This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy swine 3 weeks of age or older against porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2). The onset of protection is 2 weeks post-vaccination. The duration of immunity is at least 4 months. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data go to productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

The product contains PCV2a, and has been shown to be effective against lymphoid depletion, inflammation and colonization of lymphoid tissue, and the magnitude of viremia.

Directions and dosage: Shake well before use. Using aseptic technique, administer a single 1 mL dose by intramuscular injection.

Precautions

Store out of direct sunlight at 35 - 46°F (2 - 8°C). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Do not mix with other products. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Preservative: Neomycin.
