PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
WARNING - HAZARDS TO HUMANS: Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Wear appropriate eyewear (such as goggles or face shield). Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water promptly after use and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.
HAZARDS TO ANIMALS: Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not treat foals under 12 weeks of age unless prescribed by a veterinarian. Do not apply over cuts, wounds, or irritated skin. Do not allow the product to contact animal’s eyes, nose, or mouth. Apply sparingly around ears. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for animals. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the animal with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant, or nursing animals.
FIRST AID
IF IN EYES
● Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 - 20 minutes.
● Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.
● Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.
Have the product container or label with you when calling a Poison Control Center or doctor, or going for treatment. For additional information on this pesticide product (including health concerns, medical emergencies or pesticide incidents), you may call 1-800-234-2269, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.
Environmental Hazards
This product is extremely toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. This product may contaminate water through run-off. This product has potential for run-off for several months or more after application. Poorly draining soils or soils with shallow water tables are more prone to produce run-off that contains this product. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters or rinsate. See Directions for Use for additional precautions and requirements. This pesticide is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are actively visiting the treatment area.
Physical Or Chemical Hazards
FLAMMABLE. Keep away from heat and open flame. Contains alcohol. Do not apply to painted or finished wood surfaces.
Directions For Use
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
USE RESTRICTIONS
● Do not contaminate food or feedstuffs.
● Read and follow all directions and precautions on the product label.
● THIS PRODUCT IS FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
● Not for broadcast use on indoor residential surfaces.
● Not for use on horses or foals intended for slaughter.
● Not for use in outdoor residential misting systems (indoor or outdoor).
● Do not breathe vapors or spray mist.
● Do not spray when food is present.
● Do not apply more than 1 time per day.
● Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water before application.
● Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food preparation surfaces, or wash them before use.
● Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.
● Do not apply this product in a way that will contact adults, children, or pets, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the treated area during application.
● Application of this product is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to storm sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow this product to enter any drain during or after application.
● Remove pets, birds, and cover fish aquariums before spraying.
USE ONLY IN WELL VENTILATED AREA
HOLD BOTTLE IN UPRIGHT POSITION WHEN SPRAYING
For initial treatment, apply daily for 2-3 days. After initial application, retreatment would be appropriate one to two times weekly. Retreat every 3-5 days after initial treatment. Also reapply every time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain.
Horses, Ponies and Foals: Thoroughly brush the horse’s coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, and as a preparation for show grooming, clean the coat with a shampoo. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying spray. Cover entire surface of animal with spray but avoid getting product into horse’s eyes or other sensitive areas such as mouth or nose. Brush coat against grain while spraying to insure adequate penetration of product. As a wipe, apply with a clean cloth or sponge. Make sure spray has completely dried before covering with any tack. Do not use on horses or foals intended for slaughter.
Storage And Disposal
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool, dry (preferably locked) area that is inaccessible to children and pets and away from heat, sparks, or open flames. If a leaky container must be contained within another, mark the outer container to identify the contents. Do not store near heat or open flame. Store pesticides away from food, pet food, seed, fertilizers, and veterinary supplies.
Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
Container Disposal: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. If Empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
