Nia-Plus Indications
NIA-PLUS is a vitamin supplement for dairy cattle. It provides certain vitamins to help ensure normal nutritional levels after calving.
DOSAGE:
ON FEED - FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Add 300 g (one syringe) to the grain ration, 6 - 12 hours following calving. Repeat daily if necessary for 6 days or as directed by a veterinarian.
ORAL FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
300 g (one syringe) 6 - 12 hours following calving. Repeat daily if necessary for 6 days or as directed by a veterinarian.
1. Animal's mouth must be free of food.
2. Insert nozzle of syringe through the interdental space and deposit the paste on the back of the tongue by depressing the plunger.
CAUTIONS:
Because of the acid properties of this paste, caution should be exercised to avoid any damage to the mouth and pharynx while administering.
If there are no improvements of clinical signs within 24 hours after beginning this treatment, or if the condition worsens, consult your veterinarian.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not administer to cows showing no swallowing reflex.
