Not so effective as the injections."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I have used Edex for over 3 years. Very positive in that it almost never fails to give me a nice, hard, durable erection within a few minutes with stimulation, maybe 2 'erection fails' in several hundred uses. The injections are painless and very easy to get used to. The cost per dose is very small. Not so positive is that for about 2 years I have had a difficult time reaching orgasm, and when I do, it often is only after very hard, intense, prolonged stimulation, almost never through intercourse alone. My urologist insists that the orgasm issue is all in my head, that the medication is giving me the erection as it is supposed to, but that there must be some other issues involved."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I have a serious heart condition. I must take nitrates to lower my blood pressure. They are the only ones that work. Taking oral ED medication lowers my blood pressure to a dangerous level. (I have ended up in the ER twice) My urologist suggested Edex, I agreed to try it. I started with 5 mcg. It is very simple to administer and it does not hurt. I was not satisfied with my erection so I chalked it up to first time jitters and too low of a dosage. The next time was even easier to administer and I bumped up to 10mcg and let me tell you, before I could dispose of the needle, vile and wash my hands, I had a raging erection. From the time of the initial injection to foreplay, intercourse (2 times) and finally falling asleep, it was close to 4 hours of an amazing erection and sex. However, I’m going back to 5mcg for my wife’s sake. It’s too much. Cheers!"
