Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur while taking attapulgite (the active ingredient contained in Parepectolin)
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue).

Applies to attapulgite: oral suspension, oral tablet, oral tablet chewable
Gastrointestinal side effects have included constipation, dyspepsia, flatulence, and nausea.[Ref]
Nervous system side effects have been reported rarely. These have included headache and dizziness.[Ref]
