CLOSTRIDIUM HAEMOLYTICUM BACTERIN

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cattle, sheep, and goats against Red Water Disease (Bacillary Hemoglobinuria) infection. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use. The duration of immunity is unknown. Safety in pregnant animals is unknown.

Contains thimerosal and formalin as preservatives.

Directions For Use

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Shake well before use. Use entire contents when first opened. Store at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products.

Precautions

Anaphylactoid reaction may occur following administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenalin or equivalent. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION: Inject 2 ml SC or IM. Historically, revaccination annually and every 5 to 6 months in animals subject to re-exposure is recommended. Consult a veterinarian for advice. Spring vaccination is recommended.
