PURPOSE:

Now fortified with Egg Product, CalviKick™ Colostrum Replacer provides newborn calves with 180 grams of globulin protein in a single feeding, plus a blend of essential nutrients needed at birth. CalviKick™ is the first step in providing adequate nutrition to maintain a healthy immune system.

MIXING AND FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:

Using the chart below add dry CalviKick™ powder to clean, warm water at 110-120°F (43-49°C) and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Allow the solution to cool to 90-100°F (32-38°C) before feeding. Feed the entire volume of solution as soon as possible after birth (within 2 hours if possible). Begin feeding calf milk replacer at the next feeding 6-12 hours later.

IMPORTANT:

Every calf is an individual. The directions above are written for a calf that is about 75-100 pounds at birth. Adjust the amounts fed according to the calf’s body weight, the environmental conditions and the levels of calf disease on your farm. Consult with your veterinarian or nutritionist if you have questions.

STORAGE AND HANDLING:

Store dry CalivKick™ powder in a cool, dry place. Best if used within 12 months of manufacture. Feed mixed CalviKick™ solution immediately - do not store reconstituted colostrum replacer.
