Sulfaquinoxaline 19.2% Liquid Concentrate Indications
For the prevention and treatment of Caecal and Intestinal Coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys; and as an aid in controlling mortality in acute fowl cholera and fowl typhoid of chickens and turkeys.
Directions For Use
To reduce the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain effectiveness, use this antibiotic prudently and for the shortest duration required to achieve the desired clinical outcome.
Coccidiosis of Chickens: For prevention, mix 60 mL of Sulfaquinoxaline per 45.4 L water and administer for 2 consecutive days out of 5 from day old until 6 to 10 weeks.
Caecal Coccidiosis of Chickens: For treatment, mix 90 mL of Sulfaquinoxaline per 45.4 L water and administer for 2 to 3 days; skip 3 days; then give 60 mL per 45.4 L for the next 2 days. If bloody droppings appear, repeat treatment for 2 more days.
Coccidiosis of Turkeys: For prevention, mix 60 mL of Sulfaquinoxaline per 45.4 L water and administer for 1 day out of every 4 from day old until 7 weeks.
For treatment, mix 60 mL of Sulfaquinoxaline per 45.4 L water and administer for 2 days; skip 3 days; and treat for 3 more days.
Acute Fowl Cholera & Fowl Typhoid: Mix 90 mL of Sulfaquinoxaline per 45.4 L water and administer for 2 to 3 days; move birds to clean ground if it recurs, then medicate at 60 mL Sulfaquinoxaline per 45.4 L for another 2 days.
Warnings
Treated birds must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 12 days after the latest treatment with this drug. Do not use in laying birds.Sulfonamides can cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. When handling the product, avoid inhalation, oral exposure and direct contact with skin or eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store at room temperature (15-30°C).
