Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement contains yeast, magnesium, calcium, potassium, electrolytes, energy, select vitamins and certain other nutrients for dairy cows at freshening.

Directions For Use

Feed one pound of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement immediately after calving. Feed another one pound of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement within 12 to 18 hours after calving and an additional one pound of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement within 24 hours after calving.

DRENCH FEEDING:

Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement is convenient to feed as a drench suspension by mixing one pound of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement with one pint of warm water. Drench suspension slowly to permit swallowing. Do not drench cows that are down or struggle excessively with fluids or gels as their swallowing reflexes may be impaired.

WATER FEEDING:

Many cows will consume the initial one-pound feeding of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement when mixed with warm drinking water. The quicker the offering of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement in the drinking water after calving, the better the consumption. When adding to the drinking water, mix one half pound of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement to five gallons of warm water and repeat it again to provide an initial intake of one pound of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement.

FEEDING MIXING OR TOP DRESSING:

When feed mixing or top dressing, mix sufficient Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement in the total ration or grain ration to provide a daily intake of one pound of Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement the first three days after calving. When top dressing, hand mix or disperse Bovi Fresh^® Calcium Supplement throughout the grain or total ration.
