PneumoSTAR Myco Indications

This product has been shown effective for the vaccination of healthy swine 3 weeks of age or older, against disease caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. The duration of immunity for this product is at least 23 weeks. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, see productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

This product has not been tested in pregnant animals.

Directions For Use

Shake well before using. Administer 1 mL intramuscularly. For herds that need to use a 2 dose program (extreme stress/disease challenge), a second dose should be administered 2 or more weeks following the first dose. The need for annual booster vaccinations has not been established for this product. The presence of maternal antibody is known to interfere with the development of active immunity in piglets and additional boosters will be required in most young animals. For advice on revaccination frequency, in general, in the face of maternal antibody, stress, or a disease exposure, consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.

Precautions

Store out of direct sunlight at 2° to 8°C (35° to 46°F). DO NOT FREEZE. Do not mix with other products except as specified on the label. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 60 days prior to slaughter. Anaphylactic reactions may occur. Symptomatic treatment: Epinephrine.

Contains thimerosal as a preservative. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
