FIRST AID

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, and then continue rinsing eyes. Call a poison control center for treatment advice.

Advantage Treatment Spray for Cats Caution

Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This product is toxic to fish and other aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters or rinsate.

PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL HAZARDS: Flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame.

Kills the following listed insects on contact: American Dog Ticks, Brown Dog Ticks, Deer Ticks, Fleas, Gulf Coast Ticks, Lice, Lone Star Ticks, other Ixodid species, Ticks that may carry and transmit Lyme disease.

Advantage Treatment Spray for Cats contains a combination of ingredients that stops the flea life cycle and kills other listed insects. The first active ingredient is Nylar^®, an insect growth regulator which inhibits development of the immature stages of the flea, preventing them from reaching the adult stage. Nylar is similar to insect growth hormones that occur naturally in insects. The second active ingredient is the botanical insecticide, Pyrethrins, which provides effective knock-down and quick-kill of insects upon direct contact. The third active ingredient enhances the killing activity of pyrethrins.

The combination of ingredients in Advantage Treatment Spray for Cats kills adult fleas and hatching fleas and flea eggs before they grow up to bite.

As part of a complete flea control program, treat pets and indoor areas using EPA registered Advantage Household Spot & Crevice Spray indoor flea and tick spray; treat outdoor areas where animals frequent using EPA registered Advantage Yard & Premise Spray outdoor flea and tick spray.

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

USE RESTRICTIONS:

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.

USE ONLY ON CATS. CONSULT A VETERINARIAN BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT ON DEBILITATED, AGED, PREGNANT OR NURSING ANIMALS.

Not for use in outdoor residential misting systems (indoor or outdoor) or outdoor metered release systems.

DO NOT TREAT CATS UNDER 7 MONTHS OF AGE WITH THIS PRODUCT.

Do not use in aircraft cabins.

Do not wet articles to point of runoff or drip.

Do not use treated articles until spray has dried.

Application of this product is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to storm sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow this product to enter any drain during or after application.

FOR CATS: Cover animal’s eyes with a hand. Do not spray directly on mouth, nose, or eyes. Spray head, ears, and chest until damp. With finger tips, rub into face and around mouth, nose, and eyes. Then spray from neck to tail, finishing legs last. For best penetration of spray to skin and on heavy-coated animals, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand. Make sure the spray thoroughly wets ticks. When used on cats, towel-dry the animal after 1/2 hour if not totally dry. Avoid contact with genitalia. Repeat as required, but not more often than once every 7 days (1 week).

FOR KITTENS OVER 7 MONTHS: Wrap the animal in a towel that has been sprayed lightly with this product. Leave eyes, nose, and mouth exposed. Put some spray on the finger and gently rub around eyes, nose, and mouth area. Keep animal wrapped for 5 to 10 minutes. Fleas may then be removed from the coat by picking or combing. For best results, cats should be treated with a similar flea control product such as Advantage Treatment Spray for Cats to prevent reinfestation. Do not spray directly on kittens. Avoid contact with genitalia. Repeat as required, but not more often than once every 14 days (2 weeks).

Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product on pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal.

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Keep this product in its tightly closed original container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry (preferably locked) area, below 120° F, that is inaccessible to children and animals, and food and pet food.

CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Contents under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate.

If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available.

If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.

Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
