FOR USE ONLY ON DOGS OVER 8 WEEKS OLD: DO NOT use on dogs under 8 weeks of age or nursing animals. Consult a veterinarian before using on sick, aged, pregnant animals or animals receiving drug or other pesticide treatment. DO NOT Use on Cats. Do NOT administer by mouth. Use ONLY in well-ventilated areas, preferably outdoors. This product contains permethrin. DO NOT apply another pest control product such as a spot on, collar or powder which contains permethrin to the treated animal when using this product. Avoid contact with treated animals until dried. This product is ready to use. No further dilution is required. Its special formula is non-irritating to dogs and has no conspicuous odor. Water, not petroleum distillates, is used as the diluent.
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Apply this product with the attached trigger sprayer.
HOW TO PRIME AND CARE FOR YOUR TRIGGER SPRAYER
1. After shaking product well, remove cap from container and replace with sprayer hose and cap assembly. Tighten securely.
2. Turn sprayer nozzle one-half turn counter-clockwise. Hold sprayer below the level of container and prime by pumping trigger 10-15 times until product is dispensed. Adjust nozzle to fine spray or jet stream as required.
3. After each use, thoroughly flush sprayer and hose with water. Return hose and cap assembly to container, tighten securely. Turn nozzle to “OFF” position and store above level of liquid in container to prevent leakage.
NOTE: If sprayer does not function properly, remove nozzle cover and check nozzle hole and holes in rubber component for obstructions. Check to make sure nozzle is not in “OFF” position. Replace nozzle cover, return sprayer assembly to container and proceed.
To control fleas and ticks thoroughly cover the entire animal with a light mist. DO NOT wet fur or skin. Spray ticks directly. Only spray until the fur is damp - not wet. Apply 10 mL for each kg of weight of animal. Hold container in upright position and spray the dog. Spray the entire body of the dog, beginning at the tail and working towards the head. Wearing rubber gloves, fluff the fur of the animal to distribute this product evenly over the fur. DO NOT apply/spray to animal’s face, eyes, nose, mouth or genitals. Spray ticks directly. Pay special attention to neck,
hindquarters, areas under legs, around the tail and between toes. Do not use this spray more often than once every two weeks. Treatment must only be repeated if pest problem reoccurs. A veterinarian should be consulted when pest infestation continues to be a problem on the pet.
For effective flea and tick control, treatment of the pet should be combined with the sanitation of any area used by the pet. Vacuum floors, carpets, and furniture (discard vacuum bag after use) and wash the pet’s bedding, living quarters, and surrounding areas. Then use this product on sleeping quarters, cleaned bedding and area around where animal sleeps most often. If pest problems persist, a premise treatment with an insecticide labelled for that use may be required.
