Essential 4This treatment applies to the following species:
CLOSTRIDIUM CHAUVOEI-SEPTICUM-NOVYI-SORDELLII BACTERIN-TOXOID
For use in healthy cattle, sheep and goats as an aid in the prevention of Blackleg, Malignant Edema, Black Disease, and Clostridium sordellii infection.
Product is aluminum hydroxide adsorbed.
Contains thimerosal as a preservative.
Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened. Store at 2° to 7°C. Do not freeze.
Anaphylactoid reaction may occur following administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenalin or equivalent.
Essential 4 Dosage And Administration
Inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Cattle: 5 ml. Sheep and Goats: 2 1/2 ml injected subcutaneously. Revaccination with a bacterin containing Clostridium sordellii at 2 to 4 weeks, a repeat dose every 5 to 6 months in animals subject to re-exposure to Clostridium novyi, and revaccination of calves vaccinated under 3 months of age at weaning or 4 to 6 months of age.
