PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS - CAUTION

Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants, shoes plus socks, and chemical-resistant gloves. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

FIRST AID

Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

If on Skin or Clothing

● Take off contaminated clothing.

● Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

If Swallowed

● Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

● Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow.

● Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor.

● Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

If in Eyes

● Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes.

● Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Wear long-sleeved shirt and pants, shoes plus socks and chemical-resistant gloves. Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

USER RECOMMENDATIONS

Users should:

● Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

● Remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

● Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans, or other waters unless in accordance with the requirements of a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge. Do not discharge effluent containing this product to sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority. For guidance, contact your State Water Board or Regional Office of the EPA.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Products formulated with this product must be registered by the EPA. For formulation into end-use products intended to be used in animal food processing or manufactured products, and animal food or feed containers or dispensers.

Products formulated with this product may be fed to beef and dairy cattle, including breeding cattle, lactating dairy cattle, growing and finishing cattle and calves, either in dry lot or on pasture up to slaughter and to lactating dairy cows without withholding milk from market during or after treatment.

ClariFly® Larvicide Manufacturing Use Product 8% is used as a starting material for manufacturing of EPA-registered supplements and premixes containing diflubenzuron, such as 0.67% diflubenzuron cattle supplement (270-380) and 0.04% diflubenzuron supplement (270-381).

ClariFly® Larvicide Manufacturing Use Product 8% is a specially formulated granular material for use in cattle feeds. It is approved for use in EPA-registered supplements and premixes.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL - Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store pesticide in original container in a dry place.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this pesticide may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

CONTAINER HANDLING: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Completely empty bag into mixing equipment. Then dispose of empty bag in a sanitary landfill or by incineration or if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.

Seller warrants that this material conforms to its chemical description and is reasonably fit for the purposes stated on the label when used in accordance with directions under normal conditions of use and Buyer assumes the risk of any use contrary to such directions. Seller makes no other express or implied warranty of Fitness or of Merchantability, and no agent of Seller is authorized to do so except in writing and with specific reference to this warranty. To the extent consistent with applicable law, Seller’s liability for any breach of warranty shall not exceed the purchase price of the material as to which claim is made.
