CLOSTRIDIUM CHAUVOEI-SEPTICUM BACTERIN

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cattle, sheep, and goats against Blackleg due to C. chauvoei and Malignant Edema due to C. septicum. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use. The duration of immunity is unknown. Safety in pregnant animals is unknown.

Contains thimerosal and formalin as preservatives.

Directions For Use

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened. Store at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products.

Precautions

Anaphylactoid reaction may occur following administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenalin or equivalent. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION: Inject 2 ml SC. Calves vaccinated under 3 months of age should be revaccinated at weaning or at 4 - 6 months of age. Historically, annual vaccination is recommended. Contact veterinarian for advice.
