Directions For Use
Use Envirocid Plus for an acidified rinse program on all equipment at a concentration of 1.0 mL/L (1.0 US fl oz/7.0 US Gal) in cold water (where applicable) for 5-10 minutes. Concentration may need to be adjusted depending on alkalinity of water and alkaline wash residual in circuit. Acid rinse pH should be 4-5.
Use Envirocid Plus for acid wash CIP applications at a concentration of 3.9 - 15.6 mL/L of water (0.5 - 2.0 US fl oz/1.0 US gal). Circulate at 66 - 71°C (150 - 160°F). It is not recommended to use more than 2.0 ounces per 1.0 gallon of water (15.6 mL/L) due to the possibility of calcium sulfate formation. Rinse with potable water.
Use Envirocid Plus for COP applications at a concentration of 1.1 mL/L (1.0 US fl oz/7.0 US gal) in cold water for 10 minutes for acidified rinse.
For Agriculture Use
Cleaning Pipelines:
1. Pre-flush pipelines and milking units with large volume of potable water.
2. Prepare wash solution using proper use dilution of an appropriate chlorinated alkaline cleaner following label directions carefully.
3. Circulate wash solution through system for 8-10 minutes. Brush-wash all parts not coming in contact with the wash solution. Wear impervious gloves when brush-washing equipment.
4. Rinse with large volume of potable water to remove all wash solution. Allow to drain.
5. Finish with acidified water rinse. Add 0.78 mL of Envirocid Plus per Liter of potable water (1 US fl oz/10 US Gal). Rinse system and allow to drain.
6. Just before milking (no sooner than 30 minutes), sanitize by circulating proper ppm solution of a recommended sanitizer. Drain completely.
Cleaning Bulk Tanks:
1. Pre-flush bulk tank with large volume of potable water.
2. Prepare wash solution in volume necessary to properly operate the spray device, using proper use dilution of an appropriate chlorinated alkaline cleaner following label directions carefully.
3. Spray-wash for 8-10 minutes. Disconnect return line and drain. Inspect all milk zone surfaces for cleanliness. Prepare wash solution using 30 gms of a chlorinated manual cleaner per Litre of hot water (4 US oz/US Gal). Brush-wash valve, outside of tank and any part of tank not cleaned by spraying system. Wear impervious gloves when brush-washing equipment.
4. Rinse inside and outside of bulk tank with potable water to remove all wash solution. Allow to drain.
5. See steps 5 and 6 above.
*Where local or state regulations are in effect, consult authorities for additional information.
