T-HEXX^® Dragonhyde^® Dust is an innovative new hoof care product which maintains long lasting hoof hygiene for the dairy cow. Easy to use - just add the appropriate amount of pre-measured pouches into 50 gallons of water and mix until the bath is a uniform blue color. It’s the only hoof bath product on the market that lets you know when its time to change the bath -simply by changing color. IF THE HOOVES ARE NOT DEEP BLUE, IT IS NOT WORKING! For best results, use this product as part of a complete hoof hygiene program.

Directions For Use

Read and follow these directions carefully. Most importantly, DO NOT OPEN THE POUCH! The Dragonhyde Dust is contained in a pre-measured water soluble pouch and will totally dissolve in the bath with minimal mixing.

Use 3 times per week, after milking.

Pre-Bath: Add one (1) pouch of Dragonhyde Dust to 50 gallons of water and mix until the bath is a uniform blue color.

Main Bath: Initial use (approximately the first two weeks), add two (2) pouches of Dragonhyde Dust to 50 gallons of water and mix until the bath is a uniform blue color. After the initial use, decrease the amount of Dragonhyde Dust to one (1) pouch to 50 gallons of water and mix until the bath is a uniform blue color.

For best results, a pre-bath is recommended.

HOOF BATH DILUTIONS:

A 50-gallon hoof bath containing one pouch of T-HEXX Dragonhyde Dust is intended to be used for up to 250 cows. If a pre-bath is used, T-HEXX Dragonhyde Dust can last up to 350 cows in the main bath. After the appropriate number of cows have walked through, or when the bath changes color, discard the hoof bath and replace with a fresh solution.

How to Calculate Hoof Bath Size:

inside length (inches) x inside width (inches) x fluid height (inches) ÷ 231 = hoof bath in gallons

Storage

Keep dry, do not puncture or open pouch. Keep storage container tightly sealed. Store in a ventilated, cool, dry area. Keep out of direct sunlight, rain, snow, or other wet conditions.

Cleaning: To remove stains (on stainless steel, fiberglass, concrete, and latex), use 0.5% Sodium Hypochlorite (1 part household bleach plus 9 parts water). For other surfaces such as ceramic, use a 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution.

FIRST AID

INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. Seek immediate medical attention.

INGESTION: HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. Drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT: In case of Dragonhyde Dust contact, flush skin with soap and water.

EYE CONTACT: CAUSES SERIOUS EYE IRRITATION. In case of eye contact, immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.

CAUTION: Do not open pre-filled pouches.

Do not allow cattle to drink.

NOT FOR USE ON HUMANS

Do not mix with other hoof bath additives.

Do not use with formaldehyde or aldehyde baths

SAFETY: Use rubber gloves when handling; Safety glasses are recommended. Do not open pre-filled pouches.
