Borrelia Burgdorferi Bacterin

For use in dogs only

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy dogs 9 weeks of age or older against Borrelia burgdorferi. The duration of immunity is at least 12 months. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, go to productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

Dose: Inject one 0.5 mL dose subcutaneously using aseptic technique. A second dose should be administered 2 to 3 weeks later.

Annual vaccination: Annual revaccination with one dose is recommended.

Precautions

Store in the dark at 35° to 46°F (2° to 8°C). AVOID FREEZING. SHAKE WELL. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Contains thimerosal as a preservative and may contain residual amounts of formalin.
