BreathaLyser Chlorhexidine 0.12% Oral Rinse Indications

BreathaLyser Chlorhexidine 0.12% Oral Rinse is an antiseptic solution that assists in the daily maintenance of a healthy and pleasant smelling mouth in dogs and cats.

Active Ingredients

CHLORHEXIDINE GLUCONATE 0.12% W/W

Inactive Ingredients

PURIFIED WATER, CORN SYRUP, SORBITOL, HYDROXYETHYL CELLULOSE, SODIUM BENZOATE, CITRIC ACID, MINT FLAVOUR

Directions For Use

Apply once daily or according to the recommendations of your veterinarian. Do not rinse after application. For best results, use an applicator such as a soft-bristled toothbrush.

For Use With Applicator: Place a small amount of BreathaLyser Chlorhexidine 0.12% Oral Rinse in a container and dip the applicator in the solution. Carefully brush the animal’s teeth in a gentle, circular motion. Remoisten the applicator as needed. Do not brush for more than two minutes.

For Use As Rinse: Place the spout inside the cheek, gently squeeze the bottle to place a small amount (2-4 mL) between the cheek and the gums. Massage for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Repeat on opposite side.

Contraindications

Dogs and cats that are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in this formulation should not be treated with this product.

Cautions: For use as an oral solution only. This should not be considered as a substitute for a sound dental program. It should be used under the direction of a veterinarian who can advise on a complete oral health program. Do not use concomitantly with other animal dentifrices or toothpastes. Published literature has reported some possible staining with prolonged use of Chlorhexidine Gluconate. Applying the solution with a toothbrush will reduce staining.

Storage

Store between 14°C and 28°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures over 49°C. Keep container well closed. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
